Quick great reliable but never mentioned anything about recommending tire rotation wich I wish they would of cause I've been going there for over 2 years and needed my tires rotated apparently because I had to repurchase my front tires after 2 years because mine were never rotated nor did i ever think to have them rotated because of my busy life also, they don't check any other fluids other than oil level unless you ask them to . They Always want to offer replacement filters at an additional price. I do enjoy the free car wash and they are literally the fastest at changing oil in town without any hassle so over all I appreciate the clean fast and friendly experience just wish they were a little more thoural with tire rotation offer and recommendations also they should check all fluids without a customer having to remind or ask.

You’re in & out in record time—but I never had such an expensive oil change before. $36 more than where I usually go. You're definitely paying for the convenience. But besides that, friendly staff and a free car wash with your purchase—no appointment needed.

I really can't believe this but I went into this place today and asked if they could check my tire pressure. The guy told me I had a nail in my tire and sent me to a place down the road. I went to the place and they told me the tread was too low to patch and I need to buy all new tires. I went someplace else and the guy there told me there's no nail in my tire. He even took it off but just to be sure, I had it checked again by someone else and sure enough, no nail. I don't know if they are in cahoots with the tire place but that's dirty business.

I was going to this place for years because I thought I could trust them and I felt comfortable only to find out they damaged my 2017 ford fusion. I had oil leaks because they didn’t too my oil off correctly, they didn’t change the filters and they some how created an oil leak in my car.

Was it more expensive than other places? Absolutely! Was the convenience worth it since I didn't have to leave the car once, they did it immediately and was done in under 15 minutes? Also Absolutely. Guys were super friendly too! Car wash was eh, bonus, but I came for the convenience.

I took my car in for a transmission fluid change and oil change. As soon as I left, my check engine light came on and another indicator appeared on the dash Drove my car back and the tech reset my VSC system and light went off. I drop off, got on the freeway and the check engine light came on again along with VSC indicator. Took it back and told them none of this was present until they changed my oil. The tech recommend me taking my car to the mechanic shop next door - not! I sure hope these people are not running a scam. Then I woke up this morning with oil all over my garage floor. Had to take my car back again because they forgot to tightened my drain plug. My advice is stay far far away from this place

I have to day I have had the BEST experiences today with Customer Service. First at Canepa's Mobil 1 Lube Express at 6220 N Pacific Ave Stockton, CA 95207! They did my oil change, filter changes & even got sap from the tree off my windows for me & done by the owner himself while his techs worked on my car! I got to sit in the comfort of my car. They techs all super attentive & all very sweet! They deserve a 10 star rating! I was done super fast! I also got a free car wash! I love this place! I highly recommend them! I will never go anywhere else & so close to my office! Drive through people who do Customer Service & TAKE NOTES!

I have been going to speedee oil for years now and have been ripped off, they assume since I am a young women I apparently know nothing. I came across canepas thankfully. They have been nothing but kind, professional and very knowledgeable. I was quoted for brakes at speedee oil $1100 for front brakes and $1100 for back brakes, so I went to canepas for a second opinion. I was told it would be $290 ish for front and same for the back brakes. It was a huge difference. When I arrived at canepas to get my windshield wipers looked at since they kept going back and forth and my switch wasn't working. The moment we arrived the car just stopped working, the owner and a worker had come to help and said they had appointments so we can leave the car and they can look at it after there appointments. They're the time when they did not have to and looked at the car and fixed the problem. Tightened the battery wires that were loose and recharged the battery and..yes there is more they looked at the fuse and got the car to turn back in. The most amazing part is they did not charge me!! They had appointments when I just came in without one and they put me first when they did not need to. They helped me out and got the car running. I highly recommend canepas! They know what they are doing and are great at it! Thank you canepas!

My dad is a long time customer due to their very fast service but one time went for an oil change, filter, transmission and the service was done very fast. However, when he commuted to the bay area his skid plate pulled out and got damaged in the freeway. I'm writing this to spread awareness and hopefully they will do better next time.

EXCEPTIONAL service !! So awesome because I stayed in my vehicle with my dog while mechanics changed oil, filters & did an overall diagnostics for me. No monkey business, they showed me filters that needed changing, then showed me the new filters before install. Even cooler ? The price was very reasonable & fair. Professional, friendly & fast !! I Always try & support the locally family owned businesses here in Stockton!!! My experience with Canepa’s Lube & Oil service has always been stellar but this past oil change was a disappointing when it came to paying. I looked back at the pay statement for my past oil changes on my 3 vehicles I normally get serviced (which amounted to 8+ bills over the past years) with Canepa Lube & Oil and they average about $125 per vehicle, which is fine, but this past oil change came with an additional charge of $15 for labor on taking my factory installed plastic skid plate off & on? My 3 vehicles all have this factory installed plastic skid plates which have to be taken off & re-installed every oil change. It was Not stated, from there service representative, that there would be this New additional charge & No where was it posted. Needless to say I was upset & I am not sure I will be taking my vehicles back there or recommending to anyone going to Canapa Lube & Oil for an oil change! What will I find on my bill next time, an additional charge of $10 charge to remove & install the oil drain plug. I believe this new charge of $15 is disturbing as every 2000+ late model vehicle has these skid plates factory installed to reduce noise & road debris from entering under the motor while driving. Sorry Mr. Canapa this does not go without being recognized or approved by a good supportive Stockton client.

