The worst experience I ever had ! When I asked him why removing the licence plate frame, he said, " if you ask, you won't pass state inspection". $10 extra charge for just removing the frame which no other inspection stores do.

I came in for a inspection and the guy I believe the owner had a bad attitude. I had a question regarding registration and he immediately cut me off and started to yell at me. I told him he shouldn't yell and he is rude and he told me to get the Fxxx out! I was shocked! Don't come to this place!

The worst day ever in my life by going to this auto place for a simple car inspection. I recently moved to Quincy and picked this place as recommended by my families. Now I am not just disappointed, but extremely angry and disgusted by this place. It is a snowing day in Boston , I called this place before going to make sure they do have people on site for car inspection. When I arrived, the office door was closed, and all the garages doors are closed, though I clearly saw at least 3 people in the office and they saw me as well. I was polite enough not to disturb them by knocking the door and was standing in the rain/snow right in front (but outside) and called them again. The lady picked the call and looked like she came out but actually instead of opening the office door where I was right outside, she turned around and disappeared. I was still standing in the snow/rain waiting until I figured out that she may came out from the garage side. So I took the chance and went to the other side; couple minutes later she came out. By then I had been in the rain/snow for 15 mins; I kept asking her where shall I go in both Chinese and English, since it is snowing and raining hard. She looked like she had no idea what she was doing and she kept saying in English that it was because it was too cold...I guess she meant because it was so cold so they didn't open any doors...but excuse me, am I not cold by standing in the rain the past 15 mins; and why are you still letting me standing outside like this without pointing to me where shall I go first as your customer??????? Then she asked for my key and started moving my car, again still not telling me where shall I go. Eventually she pointed at a side door at the garage and told me I could go there...I thought it was a door to the office, then I found she just dumped me in a crappy garage with all the tools and the guy who was inspecting my car right there. Of course, I was very unhappy and can't wait to get out of this place asap. The guy asked me very rudely "tong xing zheng" which in Chinese means the authority to drive, so I gave him the drive license...he shouted at me again "not this one!!!", then I figured out he meant the "registry".....you can imagine how I felt at the moment after all these.....While I was texting my families, I found my car was gone, I guessed the inspection was done. Of course, no one told me at all. So I asked the guy who did the inspection and said where is my sticker and how much is the eservice? He started accusing me having attitude.....of course, we ended with a fight as you can imagine..... he even threatened that if I was not a girl, he would just beat me.......okay.....well, I start wondering if I am in the United States or some brutal areas in China (btw, I am a Chinese, I am very familiar with the Chinese services back in China, but even for someone like me who are used to such, it is still very hard for me to experience such in the US. No mention, these days, the service has improved in China so much and even back there, I won't be treated like a such.....honestly, I don't feel I was treated like a human being since the moment I standed in the rain/snow while they saw me right there.... ）

I brought a vehicle in for an inspection sticker… Despite reading some negative reviews about customer service, I found the person I dealt with to be very friendly and more than willing to help me. Do note that for an inspection, the business only accepts cash.

The worst experience ever! The guy is very rude and impatient! I wanted to cancel the inspection half way from his way, he locked me in the inspection box closed the door and wanted to hit me with his metal rod just because I wanted to cancel! It’s not safe, bad service and the worst experience in my life

I usually go to a shop in Braintree but my guy was on vacation so I drop my car off at DW. I needed my brake pads and rotors change. I told him I needed the car back the same day. Price was very reasonable and I got my car back the same day. I have been driving my car for about a month now. No more noise from the pad. I live in Quincy so maybe he will be my future guy/place to go.

Darren has been taking care of our cars for years now. He is honest, reliable and he will tell you if he thinks a repair is not worth the cost. He once stayed until 9:00 pm om a Friday night to fix my car because he knew I needed it for the weekend.

Darren at DW has been my go to guy for several years and is a great choice if you want a mechanic that will remember you and your car. If you have a bucket list of things to get done, he will be straight with you about what needs to be done, in what time frame and how much it's going to cost. He took care of regular maintenance, emissions issues, winter tire mounting/balancing and whatever else came up on my Camry and RX330. Cost listed above was for brakes - discs & pads. Don't know the current hourly rate. He has also been a great resource when looking for a new vehicle. Between the shop and the inspections he sees just about everything on the road and can help you decide on what models fit your driving style within budget. Rates are competitive, no problems working with extended warranty companies, easy scheduling and he is committed to great repairs and customer service.

My daughter needed to have her car inspected but she had just had foot surgery. I called on a Friday afternoon and was told to just bring it in. The tech took about 10/15 minutes, the car passed, and I paid $35.00. Easy as pie.

PLEASE do NOT come to this shop for any service work or inspection work if you have never been here before. The owner is indeed a rough individual as previous posters have mentioned. He accused me of "not trusting" him when I ask to see what the issue was with my car, e.g. a light that was out. He will nickel and dime you for a simple fix. He charged me $65 for a few LEDs that took about a minute to plug in. Then claimed his credit card machine had "bad signal" so he needed me to pay in cash. Rudeness is not an excuse for directness. The owner definitely takes care of his customers that has been there many times, but that's no excuse to not be professional to new people. If you speak Cantonese, then you might have better luck. But better to go somewhere else all together.

