Blandon was so helpful even before I officially brought my car to him. I was struggling through the Atlanta summer with little to no AC and when I called just before he closed for the day he offered to stay at the shop late on a Friday to take a look and see if there was anything he could do in the short term to make things a little more bearable. I brought my car to him the next week and he repaired it for me. The price was fair and he is dependable and honest. So glad to have such a great mechanic in midtown!

I moved to Atlanta a couple of months ago and was nervous to look for a mechanic when my front tires started making a high-pitched metallic grinding noise. I googled "mom and pop mechanics Atlanta" and D.O.G. Automotive was towards the top of the list that appeared and they had great reviews. I called, left a voicemail, and they returned my call within an hour or so. Due to the issue (needed new brake pads) Blandon offered to squeeze me into the busy schedule. When I arrived he explained everything to me from the process of what he would be doing, to the pricing; the turnaround time was quick, to boot. It's so important to build relationships like this when it comes to your vehicle. I will definitely be bringing my car back here when she needs fixing next. Thank you Blandon!

Blandon is great. I went to Toyota world for service and they gave a me a super expensive quote for repairs on my Camry. I went to his shop and he was able to do it for less than half that and it took way less time than I would have at Toyota world. He is very honest, fair, and professional. Would recommend to anyone.

My wife flew into Atlanta to pick up a G63 sight unseen from a nearby parking garage. Dead battery and car was a mess. Called D.O.G. spoke to Branlin (sp), the owner, he loaned her a jump box then after she got it to his shop he went over the car and made sure it was okay for my wife to drive back to Maryland. Charged me peanuts for quite a bit of work and reassurance. Many thanks and nice to know there is someone out there who does what I would do. Thanks again.

I was recently having car troubles including a power issue and my engine light coming on. I don't have the most trust when it comes to mechanics and was dreading having to take my car in. My friend recommended this place to me and I live down the street so I decided to take the chance. I could not be more thankful I did. When I arrived, I was immediately taken care of and the mechanic (I forgot his name!) tightened a loose terminal on my battery. For the engine light he tried to get me fixed up without any part replacements but we ultimately determined an oxygen sensor would have to be replaced. He told me to come back in a couple more days, which I did, and again, he dropped everything to get it replaced for me (knowing I was down to just a few days left to get my emissions done) and that did the trick. The same day I was able to get my test done and pass. No issues since (this was 3 weeks ago) and the cost was very reasonable. I will absolutely go back. He has restored my faith. Thank you!!

Every auto shop should aspire to be like D.O.G. -- honest, no-nonsense, reasonably priced, KIND, upfront, and with excellent turnaround times. I've gotten a valve cover gasket replacement and transmission oil change here for my 2004 Lexus, both times the work was fantastic and during the oil change they noticed my sunroof drains were clogged (and causing leaks inside the car) and they fixed it for FREE. I seriously walk away from working with them feeling indebted because of how good the service and price is. Extremely blessed to have this place walking distance from where I live, makes it so easy to get my car serviced here. Thank you!!!

This is probably the best auto service I have ever received. The staff was very professional and quick with their diagnosis for my car. I needed a new engine fan and the manage was able to order the part that day and had the car ready to go in less than 24 hours. They even did an oil change. The best part, the fees were not inflated, especially considering it’s in the middle of midtown. For women, the staff also did not make me feel uncomfortable in the slightest. Very good shop, I will definitely use their services again.
