This shop was recommended to me by a towing company and I couldn't be happier. Found the issues with my car, fixed it, came in under my budget, and was done quickly during the 4th of July holiday week. This is the only shop I have ever contacted and had the owner answer my call, which immediately gave me some comfort since owners tend to take pride in their work. This is the shop that I would send my elderly mother or pregnant sister to. Honest, reliable, and cost-effective. I have found my local shop and will look no further. I wish this business a long and favorable tenure. Thank you Cory's Car Care. Your service was above all others in my experience and you exceeded my expectations.

I had a disappointing experience at Cory’s Car Care and wouldn’t recommend them. I brought my car in twice for service, and while I considered a third visit, I realized they didn’t have my best interests at heart. If you own a Subaru, I suggest looking elsewhere for reliable service.

Took car in for spark plugs and fuel pump and immediately afterwards 6 NEW CODES for TOO LEAN AND MISFIRES!. Cory didn’t admit to the shop making any mistakes but fixed part of free said it was the part used but after it wasn’t. Cory has several young very young guys that do the work and he gives them directions perhaps teaching them? My car ended up having some issues afterwards and turns out the gaskets when changing plugs weren’t changed or put on well and oil got inside air intake manifold with caused the issues with the idle sensor etc I am not mechanic all I know it caused issues with idle and throttle and Cory kept charging me as if it was not related to original problem. I did not put the two together until I took it to another mechanic without telling them what Corys shop had done just to see if it could be fixed. I was told Cory was honest but he did not own up mistakes.codes po171,po442,po301,po302,po303and I have pictures of those codes to show for it. Had he said hey I had one of the kids do those 1,000 service repairs instead of myself and hey we will fix our mistakes I would have kept quiet about the mistakes but it cost me days off work and my car is now NOT drivable because I don’t have any money to fix their mistakes that will cost to get new gaskets and have installed and more. Cory had told me my throttle body was bad I finally found a new one had a mechanic at church come to do the job instead and there is nothing wrong with my throttle body for my vehicle and Cory was going to charge me another 300 for part and 99 install then when they found out couldn’t buy new they were going to charge me 150 for a u pull it part when it’s 50 on eBay. It you want me to show you all the receipts and code picture I can do that. I am sure Cory is nice but he wasn’t nice to my car and they knew I had no money that the church was helping me because I am low income and it’s my only vehicle and now I can’t take my autistic son to his appts or to Christmas events. His step mom had a stroke and I needed my only vehicle to get to work and take care of my autistic son and now I ride the bus with the homeless and drunks in am and rest of the folks during the day time. Beware they don’t tell you up front how to save you money either. Turns out I could have changed the plugs myself not been charged 500.00 to do that and I would still be driving my car it didn’t have tons of issues before I went there. Seriously my car engine was good before going there. I had it checked out on a machine before hand. Someone told me Corys was honest and that is not my experience. If this review let me post the pictures I would whoever is posting those super nice reviews must be their friends. I really needed them to fix my car I wish they were honest about it. They seemed more interested in making money than anything else. They certainly wanted to keep charging me to do more work instead of admitting their mistake. They had told me it was my sensors then this then that 1,567 dollars later and the parts they said didn’t fix the problem because they didn’t replace the gaskets on manifold etc and that they cause oil to get in places it shouldn’t because they didn’t do job right and those sensors didn’t fix it and I was able to drive my car in to place running good and now I had to hobble it back home out of money out of resources. My friend drives by Corys often saw my car in the parking lot for 3 whole days until I called! Cory sat in the office for 45 minutes trying to tell me he didn’t know what issue was and the part he installed was fine and convince me it’s all my car not their shops fault. Ugh I am a senior. My instincts knew he was not being honest. My friends from another church who know cars came and inspected my car and throttle inside and then saw the intake manifold and said that Corys car place did me wrong for sure and that he wasn’t truly honest. It was an air leak not the throttle body.

I can't say enough good things about Cory's shop. I grew up in a family owned service station with a mechanical and body shop. My father and brother were both master mechanics and believed in treating customers the right way. Many stayed with us the entire 30 years in business and several became life-long friends. Cory's shop reminds me of those times. He's knowledgeable, honest, trustworthy and a genuinely great guy. We found him when we needed an oil change on our 2016 Jeep Cherokee. And we go back to him with any issues we have. Which after my wife was rear ended in May 2022, has been more than expected. Cory always takes the time to examine the issue, write a quote and let us know ahead of time if there is a possibility that the price could increase, and that they will address it before doing the additional work. I managed my father's business for a number of years. Cory took over from his father. Cory's is a family owned multi-generational business, who's prices are fair and who you can trust with your vehilce. A combination that is getting rare these days.

Great customer service! My Mom, as a senior use to go here. They were wonderful to her. That's why I'm bringing my car here to be worked on. They checked it out. Gave me what needs to be fixed. I'm bringing it back next week. I will give an update on the work that will be done.

