Needs to have my tires balanced and rotated and a flat repair. I didn't have an appointment. They were able to get me in and have everything done pretty quickly. Very friendly.

Can't beat the price! The check in staff member was the biggest disappointment, unfriendly and not acknowledging all the people waiting. Tire change took about an hour which is normal and the tire changing staff were great.

I have tried many times to purchase tires at Costco Carlsbad. Every time I have called or walked in, I am greeted with horrible attitude and a sever lack of willingness to provide basic customer service. Their prices are high as well. I will never try them again.

Reasonable price but I went back to dealer because they suggested 24000 miles on 50000 miles tires, shouldn't be this worn. I received a 35% discount from dealer and it cost $30 less than Costco.

They gave me a appointment two weeks out for 7:45 in the morning on a Sunday I show up they don’t acknowledge me when I ask him about it he says he needs a supervisor in order to do my tires and he doesn’t acknowledge that I have an appointment. I guess I’ll be buying my toilet paper and food products from Walmart or Sam’s and my tires from a reputable tire dealer

The place couldn't make you happy if the mechanics aren't able to put a lug back on a pole, keep your 2 central caps unbroken and inflate your tires properly. In my case all 4 tires had different pressure: 35psi, 33, 24(!), 32 while they should have 39 psi according to the rules. Very disappointed.

We were here trying to put air in a spare tire since we will be driving to El Paso soon and had a minor inconvenience doing it. Nick tried to help but he was busy, and when Paul saw there was help needed he came up to offer his help and took care of the spare tire. His willingness to help and how he took the initiative to step in and help us is appreciated. Thank you Paul!

I changed my four tires to Michelin at end of 2015 for Sienna. I have go and back more than five times and never fix my tire pressure problem and there are two tires broken during this period. How lucky am I!!! And they told me it is a good news my tires covered in the insurance. I still need to pay money to replace the low quality tire. Another, it is always no stock left in the location. I have to drive my broken tire to another place to replace my tire. Very disappointed service.

The crew at this Costco Tire center noticed my Tesla tires were not the right ones for my car. They offered to replace them for free to get me in the appropriate set. Now that’s the kind of service and excellence that brings a huge smile to my face.

I came for the free rotations (because the prices weren't actually all that great compared to local tire shops), and it turned out to be a horror show at every step. For starters, I stopped into the location to inquire about new tires, and they didn't seem to have any tires in stock for my vehicle that were reasonably priced, so I ordered online for delivery to the local store, and scheduled installation at the location, about 2 weeks out. A couple days from my installation appointment, I still hadn't gotten any indication that my tires had actually been shipped, let alone received by the store. So I called the national customer service number to see what was up, and they instructed me to call the local store. Long story short, 5 frustrating calls later (where, each time, I had to fully reconstruct the issue for the person I was talking to, because apparently they never take notes), I finally had an arrangement whereby the local store would acquire the tires from an alternate source (because the online order wasn't working for some reason, and no one could tell me why), and I was able to get an installation appointment a few days after my originally scheduled appointment. Even so, I wasn't able to confirm they had the tires until moments before my actual appointment time. Luckily, I did manage to get the tires installed during my second appointment (after waiting in line for almost half an hour to even be acknowledged to check in for my appointment). But that wasn't the end of my troubles, because they made me pay AGAIN for the locally-acquired tires, and told me that I had to cancel my online order and get a refund separately (this is all Costco, isn't it?) Ok, no big deal, right? How hard can it be to cancel an online order? Oh, just wait! After getting home with my new tires, I went onto the website to try to cancel my order. No dice. Not an option. So I called the customer service number (again). I was informed that I couldn't cancel my order (which, by the way, still had not even shipped). Instead, I had to wait until the tires were actually shipped and received by the local store, and only then could I "refuse" the delivery and get a refund. Ok, another PITA, but still not a huge deal, right, because what's one more phone call after nearly a dozen, just to sort out getting tires installed? Haha, I should be so lucky. Just a phone call, lol!!! So I called the store when I got an email notification that my (now unneeded) tires had been delivered, so I could get my refund. Not so fast. They told me that in order to get my refund, I had to appear in person to at that store. I couldn't just do it over the phone. What fun would that be??? So I drive all the way back to the store. Once there, you'd think that getting my refund would be quick and easy. Think again. 20 minutes in line to be acknowledged and even then, I had to talk to 3 different people before I got someone who had a clue what to do....etc. Seriously. Save yourself the trouble. Find a good reputable local tire shop. You'll thank yourself in the end.

