Can't say enough about Co-Auto. Nile in particular. He picked up the phone when I called at the end of the day, explained some likely causes and fixes for the symptoms my car had, got me in the next morning to drop of my vehicle, and even made me a latte while I waited for my ride back to work. Mechanics have a bad reputation amongst the world of the layman. Many people, myself included, have had very poor experiences and ascertain large trust issues when exploring options for auto repair services. When searching the market for a European specialist in a city known for it's lack of community first approach to almost everything, discovering CoAuto was no different. However, upon my first phone calll to schedule a potential warrenty diagnostic, I could tell something was different about this place. Their admin staff are very soft spoken and speak to their clients with understanding and respect. They give suggestions that benefit the customer base over the churn and burn approach of most garages in the area. The office/shop itself is immaculately clean, seemingly radiating a sense of pride in the workspace. There is attractive artwork hung throughout and a full service espresso bar with some extra enclaves for an adulterated beverage if so desired. Points earned where points due. And, it may just be a personal preference, but there's something to be said about being able to see work as it is performed. Not that anyone is standing there the entire time watching the techs, but there are large bay windows looking out to the garage floor where you can see each neatly organized, clean, and productive work station on the floor. When you register your account online, it automatically curates a profile that assigns a ticket number which you can use to track every single detail of your visit. Each technician who touches your vehicle details their work in a very concise, step by step breakdown, complete with photos of each task and part removed or inspected. They did their best to keep costs outside of the original quote to an minimum and called to consult me on each continued steps in their process and even asked permission to keep my vehicle longer than anticipated with no additional charges. They were able to find the root cause of the issue and are working directly with the warrenty company to get it resolved with as little impact to me as possible. Though this experience has not yet concluded, I would highly recommend CoAuto to anyone in need of a reliable, "community first" approach to auto repair. Their average diagnosis fees are slightly higher than the area median but it is a small price to pay for peace of mind in my opinion. As of now, I will continue to be a customer an advocate of CoAuto.

I hate to say overpriced. It’s been years since I have used a car repair service Always did my own but now retired screw that let someone else do it!! Super professional & very high tech and super clean shop that says a lot about the pride taken in work! They are now my trusted shop ! Feels good to say that .They also advise about future problems to keep my eyes on .I feel in good hands !

I had an excellent experience with CoAuto. Clayton and the team were professional, straightforward, and really took the time to diagnose everything the right way. They walked me through every step, showed me exactly what they found, and didn’t try to upsell anything unnecessary. The communication was solid the whole time, and my car is running great after the repairs. It’s hard to find an honest, knowledgeable shop these days, but these guys delivered. Giving 5 stars to a mechanic should not be taken lightly. That said, not going to bore you with what was done with my truck. It wasn't cheap (though MUCH less then the dealer) but it was done well, transparently, with great communication, and left me with confidence that I made the correct choice in not only getting the work done, but getting it done by this team. Let me tell you, from the moment you enter CoAuto in Reno, you get a big smile on your face. Nice, clean and friendly staff, you'd never believe your in a mechanic auto repair shop. Clayton and the team were super helpful in arranging my 30k maintenance for my Toyota Sienna. Very transparent estimates and tracking throughout the whole process. If I could give them 10 stars, I'd give them 100. If you're deciding between here and somewhere else, go to CoAuto. They TRULY care about you and are fully transparent about what they recommend/what needs to be taken care of. As a women, I feel like I get taken advantage of in these situations because I'm not quite as knowledgeable about my car.. yet... but these guys were so informative, validating, answered all my questions - DID NOT MAKE ME FEEL STUPID, attentive, available, and so so so kind. I will be coming back here and encouraging everyone I know to do the same. Clayton is AMAZING! Him and his team at front felt like big brothers. They really do take care of you and this is a place I'm happy to bring my money and service to. They welcome you to stay their cozy lobby, offer you coffee, get welcomed by an office doggy, and they even offered to drive me somewhere if needed while my car was being worked on. They also have a really awesome lockbox situation outside of their shop, making it really easy to pick up your car after hours. THEY ARE THE BEST AND YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks team :)
