Excellent service, honest advice--whether you like the conclusion or not. Only mechanic that ever sent me away saying brakes and alignment were fine, come back in 7-9 months. These guys fixed all the issues I had with my suspension noises and alignment issues and now my car corners better! P.s. It's now been about 2 months and driving my car is so much more enjoyable. It used to wander around the road and pull to the left and now it actually is much less stressful to drive, I didn't realize how much driver fatigue I was getting just from fighting the car on road trips. I may as well have Lane keep assist or something It tracks so straight.

I love this place. I am 69 years old and have been coming here since high school! When we, like many other owners, noticed our relatively new Hyundai Sonata was going through tires like crazy we asked the dealer to fix the problem. They claimed there was nothing wrong with the car. After a front AND rear alignment at Clarence Brown the problem disappeared! They fixed the problem right the first time and at a reasonable price. Happy to report tire wear is still normal 2-3 years later!

This business truly cares for their customers and takes pride in their work. I went in for an alignment and they booked me an appointment. I mistakenly told them my tire size was 19 inches. They quoted me a price, and when the appointment was done, they informed me that my tires were actually 20 inches. Despite this, they honored the original price they quoted. This was very kind, and it was entirely due to my error, yet they kept their word. They did a perfect alignment job, and I would not hesitate to return.

Pretty disappointed in this alignment shop. While the alignment was very good and correct, the technician scrapped the front left side of the lip on my car and in the process pulled out the inner fender. After raising this concern, the service manager was communicative but ultimately didn't take ownership for the mishap, resulting in more of an issue that when I went into the shop with. Bummed as this place came highly recommended! Make sure to take photos of EVERY part of your car before dropping off! It's a shame you have to do this today just to get your car back in the same condition you dropped it off with.

Came in for an alignment on my 2018 Forester XT. Straight up people out here at Clarence Brown. A lady had a car pulling to the right, so she brought it in. They checked her alignment, and even test drive her car. Didn't find any issues. Found out that she took it in to the tire shop to air it up few hours before. Sent her home with no charge. GREAT HONEST PEOPLE!

They did me a solid on my axle pivot bushings on my Ford E150. My vehicle was in a previous accident and had damage to the undercarriage specially the I beam mounts. They were able to bend them back to spec and replace the bushings along with an alignment and now it handles so much better. There is no more noise in the steering and it turns smooth. They gave great customer service and took time to explain their work and any other potential issues I mentioned. As soon as I walked in the door they greeted me by name and had the paperwork ready for me to sign. They were very professional front to back. They also had a tub of Red Vines in their office for customers and thats a huge plus cause its my favorite candy. These guys were very friendly and knowledgeable, they didn’t make me feel like my questions were a bother and I felt welcome from the first phone call for the quote. Which they replied promptly with a call back and quote. Would definitely go here again. Glad I found them on Google

This small business shop is owned and operated by some of the very best people in San Diego. Extremely responsive, proactive, and always shooting you straight with the whole picture concerning repairs. Unbelievably fast access to parts. I have been using them exclusively for all my suspension maintenance and repairs for 25 years. On my truck, the suspension parts have been discontinued by the manufacturer for 5 years, but Clarence Brown has gone to great lengths to track down parts and usually has them the next day! Really, they could charge a serious premium price for their work, and it would easily be worth it, still. I always feel safe and well taken care of when I drive out of the shop. Thanks guys!

This is my number 8 visit in 12 years for 8 different Audi, BMW, and Mercedes cars and SUVs. This is still the best place for alignment. I have come to the conclusion that the dealers and other alignment shops only know how to use a machine, and they are at the mercy of its quality and tolerances. Here, the job is done correctly, according to the science, and mathematics. No one can touch my alignment even the best head mechanics at the dealership!It has to be done in this place. You drive a brand new car, out of factory, it is all over the place, after alignment in this place, it is ready for race tracks. Straight, solid, no tramlining (even with 325mm or 315mm width tires), and the tire wear is just perfect, exactly same everywhere.

I dropped my M3 off there today. They delivered the car on time as they promised but more importantly I didn't even know how often it was until I got it back out on the road and took some turns. It must be handling 25% better at least. Great job and it was worth the commute from Jamul to bring the car there. Like other people said, I didn't even realize how off my car was until taking it here. Replaced a bent control arm and full alignment, done within a couple days. They even offered to wait and try to find cheaper parts at a scrap yard. Nice to offer. Now my Honda feels like a brand new car. I miss when most businesses operated like this.

Just had the alignment inspection/adjustments performed on my Son's 2016 Honda Pilot. The technician noticed a slight vehicle "pull", the front tires were cross rotated and now the vehicle tracks straight. I had my 2012 Honda Accord alignment service performed as well last week. Great "old fashioned" service with tried and proven alignment equipment that's been around for decades. I'm totally satisfied with the services I received. I felt both welcomed and appreciated. Took my Mazda Miata here to get a sportier alignment and really happy with the results. The guys here were very honest with me the whole time.
