Been coming here the past few years for my state inspection; totally easy process. This time, I messed up because I forgot that my wipers were messed up and failed the inspection. Since I was already there, I just had them install some wipers that retail for under $50 (for the pair) for $89 🤦🏻‍♂️ Moral of the story: don’t get your wipers replaced here. Otherwise a pleasant experience. I’ll just tell myself I supported a small business.

Took my Pilot in for a diagnostic and they gave me the run-down of everything wrong. Every time I have taken in my vehicle, it's ready the next day. They sourced a tricky oil leak and serviced every single system on my car. Julio knows his stuff and his mechanics are great. Liz is super sweet, she's fun to talk shop with. Coronado fixed the screw ups Resler Auto and AAMCO off of Belvidere did to my car. Super grateful for this shop.

I really like the location (next to a McDonald's and strip mall). I usually come here for my annual inspection, and it doesn't take long at all. Furthermore, I have always encountered friendly service. If you pay in cash, you can avoid a fee.

worst. place. ever. since when is an oil change $200+ not only that but they put new break pads on the car 2 days ago. two days ago. and they fell off while driving on the high way. thank god it didnt go bad because of their incompetence to make sure they were on right. these people dont care about their costumers they only care about the money theyre scamming off of teenagers.. instead of making jokes with the customers the owner should be making sure his mechanics aren’t endangering other peoples lives. dont come here unless you wanna get scammed for “more expensive oil” whatever that means.

great work. they found and fixed every thing wrong with my van: shocks, struts,brakes, front and back, they guarantee all there work. my back brakes started to make a funny sound .they fixed it no additional cost, very happy. 5000 miles later every thing still great.

Don’t know if zero stars is possible to give as a review but that is mine. I have gone to this place since I was young and never had a problem in the past. I came to get an oil change like I always have for years. I have always been charged $60-$65 for my oil change. When my car was done, he charged me $120 for my oil change. I asked him why if I have gotten service done with him for years and it had never been $120. He told me it was the price of the oil, it was “expensive”. And gave a look to his coworker, they almost tried not to laugh at me. I couldn’t leave or take my car if I didn’t pay the service. I insisted and insisted, in the end paid $120 for an oil change. Felt very disappointed. Looked up the oil and it is $18. Got completely scammed. Found it so sad after years of being a loyal customer. I guess the owner doesn’t really care about how long I’ve been his customer. Will never go back here again, will never forget how upsetting this was. I’m not one to leave reviews but reviews help others. Hope the owner can change his ways and maybe have a change of heart. If you ever decide to go, I hope this does not happen to you.

Went for a state inspection i was told to sit and wait 20 mins for the machine to warm up. Apparently one of my lights was not working he asked me if i wanted the light to be replaced and i said "no thank you i will come back " (besides we changed them to LED and need to be specifically ordered). I did feel he got pissed by his tone of voice but oh well.... when my husband got home he said the light was strangely just disconnected.... Funny right?

I've been going to Coronado Car Care for a few years now and I am never disappointed by their efficiency. I called this past Sunday at around 2:40 about my windshield wipers and even though they close at 3 that day they let me know I could still go in to get them checked. I arrived around 2:50 and left around 3:10 with my windshield wipers fully working again.

Julio’s attitude is incredibly rude and disrespectful to customers, they are robbing people with a $98 diagnostic fee which was done at auto zone down the street FOR FREE. He got aggressive and talked down to me when I said I could not afford the fee and the price to fix whatever they find and the hours of labor he said it would take to fix. Autozone cost me $44.99 for the part and $0 for labor, as all it took was 2 screws! Definitely taking advantage of customers they deem unknowledgeable. So many reviews of people saying they unplug and rip wiper blades to make more money on inspections.

If I could go lower than one star, I would. They worked on the clutch in our truck and charged us over $1700. When we got the truck back, the clutch was even worse. It would not egage. When we took it back, Julio said there was nothing he could do, because it was an old truck. He even called his security guard to kick us out of the building. We didn't have the money to put into the truck, so we parked it. Years later, our grandson, who is the auto repair class at El Paso High, took it to the school and worked on it. They found that a part in the clutch was put in backwards. Julio had refused to even look at the work done; it was obvious he doesn't keep an eye on his mechanics, nor does he guarantee his work.

Had my car inspected. Looking around I could tell these are serious mechanics. Many high performance classic cars being worked on. These guys love their work and love cars. You can trust these mechanics with your "Pride and Joy". Well, sad to say but since I had my truck inspected there are issues with my charging system. Coincidence?

If you’re a person with no knowledge on automotive parts and issues, you will probably be taken advantage of. Either that or they don’t know what they’re doing. My mother in law went in for a noise her Toyota was making and they charged her $600 and didn’t fix a thing. She then went down to another mechanic and fixed the issue for $40. Be careful.

Literally just called in and julio was such a prick, you can go to autozone and get it scanned for free obviously, but this guy wanted to charge $98, super rude, don’t DO Business with this place, keep your money. I had my car scanned and new what the problem was, i just needed them to diagnose it further beyond the scanner but man I’ve never been talked to like that before keep away from this place.
