Great People, Great Service! This is the second time my daughter needed service at Custer Auto Repair. Her high mileage Honda Accord was running rough and intermittently stalling. They took her in immediately, diagnosed the issue, and repaired her car... all in one day!! The repair cost was less than anticipated and very reasonable. The icing on the cake is everyone there is SO NICE!! I won't let my daughter take the car to anyone else.

I would absolutely recommend Custer Auto Repair to anyone in the Wilmington area! New to the Wilmington area, I wasn't sure where I should take my car to be looked at for some issues I was having. After my inquiry phone call, I knew this was the place to take my car. They were extremely kind, helpful, and offered drop off times that worked with my schedule. I was able to leave my car in their secure lot the night before my drop off and promptly heard back from them the next morning. The repairs necessary for my car were repairs they do not do, so they offered another shop in the area to take my car, as well as towing service that could help me move my car. I was concerned about the timeline for getting a towing truck and they told me I could leave my car in their lot for a few days until I figured out my next steps. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I really appreciate the time they took to answer my questions and walk me through solutions for my car. It always hard finding a new carshop and going through that first experience, but their team made this process easy and enjoyable. I will definitely be recommending their shop to others and utilizing their services for future needs. Thank you, Custer Auto Repair!

I had my 2001 Mazda B3000 towed at Clusters repair shop this past Thursday, my truck problem was no start , next day they had my truck running, the repair bill was whole lot cheaper than I thought was going to be, Clusters did amazing job , Front desk staff is so friendly and they cared about my situation , highly recommend clusters repair shop , what an amazing repair shop ! Now on I will always use them for my repairs , thank you Clusters for caring and helping me out !

Great customer service. Great car service, too. I can feel the difference in my car. Great rates, too. Since Summer 2023, I have only taken my car to Custer. If you have a different mechanic than Custer, get a quote from both to compare. You won't be sorry.

Custer auto repair was amazing with there customer service! I had a issue with my a/c on my way to Wilmington, I am from Jacksonville. I called the receptionist said she could it have it looked at after 3pm. I came in they took my van in a little while later. Done,fixed Freon was low. Added the dye in so my mechanic can check for a leak. Pricing was very reasonable. Awesome shop! Thank you

A very good friend recommended Custer's after he had a positive experience. To be honest, they did an excellent job on my 2001 Suzuki. They fixed everything another auto shop said they fixed, but Custer's actually performed the repairs! And she runs like brand new!! So, I cannot say enough good things about them. Honest, reliable, and prompt. I've brought my truck in on several occasions and they've always been courteous, professional and succinct, and I've always felt they were very fair on their charges. My only complaint is they aren't closer to my home, but I'll gladly make the extra commute for a trustworthy mechanic.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Custers Auto Repair – Honest, Kind, and Reliable • While leaving Wilmington after a great family weekend, we hit a curb late at night (around 1 AM), damaging our car so badly it became undriveable. • By pure luck, we ended up right in front of Clusters Auto Repair. • The next morning, we called — the owners were incredibly understanding and didn’t take advantage of our situation. • We were from out of town (heading back to Maryland) and didn’t have the funds immediately, but they held our car and gave us time to pay without pressure. • They never rushed us to pick up the car or to pay the bill. They worked with us every step of the way. • This family-run shop treated us with real respect, kindness, and patience. • The repair was done right, and the experience was smooth and stress-free. Would do 1 or 2 star but running a small business is hard and reviews are important. Had some fluids changed, and they just used the most generic crap that doesn't even meet the specs for my truck. I offered to buy the correct coolant and diff fluid and just have em do it over but still wanted to charge labor. Whatever, shouldve done it myself or went to a toyota guy. Not fun setting $400+ on fire just to redo it tho

I took my 1967 GTO to them on the recommendation of a friend with a similar car. The couple that own the business just recently purchased it from a longtime previous owner. I couldn't have been happier and more fortunate to have connected with them. The husband and wife owners were attentive, respectful, and professional. The patriarch owner of the business, Mitch, was very knowledgeable of my older vehicle. I gave him a list of numerous items that needed addressing. I told him to keep the car as long as needed. He fixed at least fifty or more items. Not only did he fix all of the items I asked of him, but he also found numerous other items that should be addressed, as well. With my permission, everything on the car was restored to that new car feel. I would like to thank Mitch and his wife, Tiffany, for their professionalism and attentiveness to extreme detail. Had Mitch do complete timing chain repair on my f150 $4000 he was $1000 higher then anyone else I quoted he came highly recommended . Once work had started and complete after a week truck lasted 2 weeks and Chains started Rattling again and truck began to leak oil called him he had me bring it back in and found a tensioner was bad from new kit so he said he would replace it under warranty at this point he found where his tech had pulled vacuum pump and reinstalled it with bad seal so he said he would put new one on and I only had to pay for new pump once I got truck back again a month later the chains started Rattling again at this point I called him and he would not answer my call or return a text since then I have had to get ford to do the work costing me $3500 And them tell me the kit was Not compatible and that’s why I was having trouble with it so they reinstalled new parts to get it fixed I would not Recommend him for any engine work Highly disappointed and cost me almost 3 times what I should’ve paid the first time

I will never be able to say enough good things about these guys. They did an amazing job with my F-150. Mitch is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and courteous. My truck ended up here twice on emergency basis and they worked around my difficult schedule and came through for me big time. Their prices are beyond competitive. Custer’s stood behind their work and made sure my car was truly fixed. They handled a follow-up repair at no charge, were extremely friendly, and communicated clearly throughout the process. It’s rare to find a shop that genuinely cares about doing the right thing. I’ll absolutely be back and highly recommend them.
