Had to stop in the other day due to an aluminum valve cap that wouldn't come off. Valve stem needed to be replaced and the tech wad able to do so quickly. Tech even took the time to replace the caps on the other tires to avoid the same issue. Very kind and helpful.

They were all really courteous and willing to help. I recommend this business for the simple fact that they were willing and able to help me and I had great interactions with everyone.

Overall kind staff, the lady that worked at the desk may have been having a bad day since she seemed to have a little attitude. Took my car in on Friday for an oil change, they didn’t call me to say they weren’t going to get to it just kept my car through the next day. Saturday at 4:30 they called me and said multiple people tried to open the hood and couldn’t and that I would need to take it to a body shop. I got home and opened the hood easily. So Sunday morning at about 9:30 I went back and showed them how to open it, they apologized and offered me a discount on the oil change but when i said I needed it back by 4pm for work I was told that they “couldn’t guarantee that.” So, at the end of the day they had my car for 24 hours but they did not end up performing any service for me and I went to a Valvoline instead. Nice people, just maybe understaffed and under-skilled.

Great customer service. I went in with a busted tire from a pot hole. Despite being extremely busy and short staffed, Nick was able to get me in and back on the road. I highly recommend this store. This is my go to now.

They took care of me and my situation from the time I walked in until I left. They address my concerns before I even asked them my concerns/questions! Even offered options so I didn’t have to wait longer to even look to address an issue I would have later after I left… increased the tire pressure to prevents cold weather tire pressure indicators and having to add air later! Hate off to them… with this kind of serving, why go anywhere else! Stephen

Front office staff is clueless, they will give a wildly inaccurate price estimate while scheduling appt. Any additional repairs are unreasonably expensive. They called me with a price for a caliper repair. It was extremely high but I agreed to it. They then called me back later and told me they forgot to include the ~$250 part in that price, but they told me a new price that was over $400 higher. Not sure if they’re lying on purpose, or just have no idea what they’re doing. Their master tech Stan was working on my vehicle. He was very helpful when I spoke to him on the shop floor. He did good work and was able to explain issues that the office staff mis-explained to me. Overall I won’t recommend this shop.

Great experience at this location. They worked with my schedule and the whole experience was very positive. Got my tire that had a nail in the sidewall replaced quickly even with having to order one. Two days later, another tire went flat due to a faulty valve. They got that repaired quickly while we waited. Nick was friendly, sympathetic and professional. He extended the same great service to others that came in while we were waiting. I highly recommend the Louie Place Ken Towery location in Lexington, KY!

I saw a online offering for a set of 4 tires, good price; made a reservation for the following day and followed up with phone call to confirm. I was told that tires would be ordered and present by the appointment. They weren't, but was given a name and phone number to call for the next day. I did so, but was again put off to another day. Now we are into the next week. The manager who was said to have the solution replied that the tires originally advertised didn't come in the size needed but (here comes the bait- and- switch) here's a deal on some external tires that we have in stocks and here's the discount we can offer. $300+ more than the original deal but okay. Final price still another $24...

I i’ve had poor experiences from this location in the past, but I am glad that I went back today. Tejas ghadaiali is bringing back something that sorely missed in our society and that’s customer service. He was polite and friendly and worked efficiently to satisfy not only my needs, but the needs of the other customers that were at the store as well. He seemed to have a good relationship with the technicians who were also working diligently and above all else was fair and honest, I will return and bring my business because of this gentleman.

I was out of town and needed my brakes checked due to a noise. The website said open until 7pm and gave me the option for a free brake consultation at 6 or 6:30pm. Instead of calling me prior to the 6:30 appointment I made online, I was told upon arrival that they didn’t take appointments past 5pm for a brake change. I explained that it was only for a brake check and I couldn’t get there until almost 5. They made me an appt for the next evening at 5. Upon arrival (prior to 5), the lady at the desk tried to reschedule me again and was very rude. Over an hour later, they said they had me done. They tried to charge me $118 for an oil change. I told him I wasn’t there for an oil change, I had one the Saturday prior. My sticker was on my window. I was told to “enjoy the free oil change”. Incredibly rude and inconsiderate of your time.

