Highest prices in the city. Small store with very few items. Staff is not friendly. Store is dirty. With 3 places to enter/exit this station is a traffic nightmare. Go elsewhere!!!

Pump sucks. Kept cutting off & took forever and then over pumped and sprayed gasoline all over my pants!!! And then they have me a card to call the manager to complain which had a disconnected number. Now I have to go home and shower and wash my pants.

DMV needed me to star smog my car. I checked around, and as other reviews said, this place has a very reasonable price compared to other locations on star certified smog check. It was also much quicker than I anticipated. The people working there were kind and courteous too. If I ever need another smogging, I will be coming back to this place.

Very reasonable price compared to other locations on star certified smog check. Newman was so friendly and done in 15 minutes. I highly recommend. Leave your car go grab quick bite or coffee while waiting. I would definitely go back to get my car smog checked

I’ve watched the smiles and kindness disappear from the workers at this location over the years. And with so many choices of gas stations - and this one being in a prime location - I encourage the owner to have a sit-down with staff and remind them to find their gratitude for the job they have. I know that location is ROUGH for folks rolling in during mental health breaking points - AND - that is the reality of retail in San Francisco. I hope the owners do something to empower the workers to realize they are being of service - vs. the victims by having to work there. The vibe is waaayyyy off. Only use this station if you must.

Need a smog test? BE AWARE AND BEWARE: Definitely do NOT go here for your smog check unless you do not mind being WAY OVERCHARGED. I used to patronize this business for years and was always charged about $70 each visit. This week I went and was told prices had skyrocketed because of inflation and covid. I believed the person who performed the test and paid the $138 charged for it. To my chagrin, I just saw a sign at the ARCO station at Divisadero and Fell offering smog tests for under $50!!!

I had been here 2 years ago for a smog test and it was $68. This time they charged … $188. Ridiculous. My bad for not verifying the price in advance. I did some checking afterwards and this pricing is definitely not the norm.

While refilling my car, I had a sudden medical emergency and needed to use the restroom quickly. I went to the restaurant next door and asked my wife to inform the staff that I had to step away briefly. At the time, the station was not busy and there were multiple pumps available. When I returned a few minutes later an employee had removed the pump from my car and left my gas tank open, then walked away. This is a safety issue and completely unacceptable. I had to rush back just to close it myself. I did not confront the employee and simply left, but this experience showed a lack of basic manners, professionalism, and customer service. Emergencies happen and leaving a customer’s gas tank open is careless and unsafe. Very disappointed.
