Jay’s was suggested to me by a friend and I’m so glad I trusted them with my vehicle. They were helpful, walked me through the repairs they suggested, and were patient when I tried to explain something to them in “I-don’t-speak-car.” I won’t know how well the repair works out until I put a few miles on my car, but all the things that were misbehaving prior to my visit have been tamed by Jay’s team. Really great customer service! Even though my car was not worth saving, I received great advice on replacing my car. Plus, they are letting me store it there until I figure out what to do. Especially, hard right at Thanksgiving! I was also able to use a mailed coupon. My coolant tube broke , causing the engine to overheat. On a 10 yr old Ford Escape. Seems Fords only last 10 years has been my experience. Time for a different brand of car.

Called around about getting a faulty headlight replaced in a 2014 Subaru Outback, which I’ve done once and it’s bear of a job since it entails taking out part of the plastic wheel well and it’s in a hard-to-reach spot, so I know the labor that goes into it. Main servicer doesn’t do it, HKP in Bellevue wants $600! Jay’s did the work for straight labor and material at $170…totally worth it imho! They are fantastic and very honest. Would go for regular service if we lived closer.

This shop is AMAZING. I cannot recommend Jay's enough. I've always liked them but tonight they really went above and beyond to help me. I was doing an after hours drop off and very foolishly did not roll up my windows before doing the key drop. I texted the shop number to let them know that I'd be taping the windows over with some trash bags and to ask that they please roll those up in the morning. Not twenty minutes later, he shows up to get my key from inside and roll up my windows. It's a wet and windy night and I am SO grateful for this incredible customer service. These folks are so wonderful, even before he rescued me from my own silliness tonight. I've brought my cars to them for a couple of years now, and have had nothing but good experiences. When my old car was on its way out, they could have easily tried to sell me expensive repairs that would only temporarily fix the issue — instead, they were honest with me that it wasn't worth the cost of fixing, and gave me a cheap solution that would buy me a couple of weeks of driving while I shopped for a replacement. They have never tried to upsell me on something unnecessary, which I cannot say of other shops. I absolutely hated going to other mechanics because I'd often find they'd be patronizing or rude, and constantly try to push overpriced repairs or maintenance that I could research and find out were not going to be useful. I have never had any kind of negative experience like this at Jay's. They are always kind, honest about what work needs to be done vs. what can wait or isn't really necessary, and they do great work. And I'm lucky they can work on hybrids as well as trucks, so I get both my Prius and my gasoline F250 taken care of there. If you want honesty, excellent service, good communication, and kindness, go to Jay's.

If I could I would give negative stars on this repair shop. Recently moved here trying to find a new shop to take my vehicle to, and made the mistake of this one. Checked reviews and with AAA and believed it to be a respectable shop but was wrong. Went in for roughly and $800 dollar repair, and the shop came back with a $2800 dollar repair. Had vehicle towed to a more reputable shop recommended by other shops that work on my type of vehicle and the repair was under $800. Jays Kirkland shop, said the part alone was over $900 and the repair shop that did the work had the same part for the price of $155. You should really do some research on other shops before using this shop, reviews do not do this shop justice. I have contacted AAA on their recommendations for this shop and approval, and supplied them with the quote from this shop and the the bill from the repair shop that was used for the the repair. Do not just agree to the repair until you check the price of the parts online and check with other shops before having this shop complete the work. I can only imagine all the customers that they have over charged and the customers didn’t check around. Bad business.
