From the moment I called to the moment I drove away, this was a great experience. After calling six other places which were also booked full for the week, I reached Russ who promised me 3 minutes of his busy day if I dropped by for him to check out my van. He ended up spending an hour working on my van, charged me only for parts, and refused a tip. All the gentlemen I spoke to here were down-to-earth and kind. Even with how busy they were, they were cheerful and considerate. I'd go back here for any work in the future. Thanks again!

My suburban broke down just down the street from this shop. After a friend of mine got my car drivable I went in and asked if they could help me fill my antifreeze. Without hesitation they filled my car and charged me a very reasonable amount. Best service I have had from a shop in Bend! Will definitely use in the future for repairs and maintenance.

I came in last Friday to have the little plastic bumper piece hanging off the front left part of my car assessed and we were helped by Russ and another gentleman- I do not remember his name but he was very kind and informative! We waited for about an hour but they seemed very busy and I was happy to wait in their warm office while they worked. The gentleman who assisted us was able to fix this and it looks wonderful! They seem very kind and I will be going back if this poor bumper piece does need to be replaced. :) 10/10 recommend!

I highly recommend Car Kare! The service is great and the prices are fair. Ken and Kara have always been so nice and helpful. Russ is a great addition as well. From getting towed in for a serpentine belt, bad radiator hoses to routine oils changes Car Kare handles all of my Subaru needs. Thanks for a job well done time and time again.

I had the best experience with Car Kare over the 4th of July holiday. I was driving my two kids from Boise to Eugene when my transmission went out-- totally out!! Ken and his employees spent a lot of time trying to figure out what the problem was. They spent a lot of time trying to help us get on the road. Finally, they discovered it was the transmission and I ended up taking it to the dealer. Car Kare took really good care of us, and though they spent a lot of time and care for us they didn't charge me a penny. How completely decent was that? Even though we were from out of state and he had nothing to lose but to charge us, he did not. What a gracious guy! Thank you very much for everything you did to help us in Bend! Your business shows a lot of sincere integrity. Thank you!

I was referred to Car Kare by my life partner after we purchased a used vehicle that needed some TLC, including an engine oil leak diagnosis, replacing a CV joint and sway bar links, and an overall assessment of the vehicle so we could take it long road trips. I was on vacation with my young family and my AC compressor blew. It was almost dangerous to drive. I essentially didn’t have a vehicle for our vacation, and we couldn’t drive back over the pass to Portland to get home. It was the eve of Columbus Day, I called literally 10+ shops and no one would see me. Car Kare squeezed me in first thing the next day. They fixed me up with a temporary workaround to ensure my car was safe to drive for our vacation, and to get back home over the pass to Portland. (Then I could replace the issue at a later date). I’m so grateful to the guys at Car Kare - for seeing I was in a bind, that my vehicle was unsafe for my kiddos, squeezing me in when no one else would, and offering me a solution. Thank you!!!

It's always a pleasure to have my van serviced here. They quickly identify things you should do, without adding extra items you do not need. As part of my last general inspection, they regrease my suspension's grease fittings. I didn't have to ask, and they did not charging anything extra. It is refreshing going to a shop that does something with the service fee you pay for. They really do Kare lol.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I wish I could leave more than 5 stars because Austin and his team truly deserve it. Hats off to them for an amazing experience helping my sister-in-law when her water pump started failing. A friend of mine—who’s also a mechanic—recommended Austin’s shop as one that can be trusted, and man, that recommendation was spot on. I had already narrowed the issue down to a likely bad water pump, and within minutes of arriving they confirmed it. They initially estimated about a week for the repair but managed to get it done the very next morning! My sister-in-law later called about getting some additional maintenance done (fluids and filters), and instead of upselling her, they honestly told her that everything was still in good shape and didn’t need service yet. Honest mechanics, great customer service, and genuinely good people—that’s a rare combo these days. Austin and his crew absolutely came through big time. You’ve earned a lifelong customer from her (and me). Thanks again!
