I had a 9am appointment, for routine tire rotation and an alignment. I arrived on time and was told it would take 2 hours to complete. I was shuttled back to my place. The driver of the shuttle was super friendly. 1pm, I sent a text asking for the status of my car and the rep said they are currently inspecting it and she will get back with me once completed to provide me with their findings and costs. 3pm rolls around and I hadn’t heard anything, so I called to check on the status again. The lady said my car is still being inspected and she will get back to me. I’ve never had a car inspection last 2 hours. This location closes at 6pm. At 5pm, the rep called to say I need 2 new front tires and they couldn’t do it that day because they were about to close. They also didn’t do the alignment nor tire rotation I asked for because they said that wouldn’t fix the issue my car was experiencing. Again, the rep said she’d call me back with quotes and order me Shuttle back. At 530, no call/text about anything so I ordered a Lyft myself so I can get my car. My car was at the shop for 9 hours with an appointment and nothing was done to it nor was I provided a quote for tires OR a Shuttle back to the shop as promised. I say all that to say my first visit at Christian was shockingly disappointing. I was led to schedule an appointment with Christian Brothers due to a recommendation from a family that has gone to this location for years. They too were shocked and disappointed with my experience and stated they will not be returning. In addition, prior to scheduling the appointment I saw the high ratings and also read the guiding ideas of Christian Brothers. After the experience I had, it’s funny to see that much of the employees minus the friendly guy who shuttled me back to my place don’t work under the guiding principles of “love your neighbor as yourself” because I know they wouldn’t want the experience I had

I've now taken my daughter's car to this location twice - once for a fairly extensive repair which was done quickly and professionally, and the second because the person that did her oil change used way too much oil causing the car to spew smoke from the tailpipe. I called CB fully expecting to pay to have them drain some of the oil only to be told by Wesley that they would do it at no charge. *That* is customer service, and that is the reason that I will be bringing my other vehicles to them in the future.

I went here to get my car fixed for my fuel tank. Initially, i was suppose to pay upfront cost for 2,200$ and they had told me that the car would be ready the next day. Since the cost was too much i had decided to use my insurance and claim it. They had mentioned that they had a different process for insurance. Granted, it needed to be seen by the insurance company (adjustor) and the parts needed to be sent out which took a few days. The day that my part was sent out. My service advisor (Shay) was giving me the run around and did NOT attend to my car immediately! She gave me 3 different days with NO SPECIFIC TIME and DATE was giving a reason due to the holidays! Yes, i understand that it is the holidays but other companies are already up and running after the 1st i work near this specific location. UNPROFESSIONAL! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! UNREASONABLE PRICES WHERE YOU CAN GO TO OTHER MECHANICS AND SERVE YOU BETTER!

Questionable Service I visited the location about a month ago. This was the second time in an approximately 2 week span. The first time the car stopped on the side of the road after it slowed down while driving. I get the car to the shop, only for them to say it was the battery. So they replaced it. Two weeks later, the engine light comes on again. I call the shop and the manager assured me that they would find the issue. As soon as I'm towed there, the look at my car. When they called, they stated that the car had over 1,000 misfires. Now, I'm not a car expert by any means, but I did find it interesting that the car had over 1,000 misfires at that time but two weeks earlier, none. So, they replaced a coil pack. Fast forward to now and the car hesitates to accelerate. At the end of the last visit, they told me that "We're not God. We can't predict what's going to happen. " I found that statement very condescending. It seemed as if they did not want me to ask questions about the repair. With being female, it's difficult enough to have to handle these types of situations. It's not the best feeling having someone attempt to shut you down just because you asked a clarifying question. Unfortunately, I do not feel confident going to this location. I do not feel that they have been transparent. If they were not my warranty service center, I would go elsewhere. Many of the staff members are wonderful, and I would welcome renewed trust in this establishment. I just don't want to be belittled for trying to know more about my car. 12/10/24 Update: I responded to the reply from Christan Brother on 11/23/24 and have not been contacted.

Very good experience of scheduling and being seen on time. Nice waiting lounge where I could work while waiting for my car to be reviewed. Very detailed pre purchase multi point inspection on the car I was going to buy, giving me a lot more confidence to close my deal. The inspection went smooth and they got me a meticulous report of everything they looked at and how each one of those points were doing. Recommended!