The Tire center is too understaffed. The waitline took 45 minutes and it only took me 3 minutes to actually buy a battery. Considering the intelligence of the average Costco shopper, Costco needs to have a larger parking lot dedicated to the tire center. As well as radios so the cashiers aren’t running back and forth. The same customer capacity at discount tire would’ve taken less then half the time.

I got a flat tire at Legoland. I was able to drive over on a spare tire to Costco (Carlsbad) at 5pm on a Saturday. They fit me in and worked quickly. They put on 4 new tires in less than an hour. This allowed me to drive over a 100 miles home without any problems. I would have been screwed if I had to drive that distance on a spare with the flat regular tire inside the van. I would not have been able to put half of the luggage back in the car. Danny and the technicians are the best. Thank you

Don't buy Auto Batteries at Costo. Exchanges IF the battery prices raise, and 10 months later you have an issue where you need to exchange it for the exact same battery, You are charged that difference in price to exchange it. Costco can raise the price on your battery and charge you for it when you need help. I swear this is breaking a law. Refunds Refunding the battery, it is pro rated. And probably pro rated at the price you paid being lower. I got $89 back on a $130 battery purchase. The battery had already been exchanged once because the threads were not correct on the - side. ( I didn't get charged then ) My car's Costco Interstate battery died in front of Auto Zone so I bought a new battery. Considering the fact this was my second battery from Costco, I simply wanted a refund the Costco battery. Boy, was in for a supprise today. Auto zone has batteries for $129. You don't get this treatment at Auto zone and you don't have to be a member. Executive member. Is I really worth it? Folks have issues with auto repairs, contact the "Bureau of automotive repair" (BAR) , file a complaint. I see chipped rims on one of these complaints, get at it! They will help you.

One of the female employees Nick chose to help a woman who walked up to the front of the line and complained about a long line is instead helping the people with appointments who were actually in line. This is bad practice. You should help the customers who are in line with appointments before helping rude complaining customer who did not wait in line or have an appointment.

Horrible experience. I buy a new set of tires and set an appointment for the next day. When I arrive the employee greets me with attitude and says I don’t have an appointment. Why would I buy tires and NOT setup an appointment??? They finally get me in after a back and forth. When they finally swap my tires they forget one of my hubcaps. Of course when I call they give me the workaround.

The worst Costco Tire location. The people who worked there don't care and don't do a good job. First, they put different sizes and colors of tire air caps, and they put a chip in my two rims. When I was telling them, the guy just kind of brushed me off, saying it's not a big deal. Worst experience ever. STAY AWAY!

I got 2 tires replacement today. they forgot to fill the air for the one for the 2 new tires, and I saw the tire pressure warning sign after 5 mins I was on the road. but the shop has already closed. they forgot to secure tire caps for both tires. 241229 they didn't forget to fill up the air. the installation itself was totally wrong. I checked the tire at night 1 day after, and the tire air has totally out.

I ordered tires in November, which were supposed to arrive by about Dec. 12. December 30 rolls around and they are not available. I call the tire center and they say they'll call me back. They then ghost me. These are $800 tires. Then I call Costco to cancel the purchase. They proceed to not cancel the purchase. Now I have to file a dispute with my credit card. I've had better follow-up and customer service on burrito purchases.
