Lithia Auto Body and Paint did a great job with my minivan! I was hit back in March 2025 and although it took them 4 attempts to fix the van they were very thorough and did everything to make sure me/my kids would be safe when using the automatic door. Al was so patient despite it being a frustrating repair. Al and I both hope I never have to go back in, but I’m glad to know if the need ever arises again that I have a trustworthy body shop to rely on!

I was driving through the Raley’s parking lot when …. BAM….I get T-boned by a guy pulling out of his parking spot!!!! I just moved to Reno from LV and had only been in town about a week and my brand new Subaru WRX had a huge dent that covered both doors, front and back, on my passenger side!! I didn’t t know anyone in Reno to refer me to a good body shop so I looked at the list of Body Shop’s the insurance company gave me…. and luckily….. I guessed right!! I called Lithia Body and Paint and right from the start their receptionist who was on top of her game scheduled me for an estimate 1st thing on Monday morning. At my appt., I met AL MELO who explained everything, answered all my questions, and did it all with a professionalism and confidence of a person who had years of experience in making sure my car would be fixed right, and on time……And I’m pleased to say that AL MELO kept his word… my car was completed 3 or 4 days ahead of schedule!! All the parts came in on time, the work was done right and is under warranty, and my car once again looks brand new!! Thanks to Al MELO for being a true professional and MITCH, who gave me status up dates every time I called! ( which was always right as they were closing for the day) Thank you MITCH!!! LITHIA BODY AND PAINT exceeded all my expectations and I highly recommend them to anyone who gets in a auto accident and wants the job done right!!!

I had high hopes for this body shop but unfortunately they fell short. When I received my car back from them fixing a front end collision every light possible on the dash was on and throwing error codes. When I mentioned this to their manager he said well that couldn’t have possibly been something we did. I explained to him that this was not how I brought my car in. Yes there was front end damage but it wasn’t running rough with all the lights on. After bringing their techs out they realized they hadn’t connected the wiring back together properly after the repair. I then noticed the tail lights were not working and they said the same thing. After over 45 mins of sitting in the parking lot with their techs it was another crossed wire situation. Fast forward almost one year now. The paint on the repair has not held up whatsoever and I have actually have to reattach pieces of the bumper and side skirt that has come loose because of all the clamps being broken off. The only time those were taken off previously was at the time of the repair. Part of my front bumper that was replaced sags and the hood scoop chips off so easily. Over all I’m very disappointed. It took me almost a year to write this review because I was asked to give them a good review right off the bat and I wanted to see how things held up first. I don’t recommend taking your vehicle here.

Al kept me in the loop every step of the way even when the manufacturer did not complete their due diligence. Al is amazing! He has been very helpful to us since we brought our Crosstrek in for a body repair. He was very detailed in explaining all the repairs that need to be done, the timeline, dealing with insurance and even offering to secure a rental car for us! He is very easy to reach when needed and is always readily available with questions and concerns. He listens very well to our questions and answers with patience, tact and great detail. Everyone there was super helpful, answered all my dumb questions and paint matched my bumper perfectly. Al couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful throughout the process. To top it off they got me in the soonest without even having to wait for an appointment(most shops were out 1-2 weeks to even quote the work) and they ended up being a little cheaper.
