Horrible Customer Service. I wrecked my 2023 Tahoe purchased 10/29.2022 , on December 2nd, 2022 after hitting an industrial ladder that fell off another vehicle on the interstate 1 hour before I hit it that had not been cleared off the road. I had my Tahoe towed to Modern Collision Center of Burlington as I purchased the vehicle from Modern Chevrolet. At the time, I was unaware that the two businesses are 2 separate entities. While my experience at Modern Chevrolet has been excellent, I cannot and will not say the same about the body shop. It has been 6 months and I still do not have my vehicle back. I understand the supply chain shortage and timing issues. However the lack of service and communication has been detrimental and extremely stressful. I called "Andrea", who handles the claim on December 3rd to give her my information and let her know I had it towed to them the day prior. After inquiring about a suggestive timeframe for repairs I was told she would not be able to look at it for an estimate for at least 3 weeks due to employee shortages and employees trying to get their vacation times in before the end of the year. The second week in January I called back after not received any communication. Still no one had looked at it. Her response " I hope to get to it this week, I am so overwhelmed." I had to downgrade my rental vehicle covered by insurance 3 different times which ran out while waiting. While I was provided a "loaner car" by the body shop until repairs could be made the "loaner car had such a malodorous scent from being smoked in that I had to roll all the windows down to keep my 2 small children from vomiting in the car. The "loaner" also apparently has a faulty tire monitor sensor that I was told by "Andrea" to ignore and is due for an oil change as well. In the mean time, at my request my vehicle was taken to the business that installed my 3 inch lift, new tires, and wheels for repair while Modern Collision awaited parts. My service person at the other business had similar issues with communication with emails and phone calls and so my Tahoe sat with no service for another 3-4 weeks because the associate at modern collision over the repairs (Andrea) had not given the purchase order number or permission to purchase the parts needed to repair. I returned in person, which seems to be the only way to get a response and effectively communicate to find that she was still not back from lunch at 4:30 and was on lunch when I called at 2:30 and no one could seem to locate her. Another gentleman assisted me, and had to contact her on her personal number to get the ok, needless to say the "lift business" had to ask for the PO gain today. The tahoe needed to be towed back to modern today, associate at the lift business has again not been able to get anyone on the phone. I went by again at 3:30 and Andrea answered the phone for another person who then put me on to speak with her. She said she would call my "lift guy" and get him the PO, but that she would be unable to get the tahoe towed today and would have it there in the morning. Keep in mind this is 2 hours before they close and the other business is approximately 40 minutes away. In addition to this, my husband and I went together last week to check on the progress and she said it would be 43 hours of labor which you would think being almost 6 months ago would speed up the urgency to take care of your customers. Then after doing some calculations on her computer, she (Andra) informed me that it was more like 3-3.5 weeks of labor(time wise) and that's not counting paint and the windshield that apparently she forgot about and has not been ordered. When you are making monthly payments for a vehicle you cant drive due to procrastination and lack of customer service and urgency, bite your tongue and wait some more...........................

I wouldn't recommend this place to get your car repaired. I understand the reason for having my car almost 8 months due to supply chain issues. Andrea was my person, she didn't communicate effectively. I visited once or twice a week to be updated.i had some issues with the work. After getting nowhere with Andrea for an additional 4 months, I was done talking to her. I contacted the m6and he made it right Tjxs Jason

They replaced my rear bumper and muffler. Aside from a hanger that broke off on the muffler it's been fine. They reattached the hanger. However, if you go here do not deal with Dustin. He doesn't return phone calls. He doesn't show up for appointments that he makes with you. He also promised me some free touch up paint for my car because there were some paint chips after they pressure washed it. I've never gotten that paint after leaving him 5 voice mails. So as a company, they're okay. But Dustin is disappointing.

Don’t recommend at all. Replaced a broken spoiler on my wife’s car, took longer then they said. All kinds of new scratches on the car that wasn’t there. Dirty. Broken parts was left in back seat, which scratched my leather. I suggest you find somewhere else to do your work. UPDATE: 2 months later no call back, no email back no nothing. Going up there this week. Update number 3: still not response! Company sucks Update number 4: still no response. When you go in they tell your SM not in. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE PEOPLE!!!!

Pretty easy to deal with-I’ve been working with a woman named Jamie who answers the phone and answers her voicemails-they’ve been upfront keeping me posted. Sent me texts. Let me know exactly what I’m dealing with and next-door to the Rent-A-Car place. I’ve been very pleased I recommend them.

Stood in Thomas office on 11/27/2023with my insurance on the phone and was told to drop off my car today 1/2/2024 I called last week to confirm to be told Thomas was out sick and they couldn't read his handwriting to verify if I could drop off today or not. Called this morning to be told they didn't have me on the schedule, no paperwork from Progressive and they couldn't do it. I have a timestamp message from Progressive showing it was sent on 11/29/2023. I emailed Thomas the estimate and was told he had to get in touch with the supplier to see when parts would come in and call me back. I called other shops and found an awesome local guy that is working me in and told me that if I had dropped my car off at modern that he would have had to redo the work. Needless to say, I called Thomas and cancelled and will not be back.

