Very unprofessional. Showed up late. Completely left me hanging the first day after pushing the time back three times. Then the next day he still arrives late. He charged 75 dollars for a “diagnosis” just go to autozone and get the code read for free. That’s essentially all he did. Waste of time and money wouldn’t recommend to anybody.

Service was great and he was quick and knowledgeable about the work being done. He even gave me pointers if I wanted to do it myself. Thank you for the great and quick service.

We broke down at a restaurant stop and I called Youngs discount auto mobile mechanics. They arrived in a timely manner and got us back up and running after replacing the starter. Great price and great service. Thank you for saving the day!

A very knowledgeable man. Was able to diagnose the issue quickly, getting me right back on the road. I appreciate reliable businesses like this, especially being stranded 1.5 hr from home. Definitely recommend him, was a huge pleasure to work with.

Diagnosed the issue and completed the repair in a timely fashion. He ensured I wasn’t overcharged for the previous created diagnosis. Great job

I should start off by saying I don't ever use these mobile mechanics, haven't heard much good and I do what I can myself. But this guy showed up on a holiday and in a timely manner. He was very knowledgeable and very polite. Did an excellent job and the price was definitely reasonable. Will be using him again in the future and I highly recommend him. Thank you again.

called this guy out of desperation because the shop I had my vehicle at was closed over the weekend, showed him detailed pictures of my issue, he said he could fix it and gave me a price, I agreed to it and a specific time for when he would show up. HE showed up over 3 hours LATE, had me waiting in the dark, every hour I texted him and got "almost there" "almost done", when he finally arrived? THE PART WAS WRONG, he then had to fly down the road to the nearest place open to buy the correct part and made me PAY HIM to get it. he comes back and guess what? the part is PARTIALLY wrong, he then tries to rigg it by DUCKTAPING the part that doesn't fit, mind you this is dealing with hosery where high pressure liquids are going through it, I asked him if this would work and not cause any complication, he said no, I asked him if this was a PERMANANT FIX, he said NO? Why would I pay you $175 to temperorarly fix my issue??? After he rigs the part up to work, I pay him and drive off only to have my car overheat and had to pull over down the road. I call him, he arrives to where I am, tries to fix it again, my car starts smoking, he then says my radiator, water pump or a slew of other things is broken, I drive it home, call a more RELIABLE mechanic who drove 2+ hours to help me because he believed this guy scammed me, shows up, takes out the part the old mechanic half-ass put in, the TAPE was partially sucked up into the hosery that could've blown my hole engine! after the new mechanic fixed it the right way, he did a diagnositc test on the other parts, nothing was damaged and NOTHING the old mobile mechanic said was wrong was true. DO NOT hire this guy, he will half-ass fix the issue, show up late, still charge you full price and potentially cost you an entire new car.

BEWARE: THEY MAY NOT SHOW UP. If I could give negative stars, I would. I read some of the reviews before calling, so I was prepared for them to be a few hours late — but I didn’t expect them to string us along for two days, pretending they were still coming, only to completely ghost us. Extremely unprofessional. And based on other reviews, this seems to be a known issue they’re making no effort to fix. My mom’s car broke down and wouldn’t start, so I called on Friday to confirm pricing for a diagnostic and to make sure they could fix the issue remotely without needing a shop visit. They confirmed both, and I told them I’d call back to schedule. (For context, this is my mom’s only means of transportation. She is at risk for losing her job if she has to continue missing work because of this issue — a stressful situation anyone who depends on their car can relate to. I was just trying to find someone who could check it out ASAP.) On Saturday, I called to set an appointment. It already felt sketchy when they just let me pick a time instead of offering specific availability, but I ignored my gut and booked them for 9:30 AM Sunday. They said “OK.” Sunday morning came and went. At 9:30, no one showed up. I got a text saying they’d be a “bit late.” I said OK. By 12:39, still nothing — so I texted again, asking for an update. They replied that they’d had an emergency but would be there by 2 PM if that was okay. I agreed. Of course, 2 PM came and went with crickets. I gave them the benefit of the doubt until 3, then called. A woman answered, apologized, and said they could come at 5 PM, weather permitting. We agreed, asking her to please let us know if anything changed. At 5:44, we got a text saying they wouldn’t be coming “after 5” (which wasn’t what we agreed to, we said AT 5) and offered to reschedule for Monday. Again, they let us pick the time — which, at this point, felt meaningless. Because it also feels meaningless to them. We said 9 AM, and they countered with 10:30. Fine. But you can probably guess how this ends: no show, no text, nothing. All of this could have been avoided with proper communication. If they were overbooked or unable to make it, that would’ve been fine — but why waste two full days of our time when we could have called someone else? I am expecting them to respond trying to turn the blame on us as they have done with other reviewers but we never cancelled the appointment, however, did let them know if they didn’t show for the rescheduled appointment we wouldn’t kindly have to go with someone else.

