They are the professional on carburators, I went all the way driving 60 miles to take my carburetor for my old 58" Chevy and they were fast, I even waited there, nice people to make businesses with.

I purchased a Carburetor for my 1962 Falcon from Dan at Carburetor center on May 13th. Was to be in Detroit by the 17th. UPS LOST IT. Finally came on 22nd. Not Dan's Fault. BUT, when I opened the box, #1- the BALL Stud on the gas pedal linkage had been cut off. Can't hookup pedal linkage. #2- Deep pitting &grinder marks on base gaskets area & bowl cover..#3- some kind of epoxy on the bottom of the bowl area, covering a vacuum plug,I think?. Definitely NOT THE BEST LOOKING CARB on the shelf. So, I sent pictures immediately. Waited until morning to call. Called, waited on hold for 11 minutes. Hung up. Called back, Dan answered,,said that didn't get pictures. Said would have to talk to JOE?? I texted him with the picture and asked to PLEASE let me know what can be done. No answer. Waited until 10 minutes before closing and called again. John tells me Dan didn't come in today. When I tell him I talked to Dan this morning, he stumbled. I asked to PLEASE have Dan call me ASAP. They have $344.00& I have a Carburetor I CAN'T USE. I Could have purchased the same thing for half the price from a competitor. WITHOUT A $95.00 CORE CHARGE.I feel like I'm getting the RUN AROUND. Their Website makes promises, Will let you know if they keep them. Being I'm 3000 miles away. I'm wondering??If Dan makes things Right then I'll update you on them. Your turn Dan. You have my number. Thanks Eric

They didn't have the carb i needed in stock so I called and asked if I could send mine in for a full rebuild and what the turnaround time would be. He said no problem and it will be a week turnaround. I sent it in and they shipped it out the next week. Great service.

These guys are the Best very impressed with the workmanship , bought a carburetor for my restored 1957 Plymouth Belvedere 301 4.9 original factory restore this Hard to find carburetor was in stock at there location and after installation car started and idle was to perfection with no adjustments needed, engine is running smooth as can be. With plymouth restorations so hard to find original parts this company really came through for me this car will be scheduled to go to Barrett Jackson in April and is finally complete , Top Notch And Very Rear All Original Plymouth. Thanks to the Carburetor Center..

First off, let me say that I have worked in the motorsports industry since graduating from UTI in 2007 and currently hold certifications with 5 major manufacturers so I know a bit about how things operate normally and ethically amidst the service and parts sector. Now that I've explained where I come from let me set the stage. My mother-in-law had an RV she was staying in after losing her home to the wild fires here in Oregon last summer but has since had the city tell her it had to be removed but a bad carb prevented it from running properly. The city returned in an attempt to tow the RV but she was able to buy a few days when showing proof a replacement was on the way after paying the premium price asked, but runnability testing prior to shipping I read about I felt justified the cost of receiving a premium product and as well as service. And it appears to be a decent product that I was sent, product quality wasnt the issue but the incorrect product shipped to me was. A blatant mistake on the sellers part, then when I informed them I would need a refund because there simply wasn't enough time to wait on a replacement to be shipped out I was told I needed to pay for the return shipping if I wanted a refund despite admitting the error in shipping was 100% their fault. So not only will my mother-in-law will now along with the house she will also be losing her RV as well. I'm honestly speechless. Hands down my worst experience with shotty customer service. The total lack of integrity shown is sickening, and spineless business practice.

I purchased a Carburetor for my 69 Cadillac. The car now runs much smoother and has better throttle response. Good product with a fair price !

They Delivered on everything they promised. Said I would receive a plug & play reman’d 4300D Carb and that’s exactly what I received. Installed, pumped the accelerator to load fuel into carb, started right up and runs like a champ.. Didn’t have to adjust anything on carb, just as they promised. They were also very responsive to any emails I sent to them. Great shop to work with, they know their stuff inside and out. I’m very happy with the excellent service and product provided by Carburetor Center!

