Editing: Editing down to 1 star. Three weeks later, no return email or phone call from the manager as indicated in their response below. Their "follow-up" is a marketing ploy to attempt to counteract negative reviews. I brought my car in because the steering wheel was vibrating. My guess was it needed an alignment. They recommended a tire balance, so I agreed. $90. They said I could bring it back if the issue wasn’t solved. Car kept shaking, so I brought it back in, again suggesting an alignment. They called me shortly after I dropped it off to say I needed all four tires replaced. I asked how they didn’t see that the tires needed to be replaced when they were being balanced just last week. I was told: “We don’t look at the tires, we just balance them.” So, I don’t know a lot about cars and I google how tires are balanced… Please note that each tire must be removed by hand for the balancing process. I declined their offer of four tires plus an alignment for $600. Took my car to Franky’s who - from 10 feet away, told me my tires were dry rotting (yes, I’m embarrassed) and quoted me $400. From 6 feet away they were able to tell that the wear was even and no alignment was necessary. I’m embarrassed I didn’t think better to do more research on my own and so disappointed to have been swindled by this shop! Thankfully it was only $90. I give two stars because Jim is pretty funny.

They were super helpful! We were on our way from the Outer Banks during hurricane Ian and our car got stuck in water. The spark plugs and air filter were wet and the car would not start. They were able to get us in at the last minute, diagnose the issue and had it fixed that evening. We are very thankful they were able to help us as quickly as they did and get us on our way home back to Pittsburgh. The cost was super reasonable as well. A huge thank you to everyone at Speedy Auto! I would give 10 Stars if I could!

I had a tire that was slowly losing air pressure. Then the last 3 days was nearly flat each morning. I haven't needed service like this before and was not sure where to go. But I went in early, was serviced promptly for a reasonable fee, and was on my way in a half hour. Cory and his staff were pleasant to deal with. I will be back again if needed.

My first time at Speedy Auto Service for a vehicle state inspection left a positive impression. I arrived at 10:30am on a Monday and was informed that due to having only one certified inspector, my car would be ready by 7:30am the following morning. Was pleasantly surprised when I got a call at 3:45 pm the same day saying that my car was ready for pick-up. In addition to the inspection, I opted for a synthetic oil change which was $70. Overall, great customer service and friendly, efficient communication. Would recommend.

I had such a bad experience here like 5 years back. I was warned not to take my car here by everyone at work and a buddy but it was convenient and like a block away. Every time I think about this place and the tall black guy that has the bad attitude for absolutely no reason, it just triggers me. It was honestly such a horrible experience that I felt the need to leave a review at 730 in the morning 5 years later. Very memorable.

I’ve been going to Speedy’s for years, have had lots of different services done and always been extremely happy with the service and the results. Jim is fantastic, very accommodating and I’ve never seen him without a smile on his face. An auto shop that I can trust….what a great thing!

DO NOT COME IF YOU ARE A WOMAN - rude, predatory staff. Honestly don't come if you're a man either, staff are disrespectful and lazy - they overcharge for oil changes and talk down to you.

I have been a loyal customer of Speedys Auto Repair for many years, and I can confidently say they are the best in the business. The facility is always welcoming, and the staff is incredibly friendly especially Jim and Cory. Their quality of work is top-notch, and their pricing is both reasonable and competitive. I will simply say this if you want to make it home safely don’t get any alignment work done here. I was driving home yesterday and my steering felt weird and the car vibrated at minimum interstate speeds. After making it across the HRBT feeling very dissatisfied I took the car to an auto shop. The shop took my wheels off and found this part of both side very loose. My question is how was this not caught before releasing me the vehicle. I rather you keep the vehicle and fix it or quote your findings. I won’t be going back here ever again or the place that replaced the rack and pinion named Martins Auto Repair around the corner from this place.

I came to here after getting turned away at another shop, Jim squeezed me in to get my tires in. Jim was so polite and very welcoming. My friend and I were in the waiting area for about three hours since we didn’t have a ride. We chit chatted and it had the time go super fast. Since I was there for a while I noticed how welcoming and up beat he was to ever since customer that walked in. Highly recommend!