They SCAM WOMEN. My sister went to get an oil change and they unplugged a wire while doing her oil change which made her car misfire and offered her a mechanic trying to charge $140. My whole family used to go there but we won’t anymore.

I love coming here and will not go anywhere else. The gentlemen are so helpful and nice. They never try to sell you anything and the owner is always around and friendly. I love that as a woman i can come here knowing I'm in good hands especially as a woman who has experienced people taking advantage of her because they think I don't know anything about cars but the people here never make me feel like that. I always recommend this place to anyone I talk to. I live in lodi but drive here just for their great knowledgeable service!! 100/10 I have brought 3 different vehicles here and it's always great!

The people at Canepa's are nice and seem eager to do a good job and they probably do most of the time, but the last time I took my car to them they were over scheduled and because of that, I don't think they really took the time to figure out what was wrong with my car. I told them it was getting stuck in park and that someone else told me it could be something as simple as the wrong tail lights and I was hoping that was true. When I picked it up they said that is what it was and changed them for me. My car got stuck in park again a week later. When I called to tell them it was still happening, I asked if they could look at it again but waived the diagnostic fee, but they said they could only waive the fee if something something something - I dunno what jargon specifically but I can't afford for them to give me some reason I have to pay again for the thing I already paid for. I had started taking my car to them for everything not long before this incident - so I was becoming a regular customer and my car needed lots of work (still does) so it is super disappointing to me that they didn't respond differently when I called them back to say the issue wasn't actually fixed. I really feel like they were too busy for me. Even tho I had made an appointment, they hesitated about whether they would have the time to get me in and then needed to keep my car a second day and when I called the second day for an update they hadn't even looked at it yet. Sometimes in business you mess up and I think this was one of those times and I suppose I don't blame them for hoping a quick fix along the lines of what I had suggested would do the trick, but I am a woman and I drive a lot for my work so its important to me to lower my chances of being stranded out in nowhere or anywhere. I'll start taking my car back to James in Rio Vista where I used to live because whenever he was too busy for me, he told me he was too busy for me. And he always did good and trustworthy work (just in case anyone else wants to make the journey to have their cars worked on:) Maybe this place is ok for run-of-the-mill maintenance work, but not if you need something beyond that. Edited update due to canepa’s uncaring response - one star, not 3 as I originally put. I don’t think the customer is always right but I know that I know that you all were too busy for me and you don’t want to admit it at all. Of course you were going to charge me for a new diagnostic, that appears evident.

Always great service, however the price has increased dramatically. I got a list of all my oil changes and did an analysis. I have always used the same oil. I have been a loyal customer with my SUV since 2011 (same vehicle). The cost over the first 10 years increased by exactly 10.01%. From 2021 to 2022 (a period of approximately 1 year) the price increased by 12.89%. For a period of 2 years - 2022 to 2024, the price went up 15.84% more ($62.46 for oil change only). They have out priced me now. Unfortunately, I’m going to have to seek a new oil change shop or just start doing it myself.

I had my check engine light on and the code was P0017 and upon research it was suggested for an oil change so i brought it here. They started with 5 stars for the oil change which was fast and convenient even though it was $40 more than my usual place, being an extremely busy person it was worth it. I pulled in and I loved not having to wait inside. It was very fast. That being said, they performed the oil change and the check engine light did not turn off so i asked if the mechanic could look at it. I was told I needed an appointment which I made. I dropped the car off in the morning and heard back around 3pm saying the issue was they needed to change 2 selenoids and gave me an estimate of $300 and asked to keep the car until the next day. I agreed. I picked up the car the next afternoon, it was $450 and the check engine light came back on after driving 1 block. I took the car back and was told the engine was contaminated by metal shavings and would need to be replaced. I had another mechanic show me the metal shavings that were in the oil. You can't miss them and it literally only took a few minutes to get to the selenoids after removing the air filter but I paid 2 hours labor. I also do not understand why they would even do the work when they could see the engine was already contaminated. That was the last day i could drive the car as it gave me "engine power reduced" message and didn't want to move. Extremely disappointed and feeling taken advantage of. I will not return and do not recommend.
