Be VERY careful when taking your car here! They will try to SCAM you. Given their highly rated reviews, I thought this would be a reputable shop that wouldn't try to scam me for repairs the car didn't need but unfortunately they tried to scam me. My check engine light came on so I took it in to have it checked. They charged me $283 just to get the reading from the computer. The computer told them that the charging cable I was using was bad, but nothing wrong with the engine (I have a Chevy Volt). They then proceeded to give me a quote of $2,440 to check out my charging cable and to do repairs on my car that it didn't need! In that quote, they said my oil was low and need changed. I just got an oil change a month prior so I took my car home from Chevrolet Service - Lee Johnson, checked my oil and it was ~80% full. I have no idea why they have a 4.9 star on Google. I'd definitely take your car somewhere else than here.

My oil change light came on 500 miles before I was due for my 8k service. I booked my 8k service appt but the soonest availability was 2 months out, so I took my car in to the quick lube for just the oil change. Turns out everything they do there is the same as the 8k service, so I was able to mark that complete! It took about 2 hours start to finish, but they got me a lyft to a nearby shopping center to pass the time! Very happy overall!

I purchased a vehicle from Lee Johnson Chevrolet 2 months ago with 30k miles on it. 2 months later, I noticed an oil leak off the front end. I took it to Ogden GMC in Utah since that's where I was at the time, for an oil change and to get inspected. They send me a video within 20 minutes of all the standard upkeep levels and what needs to be fixed. They also informed me it needed a new crankshaft seal, which they would have done 4 days later in one day. I didn't want to stay there another 4 days, and I saw the excellent 4.9 star rating at LJ Chevrolet Kirkland where I bought it. So I call them and tell them what needs to be done. They said they could get me in the next Monday. I drop it off Monday morning and don't receive any update for 6 hours. So I called them, and the guy said he would check and call me back. Hour and a half later, he calls back and says it will be till Friday, maybe Monday, because it's such a big project. It's Saturday, and still no response. Try to call and get an update and just get put on hold for 10 minutes. I wouldn't recommend taking your vehicle here.

I had a highly disappointing experience with Lee Johnson. I brought in my car because the air conditioning was not working. I chose Lee Johnson because they advertised a coupon for a free air conditioning service check. However, after an hour, I was told that the service would cost up to $500, even though they initially said they’d check the hoses for damage for free. This bait-and-switch tactic was frustrating, but things got worse. I later received a call with an outrageous estimate of $4,960.00 (+ tax) for various repairs, including: AC condenser (leaking): $1,850.00 AC line from compressor to condenser (leaking): $1,450.00 Front strut boots (coming apart): $1,250.00 Battery (failed test): $410.00 This pricing is exorbitant, especially considering the actual cost of the parts is significantly lower. To make matters worse, when I refused their service, the technician’s notes only mentioned the need for a new AC line, not the condenser. This indicates they were trying to charge me for unnecessary repairs that their own technician didn’t even deem necessary. To add insult to injury, I purchased the AC condenser and line for a total of less than $300 from an official Chevy vendor. This proves that the parts themselves are not nearly as expensive as Lee Johnson Chevrolet claimed. Lee Johnson Chevrolet's dishonest practices and overcharging for services are unacceptable. I strongly advise against using their service center. Save yourself the frustration and take your vehicle to a more trustworthy and fair dealership. UPDATE: After a couple of days, I managed to secure an appointment with another mechanic to address the AC issue in my 2018 Chevy Volt. This mechanic ran a thorough scan on the car and discovered numerous error codes related to the AC problem—far more than the original one I brought to Lee Johnson Chevrolet to resolve. The new mechanic quickly identified the root of the issue, revealing that Lee Johnson Chevrolet had done incredibly shoddy work. It seems their actions may have even been malicious, potentially as retribution for not purchasing their outrageously overpriced service. The entire AC system, including the air filter housing assembly (GM 23381452) and front intake air duct (GM 84292114), was never properly fastened and was actually disconnected. After fixing these issues and replacing the AC condenser and hose, the new mechanic asked why I wanted to replace the condenser at all. He noted that the old condenser was in perfectly good condition with no signs of leakage, contrary to what Lee Johnson Chevrolet had claimed. Upon inspection, he found that the aluminum section of the hose was broken and appeared to have been struck by something, causing the AC leak. This damage seemed incredibly suspicious and suggested potential foul play. I purchased the AC condenser and hose for slightly over $300 from an official Chevy vendor. The entire repair, excluding the cost of parts, was only around $400. This starkly contrasts with the $4,960.00 estimate from Lee Johnson Chevrolet. Lee Johnson Chevrolet not only tried to scam me with inflated prices but also performed work so poorly (or maliciously) that it created additional problems. Their dishonest practices and potential sabotage are beyond unacceptable. I strongly advise everyone to avoid their service center. Protect yourself and take your vehicle to a more trustworthy and ethical dealership.

Had a great experience getting my oil change at Lee Johnson Mazda. It's wasn't fast as their were about 6 cars before me, but I didn't mind the wait. They did a visual inspection of the engine, filters, and filled tires and checked tire tread, and vacuumed and washed my car. I also received a video of the visual inspection which I found very helpful. All in all, I'll be back for my next oil change.

Our third time purchasing a vehicle from Lee Johnson. Sales agent Mika Kawasaki went way & beyond to find the vehicle we requested. Searched & found it up north & brought the vehicle to the dealership in a day, test drove, we agreed & purchase in a couple of hours! We are happy & very satisfied!

