This is my new go to place to get work done on my car. I failed my smog because of an exhaust leak. Campus Shell could have charged me for a new exhaust and instead told me I could save money by having the hole in the exhaust welded. This place is honest and the technicians are so friendly and knowledgeable. If any anyone is looking for an honest mechanic, I 100% recommend Campus Shell.

For the past 5 years we’ve been using them for smog checks in all of our vehicles so over a dozen times. I found out the hard way that it is a one-man operation. The smog guy is separate from the mechanic, and my second or third time being there during their normal hours the smog guy had gone home ill. Now that I know it is a one man operation, I call ahead of time. It’s wonderful to support an independent, one person operation but I highly recommend calling before going in. Other than that caveat he gets the job done at the best price around. Our big diesel truck costs more but that’s the same anywhere. PS: One of the reviewers above mentions the sky knows nothing about cars because he said it was a 2.4 L with turbo and his is a 2.0, no turbo, but that’s a problem with the VIN number…just saying
