I've tried giving this company a chance of redemption, but owners don't appear to want to respond, let alone resolve. Bought a chain from here, service installed than they drove it in parking lot and immediately broke the clutch push rod. Mechanic said I was lucky I was still alive, that it was a bout to break, but I didn't trust them. While I was sitting and waiting, I got worried cause I overheard them making up previous mistakes to a customer. So I get a uber, hotel, and rental to drive back home to TN. Than I spent gas money driving back and forth with truck and trailer getting her back home. I didn't even ask for reimbursement for these, just labor and parts, and almost two weeks later I'm still feeling pushed aside from owners. Christie has been very responsive and I appreciate her efforts. Tyler and Nolan were also kind and helpful during conundrum. It took almost two weeks to get parts, but in hindsight I should of messed with bike sooner. Mechanic had installed chain without sizing it up. Chain was two links too long and even with axle all the way back, the chain was visibly too loose. It's baffling that you pay $125 an hour for mechanic work and they don't even know how to install a chain properly. When I called, the mechanic said he thought it was tight enough. You are supposed to use a tool to measure the slack in the chain, based off the bike. This clearly wasn't done and the bike should of never been driven with that loose of a chain. Your "mechanic" broke my motorcycle, and I don't believe he was naive to the fact because looking back, he was being super nice telling me he'll give me discount on labor and that I can pitch my hammock underneath stairs. It was undoubtedly the actions of someone who was guilty. Updated: Fifteen minutes after posting review, I had received a call from Christie and than immediately a call from Drew, who I assume is a owner. Talking with Drew was almost as frustrating as paying for a obvious non certified mechanic. He tried to blame his unresponsiveness on his employees, but I have more faith in Christie forwarding my emails than him actually caring a bout me and all the stress and inconvenience his dealership brought. After his "investigation" all he talked a bout was the review. He didn't comprehend that installing the chain with the axle all the way back meant his mechanic had no right to be touching my motorcycle. There was no admittance to fault, no apology and didn't pay for all expenses (uber, rental, gas). His reasoning to not pay for those expenses is I could of stayed the night and they fix it the next day when the parts had at least a five day wait to be shipped. When picking up motorcycle to take back home, the mechanic tried talking me into gerryrigging it, which was a horrible idea and I hope the owner of the dealership wasnt suggesting that was the right move. Thanks for at least paying for a little over half the cost (~$350 for parts and reimbursement) but considering I literally asked you to stop talking a bout the review, and you continued to do so, you will also continue to have one star. Mechanics not knowing how to do a simple chain swap is NOTHING to be proudful. You didn't even ask for receipts, you just rushed to "solve" the issue when all you did was add wood to the fire. We both know I wasn't ever coming back, but now I will speak the truth anytime I hear your name. Such a shame cause your staff in whole were super kind and friendly, and if they happen to not tell you of the issue, I understand why cause Good Lord.. You need work on your customer service

I’ve got better things to do than leave a negative review, but this place lies. Be weary of what the salesmen and managers “tell” you while there. At the time of purchasing, there were things not right with the bike I bought. They told me they would be remedied. A month after purchasing, they started the process, but that was only because I called weekly to remind them. They promised things there that weren’t true and they lied about saying them once the paperwork was complete. Luckily I had a text confirming my issue from a salesman(who no longer works there because of “bad business”). GET IT IN WRITING. They never fully fixed the issues I had. I was interested in trading in for something different. Their “I’ll give you a heck of a deal on your trade in” from a manager was 40% less than what I bought the bike for a month ago. I asked for something in writing the next time I was in, and the manager refused saying “that’s just how the business is”. Not sure if they are misinformed or lying, but I was told information that wasn’t correct about the bike I bought also.

