Received a great price and friendly, prompt service for the 4 new tires I recently purchased. Kudos to Mike for going above and beyond on a minor skid guard fix he did that wasn't caused by the installation.

Staff is friendly. Had a 4:45 appointment and was told the inspection would take 20 minutes before repair. Returned at 5:50 to hear they couldn’t find the puncture and needed a thorough inspection. Five minutes later, they located it and said it was repairable. Left at 6:45, but the repaired tire wasn’t inflated to the correct pressure. I trusted Costco but likely heading to Discount Tire next time.

Several terrible experiences here. One time it them over an hour to tell me they couldn't install the tires because of the speed rating, despite those tires being one of the factory installed options. On a second vehicle it took them over 2 1/2 hours to change the tires despite an appointment and not being busy.

I picked up 2x group 65 AGM batteries for my 2020 F350 that's still rocking the original lead-acids from the factory. 🏭 There's a $15/battery core charge, but buying from Costco and doing the swap myself is getting the truck upgraded to AGM vs lead-acid for LESS than the dealerships would have charged. 🤑 Tomorrow is looking pretty nice, so should have the old batteries back to them next week. 🔋

Be careful at the College Station location! I took my truck/ tire in for warranty after replacing all 4 tires. One of my tires had sidewall damage and I knew it would need to be replaced. The shop manager Matt called me to tell me I needed to replace all 4 tires since it was 4 wheel drive. I told Matt no the vehicle was not 4 wheel drive. He said he looked at the drive train it was 4 wheel drive. I told him again no it’s rear wheel drive. Matt then said he would look but if it’s rear wheel then I needed to replace both tires so I don’t damage the truck. Ok Matt I just want the one. Long story short you have the truck, you have the vin number! You know it’s not 4 wheel drive! Don’t lie to people to try and make a sale. Be honest and earn your customers through honest work. I don’t know if the truck would have been 4 wheel drive if my husband would have answered the phone!

First experience with Costco's Tire Service Center and will not be back. Originally ordered tires and was told it would be a few days. A week later I called and they said they weren't in and would call me when they came in. Another week or two goes by and they call me asking if I had ever got my tires. Nope! Few more days go by and got the call that they were ready. Okay, maybe a fluke. Been having a tire losing air for a while. I live out of town, so it's hard to stop by, so I waited until the car was needing the tires rotated to consolidate trips. Had some time today and was there about 5:45 as a walk in. They said they usually don't take walk ins after 5:30, but since it was losing air, they would fix the flat but not rotate the tires. They ended up having to replace the tire. Unlike Discount Tire, their road hazard is prorated, so I had to pay $50 for a new tire that had 5-6k miles on it. A little after 8, it was done. They didn't rotate the tires and there wasn't a single car in the bays when I left. I mentioned I lived out of town and would just rotate them myself. They said the mileage warranty isn't valid unless they rotate them. They also threw the lug nuts and lug nut key package in the spare tire well instead of placing them on top of the jack. All the spare lug nuts were loose. Couldn't find the lug nut key, so took everything out of the trunk including the spare because I thought it might be under it since all the lug nuts were under the tire. Couldn't find it. Looked in the cab, couldn't find it. Finally located it in the glovebox, which is not where they got it from. Crappy warranty, awful service, and you void the warranty if you rotate your own tires even though they could've done it when they fixed the flat, just chose not to because they were being lazy. Will absolutely never buy another set of tires from Costco. Not anywhere close to the level of service I would expect from Costco.
