Great alternative to the local Mercedes Benz dealership based on the dealership's past negative reviews. Went there after a co-worker recommended them over the local dealer. Prices were fair and not a rip-off compared to the dealership which is now part of AutoNation. My ML350 computer said that I needed a "C" service, but after hooking their diagnostic computer to my SUV, found that I only needed an "A" service. Saved me $$$ for good honest service. They even found an oil leak which I'll be going back next month to have fixed. If I went to the dealer, I think it would've cost me double. Would recommend to anyone with vehicle problems wanting to avoid going to dealers.

If you own a Mercedes, the Michel Brothers are the best auto mechanics in the Reno/Sparks area. The dealership is remarkably over priced and don't have the experience the Michel Brothers have. The Michel Brothers have resolved a number of challenging issues on our older E-500. Highly recommend this shop for your European Auto repair needs.

He quickly diagnosed issues going on with my Audi Q7 2007 oil leak. Gave me honest opinion whether I fixed it or not. Best part is he said because I didn't want to fix it, I owed him nothing since he didn't really work much on my car. Such an honest man in this time and age. Tony is extremely honest and helpful with my Audi. I have had quite a few issues and they always do a great job and are realistic about the costs and time. They don't price gouge (which is very important since I am a woman who knows very little about cars and have been ripped off by other places in town.) This place is absolutely amazing. I was quoted $1000 from Greg's Garage for a new alternator. Michel Brothers did a great job for $296.93. I was a "work-in" appointment, and told them if I had the car back by Wednesday afternoon, that would be fine and I was prepared for that. I took it in at 8:00 am today and was driving home At 2pm. They are my new mechanics. Honest, keep you informed and don't gouge your wallet. I can't recommend them strongly enough

I’ve been bringing my Mercedes here for years. As a woman I’m usually nervous about taking my cars to the mechanic. Mainly because I don’t know much about cars. This shop has always done me right! They have even done some little things and not even charged me. This last trip I had an ignition switch that went bad. I wouldn’t have even remembered, but I guess they put it in a couple of years ago, but said it was still under warranty so they replaced it and didn’t charge me anything at all.! I highly recommend them. They are friendly, honest and do great work and in a timely manner. OK

My wife had a check engine light on our GLE350 come on going over Donner summit during a trip from Modesto to Reno. She was in a panic and called me. I told that if it wasn't flashing to continue on slowly to Reno and I'd find a repair facility to diagnose the issue. I called our local repair shop in Modesto (Kruse Lucas Imports) and they conferred and directed me towards Michel Bros repair shop in Reno. I called and spoke with Tony and explained the situation. He told me to have my wife drive to their shop the next morning at 8:30 and they would diagnose it and figure out a plan. She drove the Mercedes to the shop and was met to discuss the issue. They plugged in the OBD reader and found a coil problem on cylinder 6. He said that they could get it fixed that day and she left the car. At 2:30pm we had a call that the car was fixed and my wife and I had a big sigh of relief. We were ecstatic. They were so very kind to take us in and help her get back on the road. We didn't ask the price and really didn't know what to expect, but the repair cost was more than fair. I can't say enough good things about their Customer Service, quality repairs, and fair prices. This is the standard for what customer service should be! Thank you Michel Bros

I have thought long and hard about giving this shop a fair honest review. My wife and I brought our Mercedes to these guys with a request to fix some minor wire issues and replace the mechanical engine fan. We left for Oregon for a week. I waited for an estimate or any communication. Knowing how hard parts can be for this car I did not think I needed to check up on this shop. We returned to Reno, still no call. When I was able to get over the Michel Bros I arrived to work done without ever offering me any estimate. They replaced the AC auxiliary fan which had been working right up till I left it with them. I asked to see the fan and was told it was thrown out! The fan the shroud and the fan screen. Aprox 500 dollars. They also installed a speedometer cluster which I provided. There installation cracked several surrounding parts of the PRISTINE DASH! When I arrived it was raining. Our beautiful little 190e was in the MUD with partially open windows! In my life I have never seen this level of shameful non professional behavior from a shop. This covers a portion of this shops unprofessionaland and now criminal behavior with the new Nevada law protecting people from this kind thievery. It never worked properly the way they RIGGED it up. We had to pay to have it corrected.
