Amazing service. My husband and I recently bought a new car we wanted to get checked out by a third party mechanic. We brought it here under significant time constraint as the due date for our first baby is only a couple of days away. Even with a busy schedule, they worked to get us taken care of. Very transparent and honest work. They even sent us home with a flower and wished us the best with our little one’s upcoming birth. We will definitely be back.

Customer service is spectacular and setting up an appointment over the phone was easy. Got a same day appointment for an oil change and they had an amazing discount. Best price I’ve ever found. Wait time was well worth it because they do a full vehicle check over and showed a step by step guide via text and will print it out for reference. I felt no pressure in getting services other than the oil change, which I greatly appreciate. Will be returning for future services and their honesty, sincerity and overall service won me over.

My friend told me to drop my car here so they can inspect what was going on with it. So glad I did! Took it to the other shop and they started telling me my brake was not working right, tire alignment needed, etc, without showing me any proof whether I need to fix it or not. Not here! They sent me a PDF report including pictures of what needed to be done first. Super satisfied 🤩🤩

I called last Thursday to get a quote and schedule service for multiple fluid services, and brakes. They gave me the quote, said it would be five hours of labor. So I asked if I brought it in Monday morning, if I could pick it up at the end of the day, they said no problem. When I arrived Monday morning, everyone was there except the person who has the key to open for business. I should have walked away at that point. Because when I checked the status later that afternoon, they hadn't even started work. So I checked back the next morning and they said they'd be able to start work shortly. I asked if it would be done by the end of day, again the response was "no problem". Close to the end of my workday, I called to check status again, still not done. But they only had the brakes and transmission service left to do and recommended that I call back the next day at about 11am. So I called back at my first break, at about 2pm, to check status and they still weren't done and were working on the breaks. So thinking that this should be the last thing on the list, I got a ride up there at 5pm to pick it up. Well, after they allowed shop to close up around me, not saying a damn word to me about what the status is for the full hour and a half I sat there, at 15 minutes after close they come up to me and said there was a large ridge on the rotors, that evidently took 7 hours to correct because the transmission wasn't done either, and that they neglected to order the gaskets for the differentials (which means they weren't done when I was previously told they were). I just moved here from Leander, where I had a mechanic that I could rely upon. He earned my business on my first service, where he quoted me to add a leaf to my rear suspension. When I dropped the car off in the morning I was expecting it to be next-day service, but he said it would be ready by end of day. He called me back an hour before closing to let me know that it wouldn't be done by 6pm, their closing time. I was expecting to hear him tell me it would be the next day when he could finish up, but he instead told me that it would be 8pm. He stayed afterhours and finished the work. He kept his word and when he wasn't going to meet a time commitment, he let me know well before the committed time came. That is how to earn trust and business. Christian Brothers falls so short of this bar. I did not receive a single proactive contact to give me status or let me know when previous commitments weren't going to be met and each time I spoke to someone they assured me they'd be done well before the end of day. They told me that services had already been completed when they had not. At this point I am now beginning to worry about the quality of the work being done. I have no trust for them at this point and they have my truck hostage in their bay. So here I sit, four days without my vehicle for a service that they said they'd have done in a day.

Dropped off my 2008 Honda Civic for an oil change, and was told the price would be like $45. When I picked up the car and showed the half off coupon on their website, the guy said it’d now be $55 (originally $100) because they “used full synthetic oil” (on a 20 year old honda??). I wouldn’t trust these guys again after that blatant scamming

Came here for an inspection to get our car registered and the inspection fee was waved. They got us in quickly and did a great job. We certainly appreciated this. Listened to another customer who had to pay over $200 for a diagnosis of his transmission problem. The Service Advisor said it was $8,000 for a new transmission which includes a gasket, bolts and what not. Wow, those what nots must be expensive. We will be back if work is needed but may get a second opinion on an expensive repair.

A relative came in to get a clutch replaced and I found out much later that they forgot to replace the hydraulic fluid for the clutch, causing a brand new clutch to burn out. They also left several things disconnected in the truck that we didn't find out till much later. When I took my vehicle in to be serviced, I was given wildly exorbitant prices to the point my car was not worth fixing and I had to get it replaced. These folk take advantage of people who don't know anything about being a mechanic and I have totally lost my faith in any of these smaller brand or smaller sized mechanic shops.

This place is great! Thank you Joe for your professionalism. You made me feel trust in the process and the great price. The key fob case was very thoughtful. You sold everything well, communication was fantastic. Mintada also did great work. Thanks for the service.

I had to drop in on short notice when my Check Engine light came on during a road trip. Joe went out of his way to help me make arrangements (on a Friday afternoon!) for my car's repair, a rental/loaner car, and to ensure I made it to my destination safely. This is exactly why I always seek out a Christian Bros shop. They have both the knowledge & the goodwill to help their customers.

