Omg! They run in circles more than they change tires, You’re better off at any tire shop.

Super easy. Had appointment scheduled at 11:00am, told me it'd be 1.5 hours, and was done by 12:45ish. Guy at the counter was friendly. 5/5

Called them the night before to see if they carried my tire and they said yes, so I towed my car there, and they said they couldn’t fix it after two hours of waiting so I had to find another tire shop that could fix it.

I do not recommend buying tires here. The prices are good - but the hassle for getting future rotation & balance is just not worth it. It took two separate attempts to even get in. Then, it took them 2 hours just to balance the tires - even though I got there 15 minutes after they opened.

Sucks to put a 1 star review for this costco's tire shop, but it looks like I have to after yesterday's visit. I would suggest going to a local tire shop and taking your business somewhere else instead of here. This used to be the best costco tire shop, but they are no longer on my go-to.

Terrible customer service. I called in advance to confirm they had my tire in stock. They said yes. I showed up, waited an initial 25 minutes just to be greeted, only to find out they DIDN'T have the tire, then waited another 20 minutes for them to order it and send me on my way. I watched two customers walk out angrily in that time after being ignored by these guys. Returned two days later when the tire arrived, waited again, they said it would take three-and-a-half hours to complete. They never called me to let me know my car was ready. Showed up the next morning to pick up my car – no one was in the shop. Waited some more! Not going back.

Highly recommend going to another Costco for tires. The only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 star is that they got me the correct tires and only took a couple hours to install them. The tires came with an odd brown substance on them that looks like was used to store or help mount them, which most came off after wiping the tires down. Still have some that turned white after a wash. The tire center here also scratched up the wheel rims on my car and claimed it was existing damage even though the scratches match up to where streaks of the brown substance are on the tires. Additionally, did not receive the standard Michelin tire warranty paperwork with my tires, which the guy at the tire center said "Costco doesn't do that any more."

I brought my tire for a possible repair and they told me that It cannot be patched and I need to replace it with a new one. When asked if the damage is on the wall, they said near the wall. I brought my car to another shop for a second opinion since Costco did not even bothered showing me the exact location of the damage and they have the audacity to charge me $15. The shop repaired the tire without a problem. When asked about the location of the damage the tech said its on the tread and definitely can be repaired. This is how costco treat there valued member. Full of dishonest people all they want is money over service.

These guys are super busy but are working hard to get everyone helped quickly. I had a gentleman (his name started with an A -so sorry!) go above and beyond to help me with my tires. I ordered the wrong size as written on my car but the tires were a different size. They got the right tires in right away and helped me return the others with no trouble. I’d be back because of him helping me so well! Thank so much!

The WORST tire shop I have ever been to. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. The guys at the front are very nice and overworked but the people doing the work in the garage are horrible. People complain about people moving over here from different countries and taking Americans jobs but this Costco tire shop is the definition of why that's the case, lazy American workers with less than great training and no desire to get things done in a timely manner. I know a mechanic who use to work here and he warned me of this years ago, I figured things may have changed but I guess not. I made an appointment and pulled up. A man dressed like a manager told me to park my car and go to the service center, so I did. I ignored the fact that he wasnt doing anything because hey, that's what managers do best. I wait 15 mins to be seen and find out the previous person who took down my tire info and made me an appointment didnt note anything in the system so we had to start from scratch. Okay, no big deal. But then I'm told I have to wait atleast 1.5 hours or possibly more. Really? I need to find me a Mexican tire shop because they do amazing work and can knock out a tire change in less than 30 mins even WITH appointments and non-stop walkins. Honestly didnt even save that much money. Will never come here again.

Got a new battery there but I had to install it myself but that's okay:-) I know the batteries are outstanding because I did the research and of course there were little bit of a line there at the tire center. And I always get my tires at Costco for the best deal balancing lifetime and pricing

I had a tire change appointment at 11am. Car was taken inside at 12pm. It wasn't worked on till 1:10pm. Didn't leave till 1:30pm. The tires weren't even filled with air. The check tire pressure light turned on a few minutes after departing. I do not recommend this place for anybody.

Great work, very affordable, but very slow. I scheduled an appointment 3 days in advance, showed up on time and they took 60 min to touch my car and 80 min to look at my car. Total time spent at Costco for removal of nail from tire and repair was 2hrs and 10 minutes.

Costco's tire warranty is proving worthless and their tire center service is horrible. We purchased four new Michelin Premier LTX tires from Costco for our car last June. My wife drove the car out-of-state for a family emergency. A nail embedded in the tire during her drive. I emailed my wife the tire warranty and she took it to the Signal Hill Costco to have it repaired/replaced. The tire center never answered their phone so she was forced to go to the Costco herself to see if they would honor THIER warranty. The tire center told her the tire was unrepairable and would need to be replaced. Supposedly they did not have the tire in stock, though it is listed on Signal Hill Costco's website today. After explaining the family emergency to Costco, the tire center scheduled her for an appointment two days later on Friday to have the tire replaced. When she arrived, Costco's tire center told her they forgot to order the tire and would need to reschedule her appointment for the next week after the weekend. My brother-in-law died over the weekend. When my wife showed up for the second appointment on Monday, she was again informed by the tire center that the tire had NOT been ordered and it would now be another four business days before it would arrive. They have now rescheduled the tire replacement for the THIRD TIME. My wife is trapped in Los Angeles. She can't drive home because of the damaged tire and she can't do necessary errands related to the death. We now kick ourselves for not having gone somewhere else to get a new tire. I will spend the remainder of today locating a new tire for our car with the full expectation Costco will have again failed to order the tire for the THIRD appointment that is supposed to be covered under Costco warranty. Our family is dealing with grief from our loss. We are from out-of-state with a vehicle that has a tire that is damaged and has been leaking for over a week. All of this has been explained to Costco staff who simply don't care. They made her show up for each appointment rather than simply calling her to explain the tire hadn't been ordered. Costco's lack of empathy has made a horrible grief-stricken situation even worse.

9/18/2022 Sunday- bad experience. I popped my tire and asked the man do you take walkins he said they don’t take walk-in after 11am and have to schedule a appointment. He did proceed to say that today the appointment is full. I had ask him if there is no other appointments at a later time? Then he told me to park my car and go inside to check. When I went into Costco and waited in line, the gentleman in the front of me wanted to get a refund for his car battery. In order to get the refund the manager has to unlock the register. So the same man that told me it was full came to the register to unlock the cash register so his associate can refund the money to the man in front of me. After I asked the associate if there is any available appointments for that day he said no. So basically both staff wasted my time. The manager clearly did not see the urgency as a paying Costco customer. I felt insulted. Did not suggest any other locations. My tire had a bolt punctured into my tire and it was also holding onto the air that was inside. I had to drive to three locations and none took me in. In the spans of 20 miles I drove my tire started to lose more air and succumb to deteriorating further. Instead of getting the whole patched I had to fork out $130 for a brand new tire. I thank “Just Tires” for taking me in last minute so I can work my Sunday hours as a ubereats driver.

Horrific customer service. They informed me that my tire size was "discontinued" and recommended I go to Walmart because "it's cheaper". First off, Walmart was not cheaper. Second, Costco Online ended up plentifully selling my tire size and shipped it to this store with ease. Furthermore the online booking system is booked out weeks in advance but if you call, you can get an appointment in a couple days... That's of course if you can get someone on the phone without being hung up on. It's hard to believe the Tire Center isn't operated by a 3rd party.