I have a early Bronco 351W with go fast goodies. Needed a carb and had The Carburetor Exchange send me a Quadra jet. This carburetor runs better than the brand new Q Jet that I installed on the 351 18 years ago !! More than happy All I did was adjust the idle screws . Thanks guys ! its great to know to know there are guys out there that really know your stuff !! I will be sending you more work for sure .

I needed to get my carburetor tuned to my engine, but after they checked it out I really needed to get it rebuilt. I needed to get it right so I could pass smog. They rebuilt it and tuned it to my car in one day. I went to get it smogged and it didn't pass, it needed just a little bit more tweaking. I took it back and they tweaked it with no drama, and it passed with flying colors! If you ever need to get your carb tuned to your engine or rebuilt take it to these guys they are the best! I live in Chino and I couldn't find one supposedly carburetor shop that would even look at it. If you need to get work done on your old school with a carburetor don't hesitate just go. I found the best I'm done with the rest!

Worst place ever. If I could show images. Of what they call remanufactured. Youd be shocked. Return times are terrible. And refunds are worse. I broke my back and couldn't get it done on thier time . So I lost out on $500. I don't normally leave bad reviews. Becuase stuff works out sellers standby thier parts. But not here stay away

Poor quality workmanship. Purchased a carb from them in 2020. I have about 1800 miles on it in that time and it already failed. Would definitely not recommend them. I drive the vehicle once a week… the original carb lasted 38 years and 200,000 miles… this carb fell well short of the mark.

Great support! Ordered a Rochester 4GC carb for my 1956 Oldsmobile, one received was not compatible. Talked to Dan and sent both the Carb Center and mine back by UPS for rebuild paid for by the company. Great company & Staff to work with, plus price was reasonable. Will use them in the future if needed.

I ordered a carburetor online from this carb center. After two weeks of trying to get them to give me a shipping date, I had to ask for a refund for the payment. Poor communications, only wanted to text, poor customer service. Just an overall bad experience.

Carburetor Center delivered wrong model carb that was incomplete; it was missing parts, and had what appeared to be a home-made choke housing mounting bracket. They provided a return shipping label and sent a second carburetor. The second carburetor was the correct model but was also missing parts and the bowl cover assembly was damaged. Dan informed me that they did not have another replacement they could send, so I could either keep or return the incomplete, damaged product. When I chose to return the carburetor, Dan told me I would have to pay the return shipping. When I replied that I would be returning it as incomplete and damaged, Dan sent me a link to their return policy. If you read the return policy, you will likely believe it applies to returns of “good” products that the customer decides they no longer want, NOT to incomplete, damaged BAD products. Dan and the carburetor center do not stand behind their products. They send the wrong models that are missing parts and/or damaged, and expect the customer to accept their inferior products. Worse, when a customer identifies the delivered product as incomplete and damaged, they fall back on their return policy (in bogus fashion) and require the customer to pay return shipping, and then chisel an extra 10% handling fee off the refund. It cost me $98 to do business with Dan and the carburetor center and I got NOTHING for my money. In an email from Dan, the footer says: “We'll do everything we can to make sure you have a good experience with us.” $98 for NOTHING is not a good experience, Downdraft Dan. Beware of doing business with the carburetor center.

I received the carburetor yesterday and installed it this morning. This is a 1955, Studebaker, 259 v8, 6 volt, with a mechanical fuel pump. The car had been sitting maybe two weeks while the carburetor was off. After installing the empty carburetor. It started up in nothing flat and ran nicely! With overdrive there are a couple linkage adjustments yet to do but getting the carb remanufactured was money well spent. Maybe, 4.5 stars. I had a couple issues but they took care of them expeditiously. Merwin Harstad

I purchased a carburetor from Daniel at this company, Only to find out once it was installed it wasn't functioning as designed, I reached out to Daniel, and he basically told me to pound sand. The Carburetor cost me 743.00, plus and additional 300.00 to repair said carburetor so IT could function properly. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND BUYING ANYTHING FROM THESE FOLKS. I WASN'T LOOKING FOR A TOTAL REFUND, BUT AT LEAST PAY FOR THE REBUILDING OF IT, WHICH CLEARLY WASN'T DONE. THEY ARE SHREWD BUSINESSPEOPLE. SO, BUYER BEWARE.
