My car was repaired in the fall of 2019. They were friendly and helpful, and communicated with me regularly with updates on the status of the repair. A year and a half later I had a concern about a small issue. They immediately took care of it, as well as some unrelated problems at no charge. The car was returned to me looking like new inside and out. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I took my Jeep Cherokee to Gerber through Geico after a single car accident where I scraped the rear driver's side door and back panel against a construction barrier and I am so pleased with their service. They were easy to coordinate with through Geico and with Enterprise for a rental car and provided great communication on the repairs, with update phone calls on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Overall the repair took about three weeks, which was very fast, in my opinion. All of the staff that I dealt with were friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Gerber and would use them again in the future.

This location was able to get me in right away when another location had put me off for 6 weeks. Kate was great! She took care of everything including working with my insurance company and arranging for a rental. She also kept me up to date through daily text messages. Terrible color match. Tired of looking at it. I'll have to take it elsewhere to get resprayed..Not only that, but they kept ordering the wrong parts, I literally had to comb over everything. Parts that they stated were "replaced" never were. Far from professional.

I would 100% refer people here. My door needed to be replaced and they didn't even forget to switch out the beam that projects the Mercedes sign on the ground. That is such attention to detail I am literally speechless. I thought forsure I would have to replace it myself, just wow 👌 Not to mention the office staff on Monroe are so personable and friendly, it makes it easy and comfortable.

They did an excellent job on my vehicle after someone struck its front end! They even went above and beyond and cleaned my vehicle for me as well & everything was taken care of through insurance, people communicated extremely well. I mean I don’t hope to go back because I don’t want my car to be busted up again, but if anything did happen I’d definitely recommend the folks at Gerber!! 11/10 job!

I had a misadventure with my car in mid November. It was towed into Bob Johnson Chevrolet, it was evaluated by estimator Kyle Proctor for Gerber. He called me with an initial evaluation with the caveat that there probably was more damage that would have to be evaluated once it went into the shop, sadly his prediction was spot on. As I was paying the bill he did everything he could to keep costs down. The estimated time for the repair was 2 weeks, which would have been after Thanksgiving. I figured that was about right. To my amazement I got a call that the car was ready a week early. I'm here to tell you they did such a great job you'd never know that there had been any damages. I highly recommend their work and their service. Especially, Kyle who made a very difficult situation a lot easier to handle because of his demeanor and professionalism. If you have a misadventure like I did take your car to Gerber, you won't be sorry. Thanks Kyle and the Gerber team at Lyell Ave. You're the best..

I would never recommend the Monroe Ave location to anyone, solely for the customer service. Waited 2 weeks just for the requested estimate to be sent to insurance and was constantly told that my parts were ordered when they actually had not been. I was given different and inaccurate information every single time I called. Finally after 4 more weeks I waited for them to call and tell me the parts were in but they never did. I decided to call again to check in and was told "yes they are here so we can schedule the repair". Safe to say I would STILL be waiting if I had not followed up 7 TIMES. Every phone call was answered by a rude receptionist, and she practically hung up on me when I asked for an update on when my vehicle would be ready for pick up. Finally I was able to pick up my car and the repair looked good. A woman named Mallorie was checking us out and when I asked for a copy of the paperwork she rolled her eyes and gave me an attitude. As I was leaving, she said to me: "And we will also be sending you a customer service survey to see how happy you were with our work. I really appreciate all 10's on that". Are you kidding me? This place is unorganized and the customer service is awful.

I really wanted to get my vehicle repaired with Gerber, when I spoke with Julia, i felt confident that they were going to take care of me so I brought my car in & the second I was handed off to Mallory, I instantly regretted coming here. Mallory was extremely unhelpful & rude everytime I spoke with her. The first time she looked at my car, it seemed like a bother. & from then on she told me she would be ordering parts & getting back to me, that never happened. In the meantime, I had questions about sourcing the parts & exactly what parts were needed. In a 3 week period, I called 3-4 times & was told Mallory would call me back and never did. I then called again today to let them know no one has returned my calls and was finally transferred to Mallory. I went on to ask my questions (supposedly my parts were supposed to be ordered by now, they were not) and when I asked my questions, Mallory talked to me in such an annoyance & rude tone like I was an idiot, I could not continue the conversation any further. For that reason, I decided I absolutely cannot move forward with this business after giving her multiple opportunities to make it right, she was just an absolutely unapproachable, unpleasant person to work with. I’m happy she never ordered the parts because I dreaded having to speak to her or ask questions about my own vehicle repair and I would’ve hated to be roped in any further.

This location exist in a delusion that its acceptable for people to wait 1-2 months to simply get their car properly looked at. If they're that busy they should hire more people or simply tell people to go elsewhere. The shop that we went to that was able to see us same day told us they often get the customers this location made angry. They should give them a Christmas card for all the free business they are getting courtesy of Gerber. I'm sure they're great once they manage to actually properly get your car in and looked over.

I highly recommend you go elsewhere to service your vehicle. This location, specifically Julia, lied to me on multiple occasions about the status of my estimate and blamed my insurance for the delay when they had my estimate the entire time as they work directly with Allstate. When confronted, they continued to lie, were extremely rude, and had no interest in making the situation right. A simple process has now turned into a huge inconvenience and I will be seeking a different garage as I am not confident in the service being provided at this location. I recommend going somewhere with people who value integrity and honesty.

They've had my vehicle for almost 2.5 months now, allegedly waiting on parts. The day before I was scheduled to pick up my vehicle they extended the pick up date by another 1.5 weeks. At this point it's 100% laziness and/or incompetence and I'm convinced this location lies about how long repairs will take. Worst experience I've had in my life with a collision center. As others have stated, take your vehicle anywhere but here. Update as of February: still don't have my vehicle after the 3rd date of completion has come and gone. New ETA is a month away. Four months for a repair. Absolutely mind blowing that this place is in business.

I did drive over someone's else's broken car piece from the overflowing dumpster when dropping my car off. But I am happy with thier service. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Communication was appreciated.