This was my first time using Lee Johnson - Mazda. Came to have a new set of electronic keys made/paired and cut. The service techs did the job in less than an hour. The cost was about what I would expect an hour of work to be at other car dealerships in the Puget Sound area. They provided a complimentary inspection with a video walkthrough. The tech spoke about observations/measurements and recommended repairs that I could add on. A website link with the recommended repair cost was also available to authorize additional repairs. I decided not to proceed but felt this part of the process stood out to me compared to other dealership experiences. They also did a quick car wash before giving my car back. The guest waiting area was well suited for getting work done while waiting for my service. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was because when I arrived I saw a sign at the desk saying there is now an added 3% charge for credit card transactions. It would have been great to hear this information when I scheduled my appointment over the phone so that I could better plan my method of payment. Rather than finding out about it while dropping my car off.

The crew managing the service department is fantastic. They're so professional and friendly. It makes the whole experience just great! They also setup a Lyft ride to my workplace and back while my car was being worked on (they had a couple of recalls to take care of that took some time). The service was timely and hassle free. They even sent me a video of the multi-point inspection for added transparency! Finally, they gave me a nice summary report on all the checks done along with their recommendations. I just love the experience every time I go there!

Lee Johnson Quick Lube: Definitely one of the most friendliest places I have had my oil changed. I was in and out in 30 minutes! With excellent service! I did get there early so that may have helped with time. Sarah was so nice and welcoming at the front desk. There was a very nice area to wait with a small coffee shop. Highly recommend!

I don’t question the quality of the technician's work on my car. They fixed the noise issue and serviced it well overall. However, I was surprised by a hidden 3% surcharge for using a credit card, which wasn’t disclosed initially. I also had to request the inspection sheet, which should have been provided with the service itemization. It would be helpful if the technician or front desk walked me through the inspection results and next steps. Additionally, the nearly $100 charge for replacing the cabin filter felt a bit steep.

The level of support from Chevrolet Service was very impressive. They took care of my vehicle and provided rides to work and loaner car when it was determined that the repairs would take longer than expected. They were able to do everything without disrupting my family's schedule. It was even more impressive when I accidentally texted a previous Service Manager and he quickly replied with the correct details. Wow a previous employee doing that was awesome and speaks highly of Lee Johnson as an employer!!!

Customer service at the location was fine. Which is why I’m willing to give two stars. I will not be back due to quality and transparency of the quoted additional repairs upon inspection. I went in for an Oil Change and normal inspection items Quoted new rotors and pads - $1100 Oil Pan Gasket and Timing Cover Gasket for a leak - $4000+ Plus other standard maintenance items - At Normal Pricing. Paid for the oil change and decided to get a second inspection at another location to confirm their recommendation and pricing. On taking my car to a Local shop they noted that my car on arrival had no oil registering on the dip stick. This was very strange as I have not seen any oil in the drive way and only drove the car ~50 miles before taking it to the second shop the following week. Second shop recommend cleaning the oil and dirt, adding a dye to the engine oil and confirm location of leak before committing to the gasket repairs which they also stated would be expensive. This ended up determining that the neither the pan nor the timing cover gaskets were leaking, they suspect the turbo was periodically with a very small leak over time. At this point I conclude Lee Johnson’s Service department failed to put oil back in the car or far less than the recommend after the change. Most of the recommended work by Lee Johnson like the pads and rotors were also not needed as they had 7mm remaining. Get a second option from another shop before you take them at their recommendations.

Lee Johnson Auto Family has the best service, the most honest approach with kindness without nickel and dime-ing you. From the top of the organization from Brett, Todd, Robert and other leadership to the bottom, their customer service, consistency and care is undeniable. I had a long, 4 hour wait for my Chevy Malibu oil change and 60k maintenance, and felt taken care of by Tim Anderson and their team. Randomly, whenever I have to wait in their very comfortable and spacious waiting room, I always meet the most amazing people and have made strong connections, just there in the waiting room. To top it off, my car always comes back freshly washed 🙌🏽 Lee Johnson Auto Family is highly recommended by me, my family and our community as a whole. Brett & Todd Johnson (owners) are some of the nicest and down to earth guys around.

$300 for an oil change is ridiculous. Tech said it was because my truck needs a different viscosity oil now because GM put out faulty motors.. Will not be back

Avoid! Avoid! Do NOT use Lee Johnson for service. I was charged double what other local dealers charge, received poor service, and felt completely cheated. I brought in my C8 Corvette for a warranty check and a transmission service. Not only did they take 8 days instead of the promised 3, but they also tried to charge me for a warranty inspection that we agreed prior would be covered. The real scam was the pricing. They quoted me ambiguously via text with no "total" price given, leading me to believe the transmission service was roughly $1100. When the bill came, they charged $2200 ($1000 for fluid + $1100 for the filter). For comparison, Everett Chevy charges $1100 total and Bellevue Chevy charges $1300. Lee Johnson is charging double the market rate. To make matters worse, they didn't even reset the maintenance reminder in the car. If I hadn't noticed, I would have been tricked into servicing the car again too early. It makes me wonder if they even did the work. The manager refused to make it right or match local prices. Drive a little further to Everett or Bellevue and SAVE A LOT. Avoid Lee Johnson.

Grant and his team are the best! I dropped off my Chevy for a quick oil change and I was in and out in record time. They went above and beyond and vacuumed the interior and gave me a voucher to get my car washed.
