Don is the best. He found a big problem in my car that the Ford dealership had caused with the last warranty repair they had completed. Don fought to do the work himself instead of Ford doing work again since his turnaround time was better and we trusted his workmanship. Ford ended up paying Don to do the work and Don's turnaround time was just a few days. We will take all our business here!

Back in September 2022 I gave D&J a try with an oil change for my 2007 Honda Accord as I am new to the area. Unfortunately I won't be coming back as my oil plug is stripped and needs replaced, likely from use of an airgun instead of using hand tolls to do the job right. I called ahead to reserve the first available time in the morning and asked to make sure what they charge if I bring my own materials and they offered the cheapest price I could find around. The gentleman who helped me was not much of a talker so I don't know what his name is. But I am looking for a mechanic I can trust to tell me something is wrong even if I am only looking to get routine maintenance done.

Drove in on a Saturday with a busted muffler held together with a bungee cord. The owner (Don) said he wanted to take a quick look. Being a Saturday with not many options, I figured he had me in his sights for an expensive weekend fix. After about 10 minutes of welding he came back and said you're good to go and said there would be no change because it didn't take that long. Thanks so much Don! You made our day and we'll be back for sure!

I can't say enough good about D&J Automotive. Don is one of the most honest and genuinely good dudes I have had the pleasure of doing business with probably ever. Don was transparent from the start. We brought him a bit of a basket case (old poorly maintained vehicle) and he looked at it with a positive attitude and didn’t give up. He delivered a high quality service at an affordable price and added some humor too. I highly recommend. Fast forward - Don has helped us with 4 vehicles in total over the years. Early on, it the above-mentioned (old plow truck), then a timing job on an old camry, brake job on an Audi Q5, then - most recently a ton of work on our '97 Jeep Cherokee. This most recent experience mirrored all other services - honest & transparent, no non-sense, and a positive attitude. Don is fantastic, and the cost ended up being less than quoted. Don is hands-down the best mechanic I've worked with in my life.

I think I've taken 3 cars there myself and plotting a few more. I never realized they did all kinds of automotive hahaha but they're the ones I'd trust if I needed work done! He even did pretty exhaust tips on my babies. 😁

Went in on a whim looking for exhaust manifold work after being sent from one place to another. Although everyone seems to want to shy away from it, this shop took it on head on with an outstanding price! Work was thorough and complete with NO corners cut. Communication was excellent prior to the appointment and continued while the vehicle was under repair. It's been a pleasure doing business with Don and Jake. When I take my vehicles to them, they always call me after the diagnosis to discuss the options. They're never pushy but allow me to make the best decision. Many times they have done a diagnosis for free. Their pricing is very reasonable and I'm very pleased with the work they have done. They have even offered multiple times to inspect vehicles I was looking to purchase. As many as you want to bring us they would say, without charge. They have made me a loyal customer and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good and honest auto shop.

Found my mechanic… New to the area and as soon as I arrived to Spokane my car broke down, of course. I had some repairs done at a different shop and afterwards, something was wrong. As the single owner for 17 years, I know my car sounds and smells. I googled, saw D&J’s great reviews, and decided to give them a try. Best decision. He patiently listened, gave the car a spin, and fixed it in 20 minutes, seriously. Not only that, free of charge, I was speechless. Today was the first time I have ever visited this place. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I was told I needed a new muffler and so I was referred to D&J. I made appointment to get an estimate for a new muffler/exhaust, but as it turned out I only needed a bit of patching up. It took less than 20 minutes to fix and my car is quiet and running great. I will give them more of my business. What a sweet guy. Y'all, I would totally recommend that you give this shop a try. I feel like they are very honest. The guy could've said that I needed a whole new exhaust, but he was honest, and just fixed up, and everything is great now. Thank you so much..

D&J Automotive Owner Don is a good guy. He was referred to me by two other shops who didn't have a big enough shop or hoist to work on my big old 1 ton Panel (delivery) Truck. Don had the space, HD hoist, tools, time, and TENACITY to tackle the job, and he did a GREAT job for a very fair price. My motto is "Say what you mean, Mean what you say, and DO what you say you'll do - especially when someone is depending on you."
