The waiting area was nice and clean which was good because it took 1 hr and 15 minutes for the service ( oil change) to be completed. Personnel were very polite but did not acknowledge the wait time so I assume that is normal and I would think needs to be addressed.

I had made appt online and added in comment that I needed a splash guard reattached. I forgot during appointment and, apparently, comment was never read/looked at and I left without splashguard getting reattached :(. Otherwise, everything was great.

Good service and very understanding on billing. Had to leave out of town quickly. Called to let them know I would be back following week. Not a problem. Paud upon return. If I can make one recommended service concern; may be use a .memory saver when servicing battery. Had to reset all electronics. Minor inconvenience. Will be back.

Amazing people. I stopped by there this morning to drop my car off for engine noise, and they explained to me that engine is still in great shape after running couple of tests, but they've found something concerning and automatically replaced it as it's under extended warranty. Was surprised when I got the call about it. Amazing work!

When I called to schedule my oil changed, I was asked if I wanted a tire rotation, but it was not built into the appointment apparently. I left with only the oil change and not the tire rotation. Also, it would be nice if when we make these appointments, if the vehicles due for other maintenance, it would be nice to know that as well, so that we could be prepared for any charges that may incur.

I received a letter to bring car in. I made an appointment for my lunch hour. I was greeted right away and directed to waiting area. It took a bit longer than expected. My car was done but the gentleman that checked me in was at lunch. I guess. The other 6 couldn't let me know till I inquired about car. He rushed in with lunch in hand and gave me the information I was needing. 2nd party does all repair work and they will contact me when it's my turn.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Crain Hyundai in Fayetteville! I worked with Grey, Chase, and the Service Manager, and from start to finish, they were phenomenal. They were incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and truly went the extra mile to take care of me during a very stressful time. I called twice a day, every day (sorry y’all 😅) because I urgently needed a loaner, and even with all my questions and follow-ups, they stayed calm, collected, and so kind. Ultimately, I found out I needed a full engine replacement, and thanks to the grace of God and the hard work of the service department, everything was covered through an extended warranty — I didn’t pay a dime out of pocket! Crain service department has been so great with my service needs. They are the BEST! I have been taken care of as if I am their mom! I’m 77 years old, believe me, nothing can raise your blood pressure like car trouble! Braxton and the other service rep. took such care and I didn’t stress. They took charge of my needs and kept me informed. I was grateful for their wonderful concierge that transported me to a car rental place where I was able to obtain a car to keep me mobile. Skid plate got ripped off by water on our Ionic and we needed an oil change. I really liked the staff and appreciated topping off the tires and cleaning out the vents as well. My problem was that a part that was described as an 8 minute job to replace, ended up taking an hour and a day. I appreciate that an oil change takes longer, and the part arrived over memorial day weekend. I called to check it on Tuesday, they said it would be very quick and done tomorrow. Perfectly fine, but they did not say when. They must have had a backlog. I called 3:30 pm on Wednesday because I had heard no updates and I needed to plan to get dropped off at the dealership. They made it sound like it would be done in minutes which was surprising. I figured that they could done oil change in advance. An hour an a half later they called and said that it was ready. I got dropped off. Then they made me wait another 20 minutes to top off the tires get some stuff out of the vents that I should have just turned down. Then they charged us 200 dollars for labor. Divide that by the time they spent working on it and it’s looking like 100 dollars an hour. I just don’t get it. This doesn’t even get into trouble we’ve had in the past with management when we bought the car. Management agreed to a deal verbally rewrote it to something else, asked for signature and walked off the lot. Other than that I personally usually like the shop guys. I am just at this point weary of this dealership.

Communication could certainly improve but largely the issues are with Hyundai in general. Our engine was recalled but they didn't actually do anything to address the issue...just installed some software to listen and put the car into limp mode to prevent catastrophic failure. When speaking to the staff, they admitted that we're basically waiting to be left on the side of the road before Hyundai will do anything despite knowing there is a serious issue with their engines.

Guys are cool, but they cannot figure out the issue. It's a new 2025 so I would have thought the computers (charged me for 2 hour diagnostics) would help find the issue. Not sure if that's the car's design or if the team isn't fully up to date on the tools and diagnostic procedures...but either way I will update if and when they solve it. Hopefully I don't keep getting charged more when I bring it in again for the same issue that wasn't resolved.

I am currently on my second Hyundai bought here and serviced here. First one a years worth of service, not really any bad experiences. Sometimes the wait for oil change can get a bit ridiculous, but I do plan ahead and have entertainment and lunch or whatever. Haven't had an unpleasant staff interaction. My reason for low rating is recently I have had a seemingly minor issue, turns out is a bigger issue. Multiple trips in, and nice enough for a loaner, but when they say days and turns out they memt more like anytime within the month, we'll get to it when we feel like it. This turns into a big issue for me, I am not making this months car payment to drive something I am not comfortable in, when this could be taken care of in two days, three days to allow extra time. My parents have had several vehicles thru Crain Kia and always complained about the service, but I figured different Crain location, probably not so bad. They don't deal with Crain anymore and I love my car, but if I have to get another one in future it won't be from any Crain solely due to the service departments and how they severely lack in proper communication and time management.