I was contacted by one of their salesmen on market place for them to buy my cam am x3 we agreed on a price they said they’d definitely buy it I loaded it up in the rain drove 1.5 hours to them for them to say they didn’t wanna buy it for the agreed upon price. they were concerned of some potential damage. I asked to be compensated for my time wasted and fuel etc and was accused extortion when I told them I would be making a negative review. I don’t like my time wasted as does no one else

Bought a small ATV last week and realized I had a $700 third party service contract on there. Which I knew I had one but not the cost (which I will take fault as I was trying to watch my three year old the entire time we were there). However, I called on Friday to ask if someone could call me back about canceling the warranty as I don’t feel we will ever need it. No response. Sent a message on Facebook on Saturday. No response. So basically the way that I’m understanding this is - once they get your money, the customer service stops there. I wasn’t asking for THEM to refund me my money. I simply just needed help understanding the warranty cancellation process. We had considered purchasing a second ATV for our kids but definitely won’t be purchasing it at Central Kentucky Motorsports after this. Do better.

I bought a brand new moped from them. First owner. I'm an idiot for not getting a warranty but the price was half of what I spent on the moped. The 30th day it stopped working. I had it towed in, they put a new carburetor and battery in. I left and noticed it didn't feel right and ended up in the hospital, only reason it was out of the shop as long as it was. Rode it maybe a total of 8 miles, it died on me again. Had it towed in. They said it was the battery that they did replace but I still had to pay for half the tow and labor I wouldn't of needed had the battery been fine to begin with. Otis tried to blame me that I must've done something to make the battery die. I picked it up and brought it back two minutes later because it didnt sound right but they assured me it was fine. I parked it for a week because I don't trust driving it anymore. I needed to use it and I have for about 5 days and now the sound it made the day I picked it up its making and doing what it does right before it dies. I won't be taking it back to keep giving them my money. They either sold me a bad bike to begin with or aren't fixing the actual problem. They fixed a tire on an electric scooter of mine and it popped again after about a week. Could've been the scooter, could've ran over something. Common denominator: everything I take to them isn't ever fixed and I've wasted more money. I bought the moped around 7/15/25, I probably got a month and a half out of it (just to and from work a total of 4 miles a day) and the rest it's either been parked or in the shop.

Absolutely terrible place. “Tire sale” but the tires alone cost more than what I had the same one mounted and balanced for last year at etown powersports!! Jacob priced the tires. I have paperwork from etown powersports with the total being $301.57. Mounted and balanced brand new road 6. Then I wanted a used MT-09 they had but they won’t cut you any kind of deal whatsoever and tell you to go somewhere else if you don’t like it. Salesman name is Tyler. Used to like the place but nope! I’ll stick with etown powersports

If this review was based solely on the buying experience it would have been a 4 or 5 star review. The true nightmare with this unethical greedy business began a few weeks after purchase. They are very courteous and pleasant when making a sale and taking your money. But the customer focused business model ends there. I am a 55 year old retired Army First Sergeant who arrived in Kentucky in early January to start work at Baptist Hospital here in Lexington as a traveling Radiology Tech. Renting a house only 2 miles from the hospital I thought an inexpensive motor scooter would make for a good commuting solution. Found Central Kentucky Motorsports on a local google search. Visited their showroom and found a $1700 TaoTao Pilot 150cc motor scooter that I thought would work well. Made the purchase that day and had a pleasant buying experience. Also purchased a moderately priced helmet (very glad I did) and riding gloves. The bike was fully assembled and the only thing I did was put gasoline in the tank. I made no modifications or attempted any mechanical services. The bike ran well, and I was very pleased with how it handled. I made 4 round trips to the hospital over the next week and a half pulling the bike into the same fourth level parking garage parking spot to the left at the top of the ramp. On my 5th trip at 7:30 AM I arrived at the fourth-floor parking garage and all the parking spots to the left were full. Traveling at 5 mph or less I turned the bike to make a hard right to enter an inner deck parking spot and the bike jumped to full throttle with no input from me. I was accelerated into the concrete parking deck wall at an unknown high rate of speed. I went headfirst into the wall and was rendered unconscious and suffered a concussion, broken left big toe, nerve and ligament damage to my right hand. I approached Central Kentucky Motorsports about the bike malfunction in the hope they could find the source of the fault and replace the bike or refund the purchase. There are only two possible options to what happened that morning either operator error or the bike malfunctioned. I contacted hospital security after I was released to see if they have security cameras on the fourth floor of the parking deck and they said they did not. For an operator error it would mean I was either inexperienced (I have 40+ years' experience riding motorcycles and dirt bikes), intoxicated (I don't drink and it was 7:30 AM and I was arriving for my hospital shift) (also the hospital ran a blood screen for drugs/alcohol as part of protocol) or I was reckless (I was driving at a very slow rate of speed). I am 100% certain that the bike malfunctioned. I just do not know the origin or cause of the malfunction. The person at Central Kentucky Motorsports that I sat down and spoke with about the bike was the day manager Logan. He seemed to be listening to everything I was telling him about the incident. I provided him copies of the police report on the accident, showed him the medical records for my stay and brought the bike to the service department to have them inspect it for the cause of the malfunction. I left the bike with them and Logan told me that he would contact me after he spoke with the owners on how they would address the issue. Logan called me a few days later and said that he had huddled with the other managers and owners, and they had decided that there was no way to prove that the bike malfunctioned or that what I was telling them was the truth. They offered me an employee discount on a new purchase. This was beyond offensive to me, first that I was basically being accused of lying when I was nothing but honest from the start. I was never attempting to secure any form of payment for my injuries or lost work time although I felt I was 100% entitled to from a product liability standpoint. I believe their motives are even worse than that. I think they did believe me but that I had no way to prove that the bike malfunctioned. They have no morals and burned me for a $1700 scooter.

