Jeffrey called me today to let me know my car was ready to be picked up. He told me I needed to pay cash in the amount that my insurance company had pre-paid me. I specifically asked about this when I dropped off the car and no mention of a cash payment was made and I did not have the cash on hand. I spent 2 1/2 hours dealing with my bank and insurance company, the insurance company called the repair shop and both Jeffrey and the owner. Sam insisted that I had been told when I dropped off the car. Even the lady that took my money today understood that this was not true. I certainly have no problem paying by cash, but I was put on the spot because I wasn’t told when I asked over a week ago , the business doubled down on insisting I had been notified when I dropped off the car rather than work with me. I was treated very shabbily on the phone by Jeffery, and I have to assume he didn’t furnish Sam with an accurate account of our conversation.

I have used this Carstar Location for years, and I have never been disappointed in the quality of their workmanship or service I have received! This time I was in to have my front bumper repaired from a hit and run incident. Upon initial inspection it seemed like minor damage, but after getting into the job it was learned that there was unseen damage beneath the bumper. Although this was all Insurance related, the representative of this location (Sam's Auto Body/Carstar Carmasters) worked with my insurance company to complete my service to PERFECTION! Thank you.

This is everything that an excellent should aspire to. They are kind, professional and the work is absolutely top shelf. I interacted with the manager Jeff who was always patient and explained everything meticulously. In addition the young woman at the front desk Reese is personable, professional and really knows her job backwards and forwards. Having been in a motor vehicle accident this is a stressful and anxiety-provoking situation. These very kind individuals understand this and go out of their way to be decent and caring, in addition to that job. I will not hesitate to strongly recommend car Masters to anyone who needs their work.

Worst service, poor communication skills, would not recommend. Took 4 months and the car wouldn’t even pass inspection. All my safety equipment stolen. I took it to Chevy, never going back here. The one star is for the body work and paint. Those were decent.

Took my car in to get a mirror replaced, only to find there was more damage than originally thought, they took care of it in a timely manor. They also cleaned my car inside and out, and they followed up after I got my car back to make sure everything was still doing good. I am very happy with the service. I had taken my SUV in for a couple dents in the back. I had it back within the timeframe they said I would and the pricing was extremely reasonable. And to my surprise the inside of my car looked like it was completely detailed! It came back cleaner then when I brought it in. Hopefully I won’t need to have any more repair done in the future but if I do I will be using their service again and would highly recommend them. The staff is also very friendly and great to deal with.

This place was recommended to me by the AAA agent I spoke after my accident. While my vehicle was on their premises. An entire set of vehicle detailing and car cleaning products were stolen. My vehicle has been there since Feb 18. I've spoken to Jeff a handful of times on the phone and once in person. I had stopped by Saturday and found my vehicle unlocked, I locked it and closed all 4 doors. Yesterday when I went back a door was left ajar and I noticed my trunk had been ransacked. When I brought this issue to the lobby, I was told that nothing could be done and that it wasn't their fault, and that also it's happened to other people before. I don't doubt that they can do a great job repairing vehicles. But if you're like me, and you're going through your first car, first accident, you'll suffer unnecessary losses.

They looked at my car and took pictures of damages quickly and sent them onto the insurance company for repair approval. I'll add more after I get my car repaired. I received my car back, Carstar staff were incredibly efficient and professional during the entire time my car was being repaired. The end results are phenomenal, great job and the car looks fantastic. I highly recommend Carstar Carmaster to repair your automobile in the Event you should need it. Solid 5 ⭐ from me.

CarStar did an amazing job at repairing my vehicle back to the way it was before the accident. They do quality work and do not rush the job but are very conscious about returning your vehicle as soon as possible along with it being safe as it was before accident. I would recommend this shop to anyone especially if you’re in the Syracuse central NY area. I also would like to tank Jeff who is the person that stayed in contact with me through the whole process from start to end!
