DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! I cammed my LS1 Camaro and took it to Jeff and he just tuned it to make power wether it was safe or not. My car was tuned at 28degrees @wot no matter the rpm. And it would continuously die and idled like crap, I took it back to him twice and he just added air on idle and said it'll adapt and be fine. It never did, I brought it to a different tuner and now it runs perfect and makes the same power! Don't waste your money!!

I recommended a good friend take his Z06 to Jeff for a build. They car came back undriveable in warm weather. For a car that was supposed to be able to idle in Northern Va. Rush hour traffic in JULY, it wouldn’t run reasonably in 80 degree weeather, forget 95 degree weather. Jeff NEVER took ownership of the build or the tune, and when the motor finally blew, my buddy had a car that is not driveable. I used to tell people to go to CAM. Now, I’d not take a bicycle to him. He did the same to another friend named Nick as well. Avoid this place.

Jeff, Tim, & Henry have been servicing my C6 & C7 Corvettes for 4 years. They are honest, good people, that really care about cars and their customers, and they know their stuff. They did the engine work on my C7 Z51 that resulted in 515 RWHP that has seen a lot of track time at VIR. As a NASA instructor, I l know a lot of other instructors who use their services and are very happy. Highly recommended.

Hello so I have known Jeff for years, I used to have a drag car that he helped me with a lot. Here recently I just bought a low miles 2002 ss Camaro. Jeff did heads cam and full exhaust and cold air intake and a heavy duty race clutch. The work he did looks great the car runs very strong and the drivability is great. Best marriage counselor in a 100 mile radius!!! My partner had promised for my birthday to repair my C4 corvette. After a 2 week, fruitless diagnostic period I started hearing about the horrible things he would do to the car, too cruel to mention here. I'll be the first to admit this car is a real 10 footer sopping wet but she's my 10 footer and I don't intend to get rid of her. After a few intense discussions we decided to contact a 3rd party to reconcile our differences. Jeff soothed my partner enough that a civil resolution could be made. We dropped the car off and throughout the time she was gone we were always getting updates on progress. When the fateful day came for the car to return home to our family both Jeff and Tim properly flattered me about the car, gave me the dyno sheet, and sent me on my way. To me their prices were extremely reasonable but for full transparency I did not pay for the repair. In conclusion, thanks to Carolina Automasters not only do I have my car, I'm also happier than ever with my partner!

Jeff and his staff are very good at what they do. I was referred to Jeff by a friend at VIR for some engine repair early this year. They diagnosed the issue while I was there and had me track ready within a few days. We're in the process of taken this same car back to street use. I have high expectations this will go well. These guys are about doing quality work at a reasonable price. If your looking for a glossy showy place with super customer lounge, hot coffee and snacks this ain't the place. I come for the work and I bring my own coffee.

As always CAM exceeded my expectations. Anyone with a negative experience with someone as friendly as Jeff doesn't understand how dynos work. You CAN NOT show up needing things or trying to to get by. Show up with a sound engine, new plugs/fuel/etc.. and let him work his major. His shop is like any other, show up prepared and you will leave happy. Try to push double of what your engine left the factory with while not being prepared and you will leave unhappy. Jeff and his entire crew will always get my business. The nicest, most friendly and best priced company around by far. BTW I showed up, made over 75whp more than I was hoping for BECAUSE I WAS PREPARED

I've used Jeff (and Tim) for years on my 05' GTO. They've been able to do correctly what several other speed shops/garages/dealers have not.They've solved ECU issues, have rebuilt the engine, CAM, clutch replace, rear end swap and all has been great. Dyno results were better than expected and the car runs well! The experience shows and the quality work is always at a fair price. I trust my vehicle at Carolina Auto Masters so much that I drive (or tow) it the hour plus from the east side of Raleigh when ever its service/upgrades time. Jeff is great. He dyno tuned my drag car in Feb. 2025 and it ran great on the track. Then all of the sudden I had issues with the car, that were not caused by Jeff. I still called him for help and he helped me adjust the tune to try and get the car to go down the track. He did that while being so sick that he should not have answered the phone, but he did. Long story short the stator support failed in the transmission and caused all the problems. I wanted to give a shout out to everyone that if you need tuning etc. call Jeff first. He is a great and knowledgeable guy. Thanks Jeff for all your help.
