Want to publicly thank the team at Smoky Mountain Truck & Jeep Outfitters of Lexington, KY . . . Here’s Why !! 12/09-12/12/24 - Was in town for business and unfortunately the night before I was to head home my Jeep JK was struck by another vehicle. I was referred to SMTJO by a co-worker and reached out to inquire about getting the front suspension assessed on a Thursday afternoon. On the phone was told - NOT A PROBLEM - BRING IT IN, WE’RE HERE TILL 6PM ! When I arrived, Corey immediately introduced himself and asked how he could assist me. I explained I called earlier regarding a suspension inspection. Corey contacted one of his team and had the Jeep pulled into a bay. 1.) The SMTJO team assessed the suspension damage, listed out parts, and gave me multiple options regarding repairs (due to me being out of my home state and needing to travel back). 2.) Corey personally walked me back to have the mechanics show me the damaged parts and explain fixes from a minimum needed to get home up-to a full complete repair to ensure zero safety concerns. 3.) Corey then reviewed all parts in their inventory system were in house and available - quoting me the financial side of the repair options. All that said - I opted for the comprehensive repair as my drive would be several hours and several hundred miles home. 4.) Corey recommended a nearby hotel where I was able to book a room online & the man actually offered to drop me off there after closing the shop up. THAT’S CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU JUST DON’T SEE THESE DAYS! I returned to the shop Friday mid-afternoon to wait while repairs were wrapped up. I am a 40 year retail sales / service and also have consulted for 24 years to businesses for retail operations, sales, service, and asset protection. I observed Corey assist another customer by having his team repair her tire puncture for free to get her safely back on the road. The inventory levels for aftermarket items is extensive with good enough in-stocks I would drive back to Lex to browse and buy! Top Notch Service from all the SMTJO staff I interacted with - great people !! Take your Jeep and Truck needs to this team! Highly Recommend ✌🏼

HORRIBLE! Customer is always wrong and the owner Barry thinks his words are profound but when he finishes his statement it is hard not to laugh at the ignorance. While I was there he openly spoke ill of his customers once they left as well as his own employees. Treated 2 female customers as if they were ignorant whe they were asking questions about purchasing products for their husband's. Once customer left he proceed to bad mouth them. Tried to charge extra on top of quoted price of a remote start without letting me know. While I was sitting in the store by the counter the whole time. After wasting my whole day listening to him degrade customers and employees then he tried to uncharged saying there were lots of wires in the dash and compared it to a doctor opening up a patients stomach. Completely ignorant. NEVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS MAN.

I initially brought my vehicle here for them to install an and new door hinges for my front driver side door after setting there for seven hours in the store closing before I got to pick up my vehicle. Come to find out that they installed the door hinges on the wrong door and the radio did not play any audio after having to wait till the next day to complain I got to speak with the people that actually worked on the vehicle a gentleman named Scotty, who installed the radio repeatedly cussed me and told me I was an idiot and that he installed the the correct which after speaking to the manufacturer of the radio he did and then speaking to the other gentleman that installed the door hinges, he insisted that he installed them on the even though I sent him photographic proof showing that it was not. I didn't had to call three times to get an employee to give me to the manager. Who told me if I brought my vehicle up, they would fix it immediately and I wouldn't have to wait after sitting there for 4 1/2 hours watching them only work on my for 30 minutes. They then gave me my keys back and let me I strongly that you do not come here unless you want the rudest customer the worst maintenance all at a very expensive and don't want to deal with Scotty. I've never had anyone in a business treat me so poorly. Just to update this review the owner saw it and immediately called my phone and my mother and cussed us both out that is the kind of people you’re dealing with if you go to this establishment complete and total unprofessional and my jeep door is still broke so had two chances and still didn’t fix it right

Every time I go to Smoky Mountain Truck & Jeep, I'm nothing short of amazed at how knowledgeable and helpful the staff is. I had the privilege of speaking with Barry each time I've visited them. They installed a hidden winch about a year ago and recently installed a 3in Readylift lift kit on my 2022 Bronco. The winch looks and works great and the lift kit definitely enhanced the looks of my Bronco. I can't wait to get it off-road again to see how well it performs vs my last off-road experience. As far as city driving goes, besides sitting higher, everything performs just as it did before the lift, like factory. What really impressed me was their concern of my safety as well as the safety of my Bronco. They wouldn't release the vehicle to me until after everything was back in alignment and tested. I can't say much more than this place is awesome and I'd recommend them to anyone. Thanks for a job well done!

This is what they fixed. I bought a light bar from them and I thought that it would be a while before they could install it. I took it to Woodford Automotive in Versailles Ky. This is what they did. I drove on the highway 🛣 without brake and tail lights. I had my son with me. Smokey Mountain ⛰️ fixed everything 🙌 in one day. I didn't have an appointment. I would recommend them to anyone who wants the job done right ✅️. Also you can purchase something the same day and have it installed.

We purchased a bed cover for our Silverado in 2019. A few weeks ago one of the clips that fastened the shocks to the cover broke. We stopped in and were greeted and helped within a few minutes. Within 20 min we were fixed and on our way. AND instead of just fixing the one, they went ahead and replaced the other side as well. Thank you guys so much!!!!

Took my 2021 Jeep Wrangler to these guys because it was drifting all over the road. It has been lifted and has 35” tires. I bought it used so I do not know who done the lift. The reason it was drifting is they had not installed the control arm relocation arms. These guys installed the arms, done an alignment and it stopped the drifting. They done this while it waited in a very timely fashion. Cost was very affordable. I do highly recommend these guys. They know what they are doing.

Let me begin this review with that Tommy is that that guy! Brought my truck in for an alignment and the techs brought other issues they noticed to my attention and explained them thoroughly. All of the work was completed the same day and the truck now drives and stops like new. Highly recommend these guys and Tommy for any truck needs at reasonable prices. Thank you guys!
