They were fine but I would find another place if I have to in the future. 1. Hit a deer 2. Started by having a referral by a few people I know and trust telling me that Coxton’s was the best place in town. 3. Called them and setup a time to come in to get an estimate. 4. When I showed up because my insurance wasn’t one of the ones they work directly with it felt like I was getting passed off and didn’t really want to help me. 5. I started working with a young lady who was very new to the job. She was very nice but didn’t seem extremely familiar with the process. And the other employees seemed unwilling to really help. They did but with some resistance. 6. It took a few days to receive the estimate. Longer than it should have in my opinion. 7. Once everything was submitted to the insurance they continued to tell me they wanted to see proof of payment even though the check was being made out to me personally. It didn’t make any sense so I asked to speak with someone else. They continued to really say the same thing. I finally called back and asked to speak to the manager and she was more helpful but not very reassuring. 8. I went back over because I wanted them to look at the truck again they were much more helpful at that time. They went back over everything a found a few things they missed. 9. At that point things got smoother. I dropped off my truck on a Tuesday and got it back on the following Friday 2 weeks later. 10. When I inspected the truck the work is just ok. They did good with the paint but there’s a scuff on one of the plastic replacement pieces. They said they solved a simple leak from the washer fluid but they didn’t. They forgot a screw in the fender well on the inside panel. The bumper was new but there was sticky shipping material still in places very visible on the bumper. They “detailed” the truck so you would figure they would have noticed that. All in all they did ok but I will try somewhere else in the future if needed.

I love the fact that they communicated with me to let me know what was going on with my repair. I never had to guess or assume what was happening. They were very professional and answered any questions that I had. They gave me a date when my car would be completed, and it waa completed 5 days ahead of schedule. I definitely will use their services again and will recommend them to family and friends. I am very pleased with the work they did.

I dropped off my son’s car for repair because someone else had hit his car. I was talking with them about doing a couple extra things to surprise my son because he loves his car and my hubs and I would take care of it. You should have seen my sons’s face when he returned from being out to sea. He was so happy with his car! It was better than it was before it got hit. We thank the fine folks who did the repairs for going the extra mile and remembering what it is to be young and feel like a hot shot in your car. My son is just so impressed with it all and he literally lights up talking about the improvements. It brings us joy to see his joy! Thank y’all for being so wonderful!

Our company started using Coxton's recently for a truck that had been in an accident. Every person we encountered was very friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are fair as well. The body and paint shop are awsome. I have since taken two more trucks for smaller paint work to be done. I only wish we had started using them years ago!

Having moved to the peninsula in the mid 1970's, my 93 year old dad has visited a wide array of businesses and his recommendations don't come lightly. Coxton's gets high marks in his book, and I can see why. We were there yesterday to see if they could assess some minor damage under his 2013 Camry. The expectation was that it would take a couple of visits over several days to get the job done. I went in (while he waited in the car) and was greeted immediately. I explained the problem and showed them a photo I had taken. They were taking down the details and had a service man take a look under the car. Immediately he knew what the problem was and said he could fix it. While we waited, he drove the car into one of the bays and worked his magic. Fifteen minutes later he was shaking dad's hand and sending us on our way. Simply superior service.

I was sent to this establishment, because I was told by a glass replacement appointment l had on mercury blvd. In hampton va. That i also had a broken latch, that locks the back door,l took my car to two other places for an estimate, they both said around four hundred dollars, a person i didn't know, that I was.having a random conversation with told me about Coxton's Collision, and another thing they other pla estimate charged for a estimate, Coxton's didn't, sorry for being so wordy, I left the car they called back the same day and said" your latch isn't broken" didn't charge me NOTHING,I'M SO THANKFUL AND GRATEFUL FOR THEIR ENTIRE ESTABLISHMENT FOR THEIR HONESTY, AND TRUST, THE MECHANIC WAS THEIR WHEN I PICKED IT UP B4 THEY OPENED AT EIGHT, HE VERBALLY SAID " NO CHARGE", AND WISHED ME A GREAT DAY!!! I came back three separate times to have a fender and bumper replaced. Went to wash my vehicle and the paint came right off the bumper. The staff was more than accommodating to make it right, but now I have to go back a fourth time. Save yourself and go somewhere else. Didn’t think it was that complicated of a fix for a body shop.

Coxton's did some repair work on my car after an accident and I found them to be communicative and responsive during the process. My car was even returned to me cleaned. When I developed a problem a few days after getting my car back and some frustration dealing with the insurance side, Coxton's helped me get my car back to them, resolve the issue (which was a not an error on their end), and get my car back to me. They really went over and beyond to help keep me safe on the road.

I had a run-in with a large ball of snow only to find a chunk of ice inside. Damage to the front passenger's bumper was quite extensive. I pulled in at the request of my neighbors, who have been living in the area for 25+ years and was greeted with a quick and reasonable estimate. Downside: closed Saturdays and Sunday. I would highly recommend them for body work
