The transmission went out on my husband’s Dodge Dakota so he had it towed in to Valley Transmission. They did a complete rebuild ($2600.) and sent him on his way - but a month later there was a blockage in the radiator hose that caused the transmission to overheat and go out again. He was able to drive it back to the shop. Despite the fact that the failure of the new transmission was not their fault they stood behind it and rebuilt it again, staying way after hours to get it back on the road right away AND installed a second radiator just for the trannsmission (Like our Dodge Ram had) - These guys are wonderful - good at what they do and you get a 2-year warranty on their work. I would recommend them to anyone needing transmission work.

No scheme, these people are reliable mechanics. I got my shift selector fixed here with updates the whole time I never had my car (one week) GREAT customer service. And my shift selector was fixed back to normal. Don't doubt these people, and brought back faith to reliable mechanics. I hope you guys grow bigger as a company.

As a customer for awhile and usually I have been treated fairly good. I had john do my brakes and rotors then I had a squeain my left side brake when stopping. We have tr iui ed ,both myself and John, to find out the problem,and now I have a ton of brake dust and they are burning up now. I just tried to give him another chance to fix the problem,and he said he doesn't have the time. What a crook.

They (John and Bob) are salt of the earth people who just happen to also be a auto mechanics. These guys saved me over $600.00- just brakes was about to take me through the ringer with my brake repair. I came here and they looked over my situation and made the repairs. They also fixed my transmission along with the water pump. They have integrity and they do a great work. I mean when their website says get other quotes before getting a repair it's kinda got to be legit. Bottom line: In Reno this is the shop to ago too!

Absolutely top notch work and service. Never dealt with anyone as honest and ethical as these guys. John the owner is the greatest. I had been told by another trans shop that I needed a rebuild and would cost $2100. Smelled like a con job. I went to see John. He ran the diagnostics, did a lot of checking on the many codes and narrowed the problem down to two possibilities. He fixed the problem for $240. WOW!!! I highly recommend this place to anyone who has a transmission problem.

My family's 2016 Yukon had a transmission that would not go into reverse and required replacement. After shopping around several shops, I am glad I decided on Valley Transmission to do the work. They installed a GM remanufactured transmission (backed by a 3 yr, 100k mile GM warranty) for a fair price and in only two days while other shops were quoting a week or longer. I'd recommend these guys again in a heartbeat.

I highly recommend John, he’s very honest. Our Excursion had 3 codes, we were told they were transmission codes and probably needed a new transmission. John spent time looking over the codes, checking for any problems with the transmission and could not find anything wrong with the tranny. But did give us advice on the problem. If you want honesty go see John.

These guys are great. Too my sons chevy Silverado due to transmission failure caused by coolant in transmission. Spoke with John on the phone for an estimate. After talking with John I knew this was the place. Very humble and knowledgeable easy to talk to. These guys rebuilt the transmission in a timely manner and checked in with me during process. These guys are great! Honest and with integrity. My vegicle had a code for a bad sensor in the transmission and though it could have been worse once they opened it up, it wasn't. They fixed only what was wrong, replaced the gaskets that they passed, and nothing more. Thanks John and Bob!

These guys really saved my butt with my old suburban. Its getting hard to find shops willing to work on these older rigs and they took it right in and their pricing was more than reasonable. They rebuilt my old 700r4 and with great turn around and communication on progress. They even worked with me on my funky schedule for drop off and pick up. I highly recommend them amd will be going back for any other mechanical needs.
