This is the second time I've taken a car here and had nothing but excellent work and service done. Before it was body repairs this time is was a new bumper and lip. Unbelievably rude, patronizing, insulting and indignant attitude was all I received on a recent initial visit here. Had a severely damaged car repaired here over 15 years ago and was treated w/ professional courtesy and the work was top notch. Now, I understand that the son has assumed the business from his father. Not the same place. My experience couldn’t have been worse. When I requested a ballpark estimate of costs the response was, “Why do you care? It’s an insurance claim and you’re only gonna be out of pocket for the deductible.” Are you kidding me? I was floored this was coming from the Manager in the front office. He gave me no idea of cost whatsoever, no useful information. He then pushed me for an answer regarding choosing them to move forward on my claim. I told him I’d need a day or two to get back to him. He asked me, “Why?” I responded I was going to speak with one or two other shops. He asked, “Why would you need to do that?” My response: “Because it’s a good idea to do a little diligence when making the decision. It’s just good common sense.” His response, “Well, you’re thinking back 20 years ago and things aren’t done like that anymore.” Are you kidding me? From that moment forward, our exchange was less than cordial. Still can’t believe that this “MANAGER?” actually speaks to potential customers. City Auto Body? Never again if my life depended on it. I needed a side view mirror replaced. As soon as the part came and they called me and scheduled for an install. It was done in a couple hours. Plus l asked them to buff out a little something on my bumper and they did a great job-no charge. I'm an extremely happy customer! I would highly recommend CARSTAR!

CARSTAR city Auto Body has been all I could ask in professionalism and quality workmanship. From getting the estimate all the way to completion , I was met with daily updates on my car repair. All the staff I had the pleasure of working with were friendly and if I had questions, were answered immediately whether by phone or text. When my car was returned, not only was the repair beautiful, but as I stepped into my vehicle, I was pleasantly surprised on how clean the interior was even though I only had work done on the exterior. All the dust, crumbs caught in between the seat, cup holders etc was clean like when I first bought the vehicle. It was as if my whole car had also been detailed along with the bumper being fixed.

CARSTAR City Auto Body made a great experience out of a not so great experience. A little fender bender happened, and CARSTAR was an authorized Kia repair shop. I received daily updates of when my car would be done. It went a few days past the original return date, but again, they kept me well informed and I appreciated that most of all. Everyone at CARSTAR is super nice, professional and knowledgeable!

I wish I can give this place negative stars. I originally went to this place because my insurance recommended them. If I would of known the headaches this shop would bring I would've NEVER stepped near here. I picked my car up at 4:30pm (they close at 5) once I got my service done by them... I was happy... or so I thought... so I was blasting my music on my way out. It wasn't until I got home that I realized the plastic part under my car was DRAGGING the WHOLE WAY back home because the technicians were too lazy or untrained to do so much as a double-check on my car (this is something you notice the first time) I of course had to wait until the next day to contact them... leaving me unable to use my car for the rest of the evening therefore losing income. After going back & forth with this shop countless times (the manager is ANOTHER review but I'll keep it civil) I am still paying the consequences of taking my car to this shop. I've noticed little things months AFTER taking my car to this shop & I would love to have these items in my car fixed but I would hate to come back to this place!! I'm gonna have to pay out of pocket for this shops negligence on my vehicle. Do yourself a favor & DO NOT COME HERE.

Everything about my experience was great here. I loved that they already had seamless processes in place with the rental car company and the insurance company. I went out of town while my vehicle was being repaired and didn't have to worry about anything. Updates from Tony and staff, came via text although I could always call if I had immediate concerns, which there were none. My parents owned a very well known and respected paint and body shop over the years so I was a little nervous venturing out to someone new. Tony was great answering all my questions and concerns even the crazy ones. City Auto's painter was incredible. He feathered in the paint so well you can't see where the old vs new paint meets. I had an existing, small blemish on my paint near the damaged site and they went above and beyond and got that too. I had some add-ons like my chrome trim wrapped in black and it looks better than my original wrap. My car came back cleaner than when I left it too! Thanks everyone for a great experience. Highly recommend!!!