I had a great experience with Young’s Discount Auto Mobile Mechanic. They came out and fixed the solenoid on my 2017 Toyota Camry XLE, and the service was top-notch. The mechanic was professional, fast, and explained everything clearly. The price was very fair — only $150 for the repair — and my car has been running perfectly ever since. It’s rare to find honest, knowledgeable, and affordable service like this. I’ll definitely be using Young’s Discount Auto Mobile Mechanic agai

I’ll put it this way. I’m giving my mother and father the number for this business. Incredibly trustworthy, thoughtful, knowledgeable. Passionate and prompt. Intelligent enough to warranty his work as a1 man mobile repair team. A diamond in the rough

We are from out of state and were visiting my son at Elon. The morning we were set to leave, our Honda Odyssey was having trouble. I called at 8am and he came a few hours later to our air b&b. He diagnosed the issue and gave us a temporary solve so we could get home to have it fixed. Friendly, knowledgeable and good price. I highly recommend!

I hate having to write a negative review but I believe feedback yields improvement. So my feedback sandwich is as follows: he does great work, when he actually shows up. I’ve used his services 2x’s times before and my experience has been the same each time. He or his wife I think she is, will come to an agreed appointment time with you via text, but then they will show up HOURS late and most recently not at all. I’ve read over the reviews and it appears to be a pattern with them and there will be some excuse of another emergency or recently an illness of some sort; however I’m an ER RN and no one knows emergencies like I do! Prioritization and communication are key! He is very friendly, but unfortunately I doubt I will use their services again, which sucks as I try to buy black whenever possible.

I literally asked this guy to come over.I met his expectation for payment. He comes over, he literally takes apart my water pump. And then he put then he leaves the old water pump on, says, it's too late.Even though I called him early in the day.And he shouldn't shove up sometime late in the evening. And then he said he was gonna come over the next day.He doesn't show say he had a family emergency.I'm like, okay, fine? Then, the day after that there he still doesn't show up.Which is today? And he doesn't show up, he doesn't repair anything. And then to add insult to injury, he blocks me on his phone Update: give some big elaborate story about how he did some diagnosis.I'm the one that told him that needed a water pump.I already had the part bought and everything else and yeah, you came into my r.V, and we talked, and that was your own choice. And you probably could evolve ready.Fix the water pump with as much time you spend in my RV either way you came over, you took apart. My water pump, then you put it back together. Then, you claim it was too late. I mean, everything is time staffed in the pictures. It took you forever and a day to get out here. And even then you didn't do any work. None that was actually led to a conclusion of satisfactory. So yeah like stop messaging me. Except the fact you got a bad review and move on. Oh, and by the way, don't be using God as some turning the other cheat type thing? Because it's not a good look. People. Here's pictures of this weirdo, sending me weird messages and lying in the process to himself and as far as my wife goes, we waited three days. That's not being entitled. That's like especially someone to do what they said they were going to do three days

My Subaru’s dashboard warning lights lit up like Christmas tree on the last leg of our trip from Asheville to Durham. The helpful gentleman at the Graham Advance Auto Parts was able to diagnose it as a failed alternator, but at 5pm on a Friday evening wasn’t confident I’d be able to get it repaired before Monday. I googled open auto repair shops nearby and saw that Young’s was listed as open 24h, so I called, discussed my problem with Mr. Young, and he was so so helpful! He called the auto parts stores near me to find one that had the right alternator for my car in stock, told me the costs upfront, met me in the store parking lot, and had me fixed up and on my way again within 2 hours. An ordeal that could have derailed our entire trip was just a little blip due to Mr. Young’s prompt and incredibly helpful service. If I lived locally, I would absolutely be a returning customer, and I would recommend his services to anyone in the Graham area finding themselves with car trouble or in need of maintenance.

My guy got me right installing spark plugs and coil packs on my modified bmw 340. He’s the man, knows what he’s doing no matter what car you got. I’d recommend to anyone, as no one likes to wait at the dealership to wait for parts to be put on. He’s an absolute gent and had a great conversation while installing the parts. G-d bless and I will definitely give them a call for any future work.

2 stars but totally fixable. One word communication. Our car needed a new oil pan, so we scheduled an appointment for 11 am on Saturday. The mechanic quoted $225 for the repair via text message. He mentioned that he would arrive around noon, which was fine, but he didn’t show up that day. Around 4 pm, we reached out to ask if he needed to reschedule and if everything was okay. We ended up rescheduling the appointment around 6 pm that night for the following day. Day 2, he was scheduled to show up at 11 am, but he didn’t arrive until 7:10 pm. He tried to remove the drain plug for an hour, but he couldn’t do it, and he charged us $115 for that hour. We scheduled him to come back on Monday at 10 am, but the oil pan didn’t arrive until later in the day. We didn’t know what was going on because we weren’t informed about the delay. He finally arrived around 1:15 pm to finish the job. This job ended up requiring more labor than expected, which was no big deal. The big deal is that the mechanic didn’t tell us that extra labor was required and how much it would cost before doing it. The cost for the extra labor was $480, so the total cost for the job was $605. A one-day job that was quoted up to $225 turned into three days of waiting to pay $605. A proactive communication approach would vastly improve service!