I usually don’t leave reviews but I received such awesome customer service today and every time I visit that I feel the least I could do is share my experience. I’ve been to Christian Brother’s a couple times for inspections and they’ve always been extremely helpful, kind and quick. Today I came in because my splash shield was hanging off and I needed them to remove it. While I was in the office I was listening to them speak with a couple customers about how their transport shuttle was down, but that they will send an uber in order to still get the customer to where they need to go. That was the first display of outstanding customer service I saw — most car shops do not go to this extent to keep their promise to customers and I thought that was awesome that they still made provisions to have the customer not waiting for hours. Then, after my splash shield was taken off I asked what the cost was and they said no charge. I really do believe that this organization’s model focuses on customer service, knowing that by offering good customer service and quality work they will keep people coming back. After what I saw and experienced today, Christian Brother’s has a repeat customer out of me. Sure they could have charged me for the labor they did, but they didn’t, and that alone tells me that this isn’t an organization who nickels and dimes their customers.

One month ago, I had my car serviced at the Pearland location. All needed is to add my alternator belt install, instead i got bill was started at $520 dollars, half fixed car. had to replace a start which never had a issue unstill i had it towed. The customer was Rude plus. The members of the staff treated me like had no idea what a poor job was being performed parts was uninstall on my car. see attached pictures

Don’t take your vehicle here!!! They will take advantage of you. I needed a battery and they tried to charged me $511. Yes you read that right. I can buy the battery for less than $250 from a parts store and they will replace it for free. They also charge $90 to “test” the battery. The “test” doesn’t go towards the parts and labor. Complete rip off. How do you stay in business? Ended up at Logo Automotive and I will start giving them my business.

Really good first time experience. One thing I will share is that I expected someone to walk me through the service details. I received a text message saying someone would call to discuss but that didn’t happen. Not a big deal because my service was routine. I also could’ve asked upon pick up. Again, not a huge deal since it was routine. Just slightly different from going to the dealership.

Do not believe everything you hear, especially when inquiring about “deals” by businesses like Christian Brother’s in Pearland. There was a recent advertisement on FB stating $24.95 for blended and $39.95 for full synthetic oil changes. I called to verify if my vehicle was eligible for this special….spoke w/Aaron. I gave him the year, make, and model of my vehicle and he stated yes, my vehicle qualified, however they didn’t have any appointments until the following week. I called back and made an appointment for the next week. When I arrived, I asked again if they were still honoring the FB special and if my vehicle qualified? Eric stated yes, I qualified for the house special. I said ok. They took the vehicle to the back and few minutes later came back and stated my vehicle takes two extra quarts and it’s cost more. I asked how does my vehicle qualify for the special if I have to pay for two extra quarts? If you advertise a special/deal for a specific price and tell a customer their vehicle qualifies for that deal…that means the services being rendered are covered under that deal. If there are any extra costs/fees that require deviations from that deal, then the vehicle does not qualify for the deal. After paying $58.93 for the services, that price was certainly not the “deal/special”. I checked my oil and the oil was not completely full. So if the technicians checked my oil and said it’s needs 7quarts, why is the oil still low? That means my vehicle takes the same amount of oil a truck does…8 quarts. Which leaves me to believe they only put 5 quarts in my vehicle to begin with but charged for 2 extra. In the future, Christian Brothers needs to be very specific when advertising their deals/specials. I am not saying don’t go to Christian Brothers, I’m just saying be aware of your vehicle’s needs, be careful, don’t allow them to just tell you anything. KNOW YOUR VEHICLE!!!!

Beware their 'specials'. Just talked to john and he admits their freebies to entice you in are quote "they are what they are". I called him on the free OBD scan. Well he didn't know if it included transmission. He asked someone and said yes but I am suspect. They offered a free AC check with an oil change and John admitted its a simple visual check. I called him out on his sharp practices because he says its free and more more do we want. Well I want you to not waste my time and money coming to your business. They have no appreciation for my time and costs involved. If they have suspect and sharp practices before I even do business with them think how bad it could get once they have your car. As I told John. I've been in biz for over 25 yrs and I've never charged for a real quote. I am happy to go out and meet my potential customer and show him/her I am trustworthy and deserving of their trust and business. Christian Bros want to bend me over before we've even had a date.
