don't recommend anybody take your car to this place, mine drove in fine, just to have a diagnostic and now the engine its working erratic, didnt had check engine light on when drop it off when I pick it up, check engine light was on, the guy didnt wanna be responsible for that, arguing that he didn't do nothing to it, how that happened? engine was very stable when drove in, engine so jerky when came out. these guys are acting like they know what are they doing but they don't, they have to call some one else to help them on how to use the scanner that they have, ridiculous. really bad experince, now i have to pay someone else to fix this guys mistakes, since they dont wanna be responsible for it. I'm not coming back to this place at all.

I followed the online instructions to call/text Max. I did both. I went and mechanic was supposed to give me the salesman contact info. The vehicle still had lights coming on and air conditioning wasn't cold even though I was told it was redone.

Corkys is the place to go for all your automotive needs. I took my car in to have some exhaust replaced and a tune up done. not only did they get it in and taken care of right away but they custom made the exhaust to fit my car unlike most shops they took the time to bend the pipe and fit it so it wasn't ugly and hanging down like most pre fab kits. they also took the time to find the cause of my stumble my car had rather than just putting plugs and wires on it. they took the time to listen to my concerns and to show me what they did and how they did it to make my car sound good and run top notch id highly recommend them to anyone in the cedar valley for all your repair needs

I have been taking my truck to Corky's for probably 2 or 3 years now. My fiance has started taking her car their within the past 2 years. Coworkers of mine and even friends we suggested them to always come back with nothing but good things to say. The staff is knowledgeable, quick, and prices are fair. This is a local establishment that does great work without price gauging you. If you go to a chain like Tuffy's they will look for anything and everything that could need replaced within the next 18 months and try to get you to pay to have it fixed today. That is the difference. The staff at Corky's is here to earn and keep you as a customer. While chain establishments just try to get the easy upfront profit out of you right now.

Charged me almost 70 bucks to test battery and alternator, then refused to investigate further (after I refused to buy their 250 dollar battery knowing damn well the battery was not the problem) stating they couldn't find anything wrong. Took it to xpress lube on Fletcher and they tested and diagnosed the problem for free!

Marv made me feel real comfortable. When I was scared my car wasn't going to run again he assured me it would be okay with a foot rub and a full body massage. Would back him up in a knife fight. Good service!

I had them Mount and balance two tires on my car they lost one of the lug nuts and used some cheap nut as a replacement. Then sent me down the road without saying a thing to me. After I got home and had a chance to look at my car I called Steve the service advisor and told him about it he said it wasn't his fault he's not the mechanic. OBVIOUSLY THESE CLOWNS HAVE NO WORK ETHIC! I'M A MECHANIC AND I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE THINGS I HEARD WHILE IN THEIR LOBBY.

Got my fuel pump replaced from them. They changed it, took 230$ for a 30-40 minutes job and did not say anything about the part before doing the job. After the job was done they told me the job has no warranty and they won’t work on my car anymore. If the fuel pump I provided wasn’t good like they said they would not have put it in or worked on it and inform me but instead they put it in and took the money and then just told me to never come back.

These gentleman did an excellent job and they are very professional. They worked with my warranty company and they were very patient with them. The young guy who works the front desk really worked with me as far as budgeting, giving the fact I had to replace a whole motor. These guys are awesome I’d recommend them any day.

I’m not from the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area. I recently relocated here and was devastated when my air conditioning compressor unit went out! Every quote I received from the major auto repair shops were so high that I felt that I would never get it fixed! The moment I spoke to Corky’s the weight was lifted! Not only did they fix the issue for a price significantly lower than all the other competitors, but they were helpful in making sure my vehicle in the best shape all around! They replaced my steering coupler & my serpentine belt in the time estimated. I called around to several shops in the area and they were one of the more affordable who could get me in within a reasonable amount of time. I did notice that my air vent had some gummy residue & now it seems to stick every time I move it up & down. This makes me wonder if the guy who said Corkeys busted something on his vehicle without saying anything because I swear, I had no issues or gummy, gooey super glue like consistency on the vent before but hey, they’re cheap & can get you in fast so if a quick fix is what you need, they got the job done (I think) just not happy with them not mentioning that they broke my vent switch. The first photos are my vent after they fixed my coupler & the other is a picture of my other vent which is what it looked like before they worked on it. Just being honest.
