I dropped my vehicle off on Monday April 22nd to have some work done. Picked it up on Tues and the key fob was broken. The person there tried to fix it but ended up making it worse, I tried to get it rectified when I picked it up but Chet was not there so I paid the amount i was told. So I was told to call Wednesday when Chet was there and when I did he was not there so I called hrs later and he still was not there. Now it is Thursday and I called and no one answered so I went up there and talked to the same person I walked to before and he said that he talked to Chet and was told he wasn't going to do anything. I talked to Chet and he was very unprofessional and was not willing to fix the key fob that was droken/damaged while in his possession. I will never go back to him and I encourage others to do the same cause when he is trying to get your money he is your BFF but if something isn't done right and you try to talk to him about it, he shows his true colors.

This shop does great work at affordable prices! They are the best shop in the city. They fix everything which is hard to fix a shop that does everything many shops don’t get into engine diagnostic work they are a complete auto repair shop! The owner Chet and his staff are very honest and make you feel right at home!

I keep coming to them for the same job (coolant leak) .. there was no correction .. vehicle still leaking coolant.. and they try to charge extra on something they didn't have right the first time .. I've been back 3 times .. good customer service but not so good mechanics. $1600 spent job not complete yet!

The mechanics are honest and friendly. Always some laughs to be had in the waiting room while picking your vehicle up from service. Chet keeps things real and will not tell you to keep a car if it is in bad shape, he won't try to sell you a bunch of work that you don't need. Love these guys. 🥰

These guys are the best in Rochester! If you are fortunate enough to have them look at and fix your troubled vehicle then you are lucky. If you want the best you need to take your car here - truly the best!! I’ve had several cars fixed here and I can’t trust anyone else with my family’s vehicles. They always make time for you and they are experts. They are always courteous and kind. They explain every detail of what they are doing. There are no secrets with theses guys. They treat you like family and that is so rare these days. I don’t care where you are located in Monroe county these are your people when it comes to fixing your cars. Carriage House been working on my car for many years. I just recently relocated to a whole another states (the DMV area) and I never knew how much I will miss the car shop so much 😭 😢. In one week I saw about 6 to 7 mechanic and they seem so confuse 😕 . NY mechanic are cut from a different cloth so please 🙏🏿 dont take Carriage House for granted cause you will never run into another one of them again .