Trustworthy, the kind of place you go to that when they tell you you need something, YOU NEED IT... not more, not less. No Sales pitch " this is what your air filter looks like." It look like I need a new air filter! " You need it keep an eye on this and this, you are in yellow territory." And you better believe that I understood then, that I need to keep that in mind!! What's more important than the fact that they just turned my business, is that they earned my respect.

Wife’s car had a flat tire. Store was really busy but Nicholas was able to fit us in. Luckily, the flat was caused by nail & was easily fixed. Store techs checked & saw tires hadn’t been rotated lately. With our approval, they rotated tires too. We feel they sincerely care about our vehicle beyond just the service income. Good folks. Reasonable prices. Positive advice. Buy the road hazard warranty because there seems to be more junk on the highways.

Went there to get this tire replaced and they completely put a new tire on the other side that didn’t need to be change said they rotate all tires if they did they would of obviously seen that the tire needed to be replaced was this one not the other one if I could rate zero I would don’t recommend them

I went in for an oil change. The mechanic followed up with info that my battery was shot. He could replace for $550. That was too much. Most important though. Although the sidewalks were cleared of ice and snow, there was a wide apron around the sidewalk of ice. I couldn’t get to the front door.

I will go out of my way to go to another location, just to avoid this one. I arrived Thursday at 5p with a tire that was leaking air. After being ignored for about 5 minutes, I was rudely turned away, told they were too busy by a woman at the front desk. I was given no other options - like "Let me see if one of our other locations can fit you in" - nothing. I came back Friday at 3p, same woman behind the desk. She ignored me for about 10 minutes. A man from the service area saw me and came out and asked if I'd been helped. I said no. She audibly sighed and glared at me. She has been audibly passing gas, grunting, and belching as well. I'm sorry, but there's just too many other places to go in Lexington or this type of service...I'd rather not have someone be rude or be grossed out. I've witnessed her be rude to every customer that's walked through the door. I'm giving this a 2 due to the service tech - he was great. I'd give him a 5 by himself. The fact of the matter is that no one is ever happy when they walk in to a tire store - ever. The customer service doesn't even need to be good - it just shouldn't be 100% horrible.

I went in for something in my front tire. Ended up being a nail and it couldn't be fixed. Nick told me I really needed 4 new tires. I knew it was getting close and since I needed one if he was giving me a good deal would get all four. Thought he gave me a good price so we did all 4. While I waited I went outside and fell on Ken Towerys ice covered side walk and hit my head. After I got the car I went straight to the Er. When I got home 4 hours later I discovered I was missing 3 Gmc log nut covers on 3 tires. I called Nick at the store and he went looking for them. Ended up they were not in the shop. He told me he would take care of it and I have heard nothing. They also didn't put caps on the tire valves. If you can't put the hubcaps on correctly or put caps on the tire valves what else wasn't done correctly. 2/20/26 -Follow up -They have replaced the gmc covers and corrected everything. Did a great job. Thanks Nick.

My car suddenly lost coolant and I was fortunate enough that Ken Towery was less than a mile for me to be towed to. Everyone at this Ken Towery location were all incredibly nice and helpful. They were very fast with getting my car repaired and back to me in a day! The price was pretty expensive $656 to have a hosr replaced/coolant added/diagnosed (family of mechanics here), but considering they 'saved my bacon' so to speak on my car, I consider myself very fortunate that is all it was!

This place is incredible! The customer service is unmatched, and they will help you in anyway they are capable of. Pooped a tire and stressed about it all day at work. They got me in at 5:30, and changed my oil, and did a check on my car. Didn’t add anything, just helped me out tremendously and were unbelievable nice. Tajus the manager is an amazing person, and Casey is an amazing mechanic. I cannot recommend more! 5 stars and will be getting all my service done here in the future!
