Was told my car was going to need a bunch of repairs by another shop so I took it for a second opinion. Dave and his staff gave my car a once over and turned out the repairs I was quoted were nothing that I needed. I ended up going with Charlie's and will NEVER take my car to another shop. The service and work done to my car was 100% the best hands down. Thank you so much for taking care of me. Not only did they shuttle me to work, but had my car road ready in no time at all. David and his crew are not only TOP NOTCH, they are honest, do what they say and say what they do. NO hidden punches. They tell you what needs to be done, and they educate you on what has to be done, then give YOU the option of what you want to do. If you are smart, you can use them for everyday repairs, to oil changes, to anything. I can speak personally that he has saved me and my son MANY a bad days by helping us with our vehicles. everything from our van, our chevy's our BMW to our Lexus. He is an amazing person to do business with.... If you need a go to mechanic... he is the best one if you need a dependable mechanic team!! Oh yeah... I've been there before Oskar, and before Moose.... LOL... nothing like have a personal side kick to keep you company while getting your car worked on!! Definitely recommend this shop. We moved from out of state and spoke to David the owner about my issue and right away gave me an idea of what the problem might be. Javier who took care of fixing my car did an awesome job. They are very knowledgeable, I went for an electrical issue that someone else couldn’t diagnose and he got to work really fast and reliable. Oh, and be careful when you open the door! Someone might say hello!🐾

The "Better Call Saul" of auto repair. At first I liked him - he came recommended from friends. I thought he did a good job on my car, but I continue to have the same oil leak he claimed to have fixed. He said he would correct if it was leaking in the place he fixed, but I don't want to take it back there as he lost my trust. He also did unauthorized work on another vehicle I took to his shop; replacing the top end that had just beem replaced, still having the same issue. I gave the owner three chances to correct, and he ultimately talked his way out of correcting the mistake, which he promised he would do if that is what I wanted. As I said, he is very approachable and likeable, said "I'll get this car in great shape!" But six months later, the car needed to be towed as my spark plugs went bad. Not his fault necessarily, but in hindsight, it seems like they did not really look deeply into what the car needed and I still have the oil leak I was eager to be rid of and assured was repaired. NOT a bot, David, but nice try buddy. I know you remember me and now my mom is not taking her car to you again. Thankfully, there are plenty of good mechanics that do their own work in the Winston-Salem area. Also, check out his responses to bad reviews, like his response to my review. If you take your vehicle here, most of the time it will work out for you, but problems sometimes happen. You want to take your car to someone who takes responsibilty and makes things right, not to someone who attacks customers, tries to discredit them, or simply redirects them to good reviews when something goes wrong. When I start my truck, i think of this guy, He could have fixed things, given me my money back, but he didn't, after he said he would.

I took my wife's minivan here after she told me it was making "weird noises" when braking during the day. I showed up 30 minutes before they were to close, but they inspected it and showed me a worn-out brake pad that was metal to metal with the rotor. They said they could get the parts and fix it this evening, which they did. I'm grateful to Dave and Mike for staying late to get this fixed so that my wife didn't have to drive the minivan in this condition another day. Good people!

10/10 definitely recommend! I called just hoping they would have time to look at my car before they closed today being that it was Friday. They said I could bring it by really quick and they would try to see what the issue was so that I could at least have peace of mind over the weekend (very kind, because I was freaking out.) They were able to very quickly diagnose the problem and even showed me what it was. They were also nice enough to fix it right then when they didn’t have to, at a very reasonable price. The icing on the cake; a very well behaved dog in the waiting area my kids really enjoyed playing with. Will most definitely be back!
