I had a very disappointing experience at CarMasters during and after my vehicle inspection. The front desk receptionist, Tracy, was extremely rude and unprofessional throughout the process. When I called to schedule a reinspection after my vehicle initially failed, she hung up on me several times even though I was being respectful. I went to the shop in person to address the issue, and again she was rude and dismissive. When I tried to explain how I felt about the poor customer service and asked to speak to a manager or someone above her, she refused to provide contact information and began taking another phone call while I was speaking. When I again asked for the manager’s contact information, she told me to leave the office and made a threatening remark (“watch this”) before walking away. I even contacted the police because I felt extremely uncomfortable with how I was being treated. The officer I spoke with said this shop is known for poor customer service, which was disheartening to hear especially since I had just spent $239 on services there. Later, I received an email from Tracy stating that I was “disrespectful, vulgar, and threatening,” which is completely untrue. I was calm and simply stood up for myself after being treated unfairly. I can’t help but feel that my treatment may have been influenced by racial bias, as I was never disrespectful and only requested fair service and accountability. I’ve never been treated this poorly as a paying customer. My experience was horrible . I don’t recommend anyone going to this shop.

Overall, great experience, great service, no issues with the work and they were fast. If I had to point to anything negative, they charged for the diagnostic although I got the work done. That is not how traditional shops operate.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Carmasters was great, I scheduled an appointment for last wednesday to have my car looked at due to a check engine light and some issues with acceleration. Carmasters was able to take the car in 2 days earlier. Tracy was such a great help in keeping me informed and updated with the status of my vehicle. Made last minute changes to look at my truck while traveling. Another shop replaced the steering rack but didn’t do an alignment (why, I don’t know), so to drive 20 hours home and not destroy my tires I came here to get it lined up. No questions asked, no problems, just did the work for me. Tracy the service writer is also very helpful and easy to deal with. Was charged what I would consider an average amount for the alignment and didn’t feel like I paid any extra than I should have.

It's hard to look beyond the horrendous customer service when that is the first service you are greeted with. Tracy = 0 stars I've been loyally coming to this place for years. This time, enough is enough. I did a walk in on Wednesday, she books me for a Monday. I immediately go online and book it for Friday since there were plenty openings. I show up, I was met with the same unpleasant attitude and office with Tracy leaned back in chair with legs crossed and on her phone. It's hard to believe that there where no openings for today (Friday) when it was wide open on Wednesday when I booked it. There's a flaw somewhere and I suggest Mr Bennett start with Tracy and his appointment scheduling tool at this location. When I asked who is her supervisor, she mumbles she don't have one. I precede to ask who writes her checks, she answers Jim Bennett. I would had rather spoken to Mr Bennett but she given me no contact info and Google search was limited on his info so a review is all I'm left to do at the moment and to caution anyone of this type of service. The auto repair service over the years have been average. I like how everything can be explained via online with pictures/remarks. I just can't see myself going to an establishment where I'm uncomfortable. Wish them the best of luck.

Tracey is kind. Full warning though only go here if you already know what your car needs or if the work is minor. Our experience was unethical. We went to them with a list of priority concerns. $600 worth of diagnostic test later (which did not include an additional $400 they wanted to check the engine light and fog indicator light) they gave us a list of work that needed to be done (we thought this work would address our list of concerns ) so $4296.45 was paid for them to do the work. After they finished they realized the issues were not resolved and said it would be another $209 for them to check what they think the actual problem is. We declined. The car drives the same or worst at times and they couldn’t care less. The additional diagnostic should have been free of charge especially since $600 worth of diagnostics was already paid. (They wanted over $1200 for diagnostics only to address our concerns) Front desk is kind though. So if you want friendly customer service and you know the work is minor this is the place for you! Otherwise get multiple opinions before trusting them to do a proper diagnostic..you will be overcharged.

I drop my car off around 4pm on 4/3/2025 for an Oil Change and Transmission Flush and Change and picked up the vehicle 4/4/2025 around 4pm. Today, on the 19th of April. I decided to check my oil level and it was overfilled above the maximum line/dot on the stick on the engine. I decided to takeoff some oil out myself because I will have a problem with the engine. When I took off some oil, it was black like it was never been replaced. I took a video for proof and my elder son saw it. This is a scam! I paid $497.44 and it was not flush and changed from the transmission and oil change! What are you guys are planning to do here because I can take this to the court and maybe go further with the news. I am highly disappointed and unhappy about this situation. I will go to the shop on Monday when I get off to show the video to the Manager. This is outrageous!

I highly recommend Carmasters. They go above and beyond with everything. They are onpoint and keep you updated with what you need to get the work done. Tracy is very informative and knows what she is talking about as far as your vehicle, she lets you the price before any work is done. Matt (mechanic) is on point as far as getting the job done, he also goes out of his way to find parts you need that helps you save money. I needed a engine due to going through high water and it tore my engine up. He found me a good engine for a great price and did the work in a timely manner and the car now runs better then it ever did. Can’t even tell that the engine was replaced. I recommend Carmasters and trust them with whatever needs to get done with my vehicle. i will be going back there from this point on for anything I need done.

BEST INSPECTION STATION / REPAIR SHOP Top notch service 👌, I got what I needed done with no hassle. Tracy scheduled me for a VA Inspection which 95% of shops around here do not schedule inspections. I definitely recommend this shop highly. Tracy was great as well as the mechanic that inspected my truck.