All I can say is Tony is amazing! I have bought a dozen or so bikes in the last few years and Tony’s service specifically was second to none. There was no pressure, simply two people talking about motorsports until I landed on the one that suited me best. In addition to this he was able to work around my hectic schedule to make sure there was no wasted time or problems during the transaction completion. I would give more stars if I could! Will definitely be returning for all of my service work!!!

Had several services here over the years. Some were fine, but the last couple have been terrible. Oil and fluid change service was done on a KTM and they misplaced the brake bleed valve cover. Never got that back. Had the brake pads and tires done and immediately got an ECU error as I was leaving. Mechanic wiggled the wire harness around and told me it was fine. No one noticed that after the service was done? Front brakes functioning are kinda important to me. Also, when they swapped the wheel balancing weights they just ripped them off, leaving glue all over the rims. Headlights started flickering and the new battery died a few days later, leaving me stranded. Had it in for an electrical issue and spent over a week without them looking at it, and when I called was told, "We had a bunch of parts come in for bikes, and we wanted to get them out the door so we didn't look at yours." Thanks for wasting my time Ubering back and forth for that. Had it in for the same electrical issue, and when I got it back they'd left all the bolts out of the rear fender/license plate holder. Fender fell off in traffic. Found some of the bolts rattling around under the seat. Their response was, "Well my mechanic said he didn't do it, so I believe him. You can come get more bolts if you want." Apathy and incompetence are a dangerous combination. *After the owner reached out to apologize and offered to make up for previous bad experiences, I did a stupid thing and came back. Brought my bike back for the same issue they didn't fix any of the previous times. -Didn't touch it for 3 weeks. Spent a day repeating diagnostics that had already been done, and that I told them I'd already done. After a month they called the manufacturer who told them what the problem was. Tech mangled my starter button, and service manager never ordered a replacement. Told me he didn't know anything about it when I came to pick it up a month later. Fried oil temp sensor working on it, and told me it must have been like that when I brought it in. Absolute nightmare dealing with these people. Sales department is seems fine though.

I purchased a new Zero Motorcycle from the dealership. Tony in sales spearheaded the process along with Logan. The experience was excellent from start to finish. Very easy to do business with from out of state. In addition, the best pricing and I did my research. No haggling, just the best pricing without a bunch of add-ons. Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!!

Bought a demo Segway villain from Cameron and it was a great experience. First Powersports purchase and went smoothly. They helped with financing, and answered almost all my questions. Parts and service even stayed 2 hours past close to put on my accessories so I didn’t have to make the almost 3 hour drive back without it. Highly recommend.
