They lack on the details, and communication, I shouldn't have to take your work to someone else to fix or put things back correctly. You should always want a satisfied customer.

Just saw this on the news, apparently they were busted for being a chop shop and having stolen cars. I wanted to take my car here to have it repainted and luckily every time I went to the shop it was closed. What’s sad is that they have pretty good reviews, makes me question the validity of google reviews on businesses.

I have been calling for my tires or a refund and no one is answering or blocking me, you can’t take people money as a business and not produce product or a refund it’s called stealing money from a consumer, I have tried to be nice and shouldn’t have to call but once for my rims or my money back! I need the owner to answer how this works

They do great work. Really slow depending on the customer. Take on too much and dont always have the time to keep up. Not gracious about it either the employees are cool , the owner have a real take it or leave it attitude.. i dropped it off in july. No one even touched until the end of sept. Car was done in October and was promised in Sept. The actual work time spent on the car was simple only a week labor with a 3 month wait.

Me and my husband heard about business on ig and decided we wanted him to work on our old school. New motor, paint job, & etc. however a year went by and mechanic stated he was close to finishing up. A year & a half go by still not finish. We’ve been patient up until today. Arrive at shop with tow truck to pick up car. Took it to another mechanic just to get told a 2005 motor was put in car vs. the 2018 motor that was paid for. All of sudden the receipt book was wipe out & there saying that have no history of us paying for anything. The business is complete fraud and I will be handing the situation in court now. Be advise to keep all receipts if you choose to go to this business. From the looks of it he only takes cares of who he wants to. I will never go back to that business

I tried to support a black owned business and took my car to College park customs through a referral, a guy referred me. Upon arrival the place really didn’t look like a professional body shop but I still proceeded. I asked for a estimate for my vehicle, they gave me one totally $2100. I asked was they sure of the amount & they double checked if all parts that was needed was included, they asked me to leave vehicle and my keys. I then made a claim with my insurance, a insurance adjuster came out to view the damages and a check was cut in the amount of $3900 for the same exact damages that college park customs quoted me $2100 for when they were under the impression I was paying for this work out of my pockets. Fast forward. Now it’s time for me to approve of the work and start the repairs and insurance had done used a check to ME for the work. Insurance instructed me not to pay anything until work was complete. College park customs called me stating I need to bring them $3900, I asked for a break down of the invoice and how they came to that amount, and they refused to show me or give me any type of breakdown. They was planning to charge my insurance more then they was initially charging for the same work. They refused to give me my vehicle after I told them I don’t want them to do the work on my vehicle hence they were trying to take advantage of the fact I’m a FEMALE. Then they tried to say I owed them $1000 for storage and breaking down my vehicle which I never have them any written or verbal agreement to break down my car. Nor did I have any knowledge they would be breaking my car down. I was only under the impression I was getting a estimate. But the owner Todd became angry that I caught on to his scam. I had to call the police to the body shop to ask them to release my car. I wish no one experience this ever again. This business is very unprofessional and the owner becomes aggressive towards you if you don’t agree with him. This was my experience and it was horrible and traumatizing. He does insurance scams & his Momma I’m on it too! She works the front desk for him !! Be ware he will try to get over on if if you’re a female and he will become aggressive trying to fight u!!! I wish I did my research on this business and check his credentials. You are required to give a printed breakdown of the fees , estimates and final invoice. They didn’t want me to see mines cause they was scamming my insureance

As most of us know the wheel and tire game is hit or miss when it comes to quality customer service. We own a local dealership and I've seen many come and go over the years. Long story short Todd went out of his way at the last minute when I reached out for some tires for my personal vehicle. He Located the tires for me, arranged timely pick-up and had them ready to go as promised. They Know what they're doing and the personalized service I received was top notch.

Go elsewhere. This shop supposedly worked on (or outsourced) my boyfriend's Tahoe transmission and the process has been a complete nightmare. He was referred by word of mouth from a trusted friend who had previous car dealings with the owner/shop. He first bought a part for the transmission in Sept/Oct 2023. It ended up not working properly shortly after Thanksgiving. He returned the transmission in April 2024 to be repaired and here it is July with no update on the status of the transmission. He has called and visited the shop throughout the summer to see what was happening, but no one ever seems to have an answer for him (when they do answer the phone). I overheard a phone conversation between them a few days ago where the owner said he was going to "check on it" as soon as the shop closed for the day. My boyfriend called back the following and couple days later...even had someone visit the shop on his behalf, but the transmission STILL wasn't there. I'm no stranger to car repairs and even had my truck's transmission rebuilt twice (by my personal mechanic)...so I know this isn't right! It only took a couple weeks at most for mine. And I've never been to a car shop where they did not keep you updated on your vehicle. After 3 months, a status update definitely should have been communicated and/or resolved. What happened???? What is the hold up??? Why have someone's property this long??? We are working people too, so this has affected a lot for us....financially and mentally. Rideshare and rentals aren't cheap & we have bills and expenses like everyone else. Where is the compassion for your customer???? All he needs at this point is his transmission or money back, fixed or not.

My experience with College Park Customs was so bad that I had to sue him & won nearly $12,000 (Fulton County Magistrate Court case # 19MS130411). Dealing with this chop shop was a nightmare that left my fully restored dream car in worse condition than when I dropped it off. I took my 1971 Impala convertible to them in April of last year to have the original brakes updated. There were no mechanical issues with my car outside of the drum brakes not stopping to my liking. The only change that was supposed to be done was installing upgraded disc brakes to the front and rear of my vehicle. After almost 2 months of excuses, ignored phone calls and unanswered text messages I finally picked up my car in early June. From the moment I drove away, there were issues. The owner assured me that they were minor and not to worry, but they got progressively worse the more I drove. They became so bad that I had to have another shop repair the poor work that was done wrong on the same day I picked up my car from College Park Customs. This was on the same day they completed the repairs. When I tried to address my concerns with Todd, the owner, he was hostile, argumentative and did not take any responsibility for the shoddy work. He even went so far as to make an instagram video downplaying the situation. Rather than argue, I had my car towed and inspected by other shops and learned that College Park Customs had removed my original rear end (that worked perfectly) and replaced it with a used one from a totally different type of vehicle without my knowledge or permission. This tactic was used to cut corners: instead of buying new parts, it was cheaper for them to put a used rear end with used disc brakes on my car and charge me new part prices. The used rear end wasn't properly installed, which created multiple issues I didn't have before including: - my drive shaft rubbing against the bottom of the car - parts falling off as I drive - my rear rims scrubbing against the frame - uncontrollable swaying from the rear of the car and a tremendous loss in performance. Once again, Todd showed no remorse, empathy or professionalism in addressing my concerns, which is why I had to take him to court to get the matter resolved. Despite being served, and informed of the court dates he didn't respond to any of the court's summons.

During Black History Month especially, it’s disappointing to see u telling other Black people to “go back where they came from” just because they aren’t from Georgia. That phrase has been used for generations to tell Black people to “go back to Africa.” It’s uncomfortable seeing it recycled within our own community. It’s ashamed to Have that mindset towards your own people and I’m pretty sure it’s your own people that’s keeping your business running.
