You won't regret going here. Besides myself, I won't let anyone but Jesse and his guys touch my vehicle. They are not only highly skilled, but trustworthy. They strive to earn your business with their incredibly reasonable prices and advice they provide you with. Chaney's Automotive is unlike any other shop, that's why myself and my family will only bring our vehicles to Chaney's. I cannot describe enough how great of an experience its been from start to finish. Very laid back and easy to talk to. Customer for life. Never met any mechanic who treats a customer's vehicle like it's truly his own. I tell everybody about this place now, and you will too. Thanks to Jesse and his team, I went from having to sell my car to keeping my car for a lifetime.

I received multiple quotes for my car that were very high end, Jesse was absolutely reasonable & he made quality time of the job as well. Most shops quoted my car out for 3-4 days even tho book time was 4 hours. Jesse cares about the job he does & as well he is not ridiculous with pricing. The most honest mechanic in town, by far. Chaney will treat each vehicle as if it were his own, ensuring safety and reliability. When our Subaru needed a complete block rebuild, Jesse walked us through the best, financially reasonable options. The car is running beautifully, we are following his instructions to a T, and will be returning for service. There is no one else is town that we will allow to work on it from here on out! Great service for a great price! I've never had a problem and I always get my car back within a timely manner! My car broke down earlier this week and I wasn't sure what was wrong with it. Jesse was able to get it checked out, fixed, and returned back to me by the next day. And he didn't charge me a ridiculous amount like some shops do. Jesse is a genuine & trustworthy guy & I will continue to come to his shop for good service! 🙂

Phenomenal service: honest, affordable, sincere, and efficient. My car (2005 Acura TL) had been making a loud metallic rubbing sound every time I turned the steering wheel both ways and it wasn't fixed with some added power steering fluid. I called around to a few places, Chaney's Automotive being one of them. Jesse answered the phone and told me to bring it by and he would tell me what was wrong with it and whether it was safe to drive on. After looking at my car, he said the lower ball joint on the driver's side needed to be fixed and that I should try not to drive on it since it was metal on metal and told me what would happen if it wasn't fixed. He gave me a quote, showed me what the price breakdown was, the type of parts he would use (Japanese make) and told me if I did drive on it to not go more than 35mph. Jesse didn't have time to get to it that day, but told me he could fit me in on Wednesday (3 business days later). I went to another shop down the road (Patriot Automotive) and they quoted me about $200 more. I brought my car back to Jesse that Wednesday. When I picked it up the next day (didn't have a ride to take me until that Thursday), he explained what he did and used another car that he had on the lift to illustrate. He also mentioned to me that he noticed my breaks were wearing down. He said they had a few months left and that I should bring it in whenever I start to hear a screeching sound when breaking. Ever since bringing it home from Chaney's Automotive, my steering has been as smooth as butter! I haven't had problems with it since. Thanks Jesse, appreciate your advice and services.

I actually will give chaney's automotive 10 stars if there was an option! I have purchased 2007 Subaru legacy  from jesse at chaney's automotive , and each time my experience has been exceptional. He goes above and beyond to make sure  i am satisfied with my purchase. Some issues came up after i drove off from his shop but jesse will go above and beyond to make things right, even though the car comes with very minimum warranty. I have never experienced such friendly, exceptional service! It's always a pleasure to speak with his cousin at the shop. I will refer anyone looking for a used Subaru to chaney's automotive and will continue to patronize them for all my Subaru needs. They are top-notch!

Most women are at a real disadvantage when it comes to repair shops! Not with the owner Jesse at Channeys! Jesse actually took the time to explain to me the engine problem, he actually did it while he was working on the car, showing me the broken and the new part and a little about how it worked in the engine! He had my rig in and out before other shops could even get to it! He is one of the most real, down to earth, and kind person I have ever met. The price he quoted me was the price I paid and it was much less than two other shops I called for a quote. I will continue to support this honest locally owned business and Jesse with all my future automotive repair needs!

My vehicle probably had an issue with the head gasket, but I needed to know the source of the problem. After calling about 30 mechanics in town, Jesse not only had availability same day (which was lucky) but was able to quote me about half the price that other shops were estimating. On pickup, Jesse explained to me what he did, work I could anticipate in the future, and also what my vehicle did NOT need, somewhat rare for a mechanic. I'll recommend Chaney's Automotive to everyone I know in town.

Life can get pretty full and overwhelming at times, and so I am sorry to say this review is overdue. But it is also from the heart, and I hope that makes up some for my late start on it. So this is me here to say that I have never been treated with more fairness and respect and kindness at a business than at Chaney’s Automotive. They aren’t fancy. They don’t have a little lounge with a TV and free coffee. They just have honest, good-hearted, and very capable people working there, who understand how crucial it is to get your rig fixed and get it fixed right, so you don’t have your life turned upside down any longer than it has to be. To give you an idea of what I mean: The owner worked years ago for the used car lot that sold me a car in the summer of 2024. As an independent shop, he still did some work for them on occasion when their own mechanic was too busy to handle every car on the list for inspection or repair. Unknown to me at the time, Chaney’s owner looked over my car not long after I bought it, on one of the many times I brought it back to the dealer that summer with major issues cropping up. As he told me later on, he quickly realized that my motor was toast. As per his usual practice with this dealership, he not only called and informed them that the motor was shot, but wrote in big letters across the windshield, “AUCTION.” The used car lot knew the car was within the “lemon law” grace period. So rather than informing me about the and offering to exchange it for another vehicle or to replace the motor, they scraped the word “AUCTION” off the windshield, called me to say that a sensor had been replaced and the car was “fixed,” and sent me home with it. I’m not going to go into all the heartbreaks and massive expenses of the next few months. I’m just going to say that the only time in the whole saga that I had any lasting relief or hope was when I ended up at Chaney’s. The owner recognized the car, told me the truth, and I swear, was almost as on fire as I was at what the dealership had done. He then proceeded to do everything he could to help me to get the motor replaced at the fairest possible cost (and yes, I had previous bids to compare that cost to), showed me genuine kindness, kept me informed about what he would be doing and why, and took every question I had seriously. And he has consistently done the same ever since, every single time I have brought the car back for maintenance or minor repairs. And I have hung around and made a minor nuisance of myself more than once, just because I really like everyone there and enjoy watching them work on my car. So I know that’s how they treat everyone, not just people who are on the edge of a nervous breakdown over a car that seems to be determined to become a giant lawn ornament…while they still have to make the full five years worth of payments on it. : ) Nothing is for show at this shop. Nothing is fancy. They just have honest, good-hearted, very capable people there trying to get your rig (and by extension, your life) back on the road. Thank you, Jesse Chaney.

Found my new mechanic! Jesse and his team check all the boxes. Good communication, very fair pricing and the work done in a timely manner, super impressed. My jeep had a radiator leak and some other issues, I looked up how much a radiator would be if I bought it, the most expensive one I found was $200, Jesse charged me $125. If they're marking up parts, it's incredibly low and their labor rate is plenty reasonable. I don't mind paying for services, I don't ever want anything for free, I just don't want to be taken for a ride and Jesse is more than fair and honest in his approach. I look forward to coming back.