Cory's car care is a fantastic mechanical shop. Cory and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. Cory has bent over backwards to help us with problems on our Jeep all the way down to ordering a special tool that it needed. Prices have been more then fair and the service is always incredible. He even takes time to explain things out in ways you can understand it. The dog is pretty cute to and always friendly. 🙂 I would with out a doubt recommend this place time and time again.

Been my go to auto shop lately for my 2008 toyota highlander(18year old vehicle at the time of this review). Easy to talk to, costs and labor are reasonable plus I’m all in supporting local businesses here in Vancouver. They did my radiator service, brake fluid service, broken lugnut and the most recent was an alternator replacement. My experience with them was really great, I would bring my vehicle back for future issues. My vehicle has been running great

I had a frustrating experience at Cory’s Car Care. I brought my vehicle in for repairs, and after two visits! the same issues persisted. It only took three months before the problem happened again. It became clear to me that they weren’t genuinely concerned about my needs, and I felt they were more focused on making a quick buck. I would advise others to seek a more reliable shop for their car repairs!

I've had my past two oil changes done at Cory's. They are in a nice location for all of Vancouver, and pricing is reasonable. Scheduling over the phone goes smoothly, and they start service on my car in a timely manner. I was given a battery for my key fob after I expressed needing a replacement; it's beyond what I expected.

Bravo!! A BIG THANK YOU! to Cory and team. Ally took multiple calls back-and-forth in the midst of getting our vehicle towed to their location, she was very kind, thorough, always happy to help, and made the experience easy considering a stressful situation. One of the vehicles Cory and Team worked on was a hot mess due to two other local mechanics (who came recommended) dropping the ball. Cory went above and beyond! Explained everything, priced the work very fairly, and the work was done efficiently and promptly. We appreciate all efforts that were made. So much so, that we brought our second vehicle in when it needed regular maintenance. Hands-down, the BEST, you have our business for life!

Dropped off my car for a simple oil change, got it back with $600 worth of damage to my bumper that the owner pretended to know nothing about and refused to make right. Avoid at all costs

I recently visited Cory's Car Care. Cory himself took the time to explain everything in detail, ensuring that I fully understood the issues with my vehicle. Not only did he clearly outline the problems, but he also proposed solutions in a way that was easy to comprehend. His professionalism and dedication to customer service are truly commendable. It's evident that Cory and his Family take pride in their work and genuinely cares about the satisfaction of his clients. I left the shop feeling confident in the care my car received and the decisions I made regarding its maintenance. If you're looking for a trustworthy mechanic who goes above and beyond, look no further than Cory's Car Care. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of reliable and thorough car care. Thank you, Cory, for your exceptional service!

This is by far the very best car repair shop I have encountered in decades. They were highly recommended by a friend who has been going to them for years. They're honest, and their prices are very reasonable. We had a problem with the right front headlight on my car. Another shop wanted a lot of money to replace the entire headlight assembly. Cory's Car Care had every opportunity to charge me for replacing that assembly, and I had authorized them to order the part - but then they discovered it was only a blown fuse. They immediately called and told me the good news. A week earlier, they fixed a brake problem on my wife's car. We had a check engine light, got it diagnosed for free at Auto Zone and bought the part, but more problems arose. They quickly figured out the problem and used the part we got at Auto Zone to fix it. Very reasonable charge and a quick turnaround.

I had a laundry list of things to fix with my car, including tire alignment, fixing front breaks, rotors, and replacing a wheel. Cory's charged me about $2,500 less than what Vancover Toyota was quoting me. This is the first time I've had car repairs in this area so I don't have any local repair shops to compare it to. Overall, if you are not in a hurry to get your car back, and know what questions to ask then it is definitely a good deal. As someone who knows nothing about cars, and also had to pay for many Ubers when there where delays with finishing, I was frustrated twice with the poor communication I was getting. May not be a big issue for most people, but I was peeved that after the two weeks of waiting which was when I was told the car should be finished, I got a call saying they had one thing left, and I needed to order a wheel and tires from Toyota, which took 3 days to make it to the autoshop. I do not know if they knew and forgot to give me the heads up beforehand to get those parts or if they didn't want to say until they were 100% sure but knowing ahead of time to get them would've been nice either way. The day I went to pick up my car and pay, I arrived at 10 AM as we had confirmed the day before. As I was paying the receptionist told me that when they came in that morning they saw one of the new tires had deflated overnight, so I should take the car to Toyota to see if the wheel was causing it. Since they open at 8 AM, even a little bit of a heads up beforehand from them would've been nice, I could've made an appointment with Toyota instead of being a walk in, which saves time and effort on my end. People, if this stuff sounds too nitpicky, I understand - personally for me, the overall experience was disappointing which means I will look elsewhere in the future.
