Not happy with how long it took to check out my vehicle plus I had no starting problems before I took it there now I have a dead battery problem plus my computer info on dash is clear and won't read anything so I took it to another place to have that fixed

Excellent and very honest shop. They do all quality repairs with quality parts, so reviews you see about cost are likely looking for budget repairs. This is not an Advanced Auto so do not expect budget pricing.

$150 for an Oil change (not Including filter) and tire rotation for a Volkswagen Jetta… they priced just the oil at $93 for 6 quarts. I buy 5 quarts of the exact same oil at Advance Auto Parts for $40… that’s wild

We took our truck there on 8/21 when we first called we let them know it was a lkq warranty and were assured that he would work with the warranty company. There had to be a diagnostic done before they would send out a replacement part. On September 6th he called and spoke with my husband and said it's done it will 531.30. After going back and forth with the warranty company on why they wouldn't pay it came out he never sent them an invoice. I called and had him send an invoice. The warranty company kept calling me because they couldn't get in touch with the shop. Once I was able to get the warranty company to agree to pay for the work they said they never received the part back which was stated to the shop they wouldn't pay until the shop shipped the part back. On 9/23 I took the money to Johnny and paid. I asked for the key and why the part wasn't taken back and he said he hadn't done the work yet. He said he never called my husband and said it was done when he called he meant the diagnostic was done but he had the part for a week at that point. Then he said no one told him to do the work but he never asked for the go ahead. I have never had to pay a mechanic upfront for a job. We needed our vehicle back and informed him of this. The next day our truck was done but this is the only time I will ever use this shop

Charged $1080 for replacing Power steering hoses. Because of “so much rust that it was extremely difficult to fix it, and cars from NY will get really bad rust (My family has lived in NY for 20+ years and never had that bad of an issue with rust especially with that low miles on it). And when my fiancé tried to ask about the price they said that they could’ve charged more for labor because of how long it took. My trusted mechanic that my family has used for years in New York said that my car just had surface rust. My car is a 2009 Ford Focus Coupe Manual with 40k miles on it and the previous owners said it was kept in a garage most of its life until the last year. Also ever since they fixed it I’ve had a hissing noise which they said would go away in a week, but it’s been over 2 months and it’s still there. Everyone I have talked to has said that they overcharged me, and I even looked up the prices online and they were not nearly as expensive as this place. I really don’t like posting bad reviews but I don’t want other people to be overcharged. I will not be going back and I will not recommend this place to anyone.

We first came to use College Park Automotive for our car repairs almost 30 years ago when we lived within walking distance. We have continued to do so throughout our moves to and from the area because Johnny has always been fair and trustworthy. As a college student away from home he gave my car the same wise care my mechanic father would have, even finding more affordable work arounds to help us stay safe until we could afford more advanced repairs. He has been generous and kind. Having a trusted repair source has enabled us to drive older used cars with confidence. Johnny’s team has been reliable and careful and done so much for us over the years. We recommend College Park Auto wholeheartedly!

I was dropping my son off at Liberty University and had driven my RV. When I started to leave I began hearing terrible sounds in the wheel base and needed it checked out before I headed back home to Tennessee. Johnny the mechanic went the extra mile riding with me to try and figure it out. They couldn’t fix it because my RV was larger but rode with me to find someone locally that could help. Highly recommend College Park Automotive because they go above and beyond!

Please save yourself a headache and several hundred dollars and do not get your service from college park automotive! I've never written a negative review, but here it goes. I brought my car in on Friday (5/6/22) to have a state inspection and a wheel hub replacement for $349.94. a little pricey but I needed the job done and they had good online reviews. As I was leaving I noticed my brakes were squishy so decided to go home carefully and bleed any air out. Turns out the mechanic broke off the bleeding screw (picture), and neither addressed it or told me. They were not surprised to see me back the next business day, when I returned. It is customary that when a mechanic breaks something that they inform you and replace it without additional cost. But when I picked it up they insisted on charging me another $136.09 for them to fix the issue that they themselves caused. Unprofessional, rude, and absolutely no integrity here. Please be wise enough to take your business elsewhere!

My husband, Mike and I have dealt with Johnny and his crew for 30 yrs. They serviced Mike's Fedex Home Delivery truck for 10 yrs. Always repaired, serviced, his truck on Mondays and always had it ready to go that day for use beginning Tuesday. Also serviced and repaired our private vehicles. They are trustworthy, reliable, and fair in pricing. We thank Johnny for all he has done for us.

I had a disappointing experience with their service. I brought my vehicle in months ago and ended up paying $2,400, only to find that none of the significant issues were resolved. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them. You are better off elsewhere!!!

I took my Caddy over to them, and they worked wonders!!! Thank you Johnny, you are a great dude!!!! I took this same car to several different places, and spent a lot of money in my attempt to fix it, but only College Park Automotives took the time to attack the project like they were Investigators!! I would recommend them to anyone!!!!

Without posting details, let me warn everyone, you will receive your automobile back with more problems than you took it in, my friend took it to them 4 times, nothing resolved & each time they came up with another issue they wanted to repair never fixing the original problem... Completely a scam!!!!