Do NOT!! ever go here unless you really want to ruin your feeling and waste your money and time. He is very rude and doesn't know what he is doing. He will overcharge you like you've never been overcharged like that before. I had to wait more than an hour but what I've got was his inappropriate attitude. Although it is two blocks away from home, I will NEVER ever go here again.

Don't go here!!! Unreasonable chargers!!! I went to D W Auto Services this afternoon for the State Inspection. Before I take the report, the person told me that $45, when I look at the report and I saw there is the fee only $35!!! I asked him why he charged me extra $10, he said because he took off the license plate frame for me(I didn't ask for it!!!). He took my license plate off without my permission and charged me extra $10 !!! Terrible service. Won't go back anymore in my whole life. I will let my families and friends know!!!

I just can’t find a negative star for this haunted place. This is a totally “HORRIBLE” place to go. I was trying to do a state inspection at this place, after I stopped by, I asked the owner how long it might take, since I will have to pick up something after that. Then all of the sudden, he stared to yelling at me saying” if you want the service, leave the car. Don’t ask any questions. Otherwise, go away! I don’t give a XXX about how you will review me online!” I mean, dude, I have never been to this place before and I have never seen you either. You are running a business, but are you serious?? Since I was so shocked, I asked more of my friends around, (quincy is a small community you know), he is famous for rip people off and over charge them . Especially for state inspection, since you can not go to anywhere else after his shady garage. I”m so happy that I went away. People all have bad days, but we don’t pass that to others, especially your customers. Who’s going to deal with you ah? loser

My dad brought my car for a car inspection here today. The mechanic told my father, my car's white led headlights were blue, and are illegal. He threatened to give my dad a ticket if he doesn't get them replaced now. He ended up scamming my father out of 30 dollars for a headlight. I don't know where this guy came from, but no mechanic has the right to authorize a fine. Don't come to this place.

DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE. I went in today to simply have my car inspection sticker renewed. Given how small and packed this shop was located, I thought to ask the shop guy/owner to where to position my car so it will be convenient for him. All I got was, "Just put the car outside". So... I did. When he was finally ready to check my car, he directed to me my car into the garage. As I backed my car into the garage, the shop guy literally yelled, "USE YOUR HEAD", and signaled me to bring my car in the other way. I have to maneuver my car several times to put it in because of how small the place was. I was so aggravated on how rude he was that I reminded him that I'm a customer here and you (him) should have the decency to treat me nicer (mind you, those were my exact words; I didn't cuss at him at all) , given that I'm throwing you money to get a sticker renewed. His response was, "OH YOU THE CUSTOMER!? GET OUT! I don't need to baby you! Go find some other place! I don't need you!". NEVER ever... again will I go to this place. And I'm not the only one that have experienced this. Apparently, another auto shop owner told me that many customers were very disturbed by how unpleasant this place is. This place DOES NOT DESERVE 4.5 stars.

I called and asked if they will be able to do car inspections. They stated yes. I drove there about 3 minutes away guy was laughing with friends in the office and a customer waiting in the garage area. I had no idea where to drop off my keys, or who even worked there. I asked how long it may be until im seen , he stated "I don't know you wait until we tell you". Rushed. Would not recommend

You are better off going elsewhere to get your state inspection done. I dropped by to get a state inspection, and was told that the "tinted glasses" would fail the state inspection. Not knowing much I did a quick search on the related law. It says 35% is the minimum UV passthrough required, and my tinted glasses are at 55% block rate which should be fine. I then quickly took my car to another body shop and got the state inspection done within 10 minutes. I was completely speechless at how much time I wasted with this place.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would!! Horrible customer service and overall super disrespectful. They are the definition of unprofessional. Needed a simple inspection and they just gave me attitude and laughed. Actually laughed at me for asking a simple question. Doesn't seem like they want any business anyway with the way they treat customers.

This man is ruthless and heartless. Dont ever bring your car here, I’ll use my self as a sacrifice and lesson to you all. And I hope you listen. As you can see I’m not the only negative review he has on here, I just wished I listened and read the reviews earlier on. I brought in my Toyota Prius to fix the caliber and brakes, he told me my car will be ready later in the day, I couldn’t pick it up when he called, so I said I will get it on Monday because he’s closed on Sundays. Monday comes by I was working all day so I couldn’t pick it up. He calls me on Wednesday just to tell me my car battery is dead, I should bring a battery with me, I was confused because it was working fine. I arrive there he wouldn’t even help me put in the battery, plus he wanted to have my car towed thank goodness the towing company gave me a heads up, I don’t know what he did to my car, between those days, but my battery was fine when I brought it here and now it’s done. So save your self money and stress and go else where, there are better places to get your car fixed, if I could leave a negative star I would. This man doesn’t deserve to be in business, im sure there are many lawsuits against this scam artist

I came here several times for whole week. Every time i was told tomorrow. I came on 2pm on Friday and was told to leave the car without any estimate because it's too late. The guy there just "didn't want" to do rough estimate. I don't know what they are doing in this shop but they definitely not interested in doing car repairs for you. Fortunately, there are other good repairs in short distance