Stop by because of a checked engine light. The guy told me it would be $220 to put it on a diagnostics to tell me whether I can drive it home or not. Then he told me it would be Tuesday before he could even look at it. Very disappointed in Christian brothers. O’Reilly’s does diagnostics for free. Headed there right now.

My daughter is a college student in town, and since we live several states away, we’ve unfortunately had to rely on local mechanics to handle her car repairs. After calling around for quotes and receiving poor customer service at other businesses, we finally contacted the next on our list — Christian Brothers Automotive. Considering our previous experience with other shops in the area, Christian Brothers topped the standard. They were extremely helpful, informative and professional. Despite being so far from my daughter and unable to assist; I was politely reassured and lifted of any pressure regarding her vehicle. I am very thankful for finding this shop and will be sure to have my daughter return if any car troubles were to happen in the future!

Do not go here, inflated prices, extras that they slip in to invoices, and use nothing but sales tactics to try and overcharge on parts and labor. They tried charging $1000 for a simple radiator hose leak. Spark plugs that have already been replaced they also tried to charge almost $1000 to replace even though they haven’t even checked them. Yet we pay a $200 diagnostic fee that’s not even waived if they work on the vehicle to ensure they check everything that’s wrong with the car. I’m sure they’ll respond to this in a witty and professional way apologizing or trying to justify their insane markups but you can ask any technician it’s a rip off. You’re better off calling around and getting multiple quotes before going anywhere especially this place.

I genuinely can’t thank Christian Brothers Automotive enough! As someone who knows very little about cars, I was nervous going in—but David was absolutely incredible. He walked me through everything with so much patience and honesty. It would have been so easy for them to take advantage of my situation, but instead, they treated me with genuine care and integrity. David made sure I understood what was going on every step of the way, and I never once felt pressured or confused. And a huge shoutout to Leslie, who was so kind and made my drop-off and pick-up experience feel effortless. The whole team made me feel like I was in the best hands. If you’re looking for a place that’s trustworthy, professional, and truly puts people first—Christian Brothers is it. I’m beyond grateful and will absolutely be back (though hopefully not too soon!). Thank you again, David and Leslie—you both are amazing! 10/10

Really great staff and reasonable prices. I recently had them do a diagnosis for my car and they were very thorough with their report. We went over everything in the report and the service tech explained what everything in the report was and if it was something that I should get addressed. I didn't feel like I paid an arm and a leg for the services provided and the quotes for service were fair. Will be going back here for regular maintenance and/or repairs.

This place is outrageous. I got a diagnostic and was overcharged for a diagnostic test and the price was justified just because they provide a video. I just had an isue with my headlight and ebded up paying almost $200 when it was something they could have just looked at.

I had an excellent experience here! I brought my car in for a full check-up and an oil change, and they really took great care of everything. The staff was super professional, friendly, and very easy to work with. I scheduled my appointment the day before, and the whole service took less than 20 minutes. Couldn’t ask for better service, quick, professional, and trustworthy. Highly recommend!

⭐☆☆☆☆ – Disappointing and Concerning Pattern of Issues I’ve tried to give Christian Brothers Automotive in Bryan, TX several chances, but after today’s visit, I’ve decided it’s time to take my business elsewhere. Today’s appointment was supposed to be a simple oil change and tire rotation. When I dropped my vehicle off, there were no warning lights on the dash. Later in the day, I was informed that the check engine light came on as they pulled it into the bay. When I asked what the issue was, I was told they could tell me—but only if I agreed to a $185 diagnostic test. I declined, picked up my vehicle, and paid for the services I had requested. When I started it up, the check engine light was no longer on and has not returned since. While some may say that’s just coincidence, this is not the first or even the second time I’ve experienced something unusual after a visit here. On a previous visit, I was told there was an oil leak, and they even provided pictures showing oil around the engine. The estimated cost to fix it was nearly $2,000. I took my vehicle to another mechanic for a second opinion, and they found no leak at all—just what appeared to be oil spilled during a prior service. No harm done, but it raised an eyebrow. On another occasion, after another oil change and tire rotation, my tire pressure sensor light came on immediately after leaving their lot. It hadn’t been on before I dropped it off. When I called, I was told it wasn’t related to their work. I later took it to Tire Discounters, where they suggested a sensor may have failed. I replaced them all just to be safe—though it’s hard to ignore the timing. The staff at Christian Brothers are always friendly, polite, and professional, and I genuinely appreciate that. However, it’s concerning that nearly every visit seems to result in a new “issue” that wasn’t present beforehand. At this point, it’s difficult not to question the pattern.

They are the best of the best! very kind and fast service. I went in for an oil change they got me right in and then even replaced my battery in my key remote free of charge. Such good customer service. They gave me a flower when i was leaving, my goodness made my day. Lord bless this business in Jesus name. I will come to them from now on. They even gave me a coupon to cut the price of my oil change almost in half. Thank you Jesus! Cause i'm a single mom on a budget!