At first they seemed very knowledgeable and we thought that Modern was the body shop we should use. They quit answering our calls and did not return messages. When we picked up our vehicle several safety systems, like lane departure, no longer worked. I had told them that I was concerned about those sensors when we left the vehicle with them initially. It turned out that they used filler in the bumper which disabled some of the sensors—the manual indicates that fillers cannot be used in the bumpers. We waited for them to contact us when the new bumper was ready—they couldn’t find the bumper that had been delivered by our dealer the previous week. It took all week from when we dropped the vehicle off for them to install the new bumper after they found it. My husband stopped in because they weren’t returning our calls—our vehicle was ready! Unfortunately, they couldn’t locate the key. We had also told them that our gas mileage had dropped significantly and that there was a noise coming from the rear end—they decided not to address those problems. We took the vehicle to the dealer and found out that the bearings had been damaged and needed to be replaced. If I could give them zero stars I would!

My car was side swiped and Modern Collision repaired the damage quickly. Turnaround was only a week and communication was good. The car was returned clean and fully repaired. I have no complaints. They even blacked the tires which was totally unexpected. I know it is a small thing but it shows they went above and beyond what was expected. This was my first experience with them and I must say it was a good one.

I always take my car to this collision center simply because they are well located and close to home, the staff is friendly and great customer service, Carolyn is always ready to help! She is terrific! I definitely recommend. Always note that good work does take some time, especially if you want everything to look like new.

These folks could write a master class in customer service. Dustin was wonderful; knowledgeable, mild-mannered, and kind throughout every interaction with me and my husband. The office staff was also sweet as can be and very attentive. Our car was ultimately deemed a total loss by our insurer but the team over at Modern Collision still managed to make every step of the process seamless and stress-free.

I have a 22 Kia EV6, and in Sept of 22 I get rear ended. I take it to modern and they proceed to deem it undrivable and so I had to get a rental car. I had the car for 2 months the 1st time they tried to give me back my car the left rear fender flare wasn't fully painted yet they still put it on the car, then the rear lift gate didn't work properly after there repair and it was working when I dropped off the car when it was wrecked so they keep it and finish painting the part and supposedly tried to fix the lift gate but it still doesn't work and found out earlier this year I found out that not only does my lift gate not work but it also doesn't lock either and the new bumper they installed is damaged from there instalation process since they didn't replace the lift gate or the rear section they just pulled back out and called it good. The worst customer service and work I have ever seen. They don't care either cause they have already been paid by State Farm. And State Farm doesn't care either.

Go anywhere but here. This place has NO communication, you have to constantly call and remind this place to do their job. This place lied to me for 2 months. I got my car towed in the beginning of January. Didn’t get an estimate till a month later. When I finally got an “estimate” they never sent it to my insurance & I had to constantly call Sandra multiple times to send in my estimate to my insurance which she never did. My car was supposed to be ready the 3rd week of February. That week I call to see if my car is ready and she tells me they’re still working on it, that it will be ready March 3rd. On February 24 she finally sent in my real estimate (was totally different than the first estimate) to my insurance and my insurance called to inform me that my car was totaled. I was shocked as I was told my car would be ready next week. Such a stressful situation she should’ve been honest from the start. I never leave reviews but this experience was horrible.

First, I WOULD recommend Modern Collision!! Jaime and the crew working on our 2023 Tahoe were honest and did an extremely wonderful job on our vehicle!!! The front needed body work to be completed. The aluminum hood had a small hand size dent/ripple on the corner!! The techs were able to save us money and fix the part. Thank you for repairing our vehicle to new condition!!!

My insurance suggested this place and I’m still dealing with issues over a year later. I’ve had to pay a couple grand to get things fixed they missed that put my family in danger cause they didn’t look at basic things. And if you rent a car take it back your self. My insurance was billed 14 days I actually had the rental 4 days.

How much time do you have? This was easily the worst experience I have ever had in my life. I brought my truck in because I hit a deer and it was mild damage to the front. The way my truck came out was so much worse than how it went in. They charged my $3,000 to hold my truck for a month and a half and put over 150 miles on it and claimed it sat at the shop the entire time. The tire rub on the front tires and front bumper was non-drivable. What was their solution? Without my, or my insurances' permission, they pulled the truck right back in the shop and SAWED MY FRONT BUMPERS OFF. And then handed it right back to me like that was acceptable and told me they didnt know what to tell me. They jimmy-rigged my front ABS sensor with no actual manufacturer parts and just electrical taped it together and first thing I was told is that I would "have to be careful when I'm turning the wheel at all" so as for that 'part' to stay in place. They never contacted me not a single time for a month and a half, I had to reach out to them every time and it was pulling teeth to get any answers. Did I mention over the month and a half they put over 150 miles on my truck? Someone was joy-riding my truck or using it as a commuter to work while I was without a ride and had to pay out of pocket to UBER to work because they also didnt deliver on a promise to get me an interim vehicle. These people have absolutely no clue how to deal with people, let alone your vehicle. If you care about your car AT. ALL. Do not dare put it in the hands of the folks at Modern Collision. Absolutely terrible. I cant say enough bad things about them. I got robbed of $3,000 and my truck came out way, way, way worse than it ever was before. If I can save anyone from going here, I will. Absolutely awful.
