D&T is not a place I would recommend taking your car to. My car was there 3 times in 2020 April, June and December for the same problem in fact my car is back there again new may 2021 they told me if I bring my car in on Monday and leave it for a couple days that they would be able to service it and see what the problem with my transmission is . today is Thursday of the following week I have called them 3 times since last Wednesday about my car they are just new telling me its the same problem that they have already fixed . and they don't know what to do to fix it .so my advice time anyone don't take ur car to D&T in Augusta ga.

I had my GMC Canyon transmission rebuilt by D&T, on recommendation from another shop in the area as they do not do trans work and sub it to D$T. The repair was completed as and when stated, and came in just a few dollars above the estimate, due to one additional part that usually is not done during the rebuild. So far the vehicle is preforming flawlessly. Very professional folks, give them a try should you have the need.

D&t put in a used transmission on my 2012 bmw 528i . Drive flawless now . Very satisfied with their work . Allowed me to test it before paying to make sure I was satisfied . Also a plus . Recommended if you need transmission work done.

I went in for a diagnostic only and was called back two days later being informed that they went ahead and fixed a problem on my vehicle without permission or being told to do so. They ended up Charging $140 for a pair of sway bar links, available at AutoZone for $30, totaling just under $300 for the whole job. Would STRONGLY advise using an alternate auto shop.

Said they could do a rebuild on a drop off transmission in 2 weeks. 2 months later it was ready and the original quote almost doubled. Nothing but attitude from them during the whole ordeal. Cost me the time and trans I dropped off as I had to purchase another one (elsewhere)to get my truck going. Couldn’t give a 0/5 star review unfortunately.
