Came to Foreign Motorcars at the suggestion of my long-time (40 years) mechanic who was retiring. Found an exceptionally clean and well organized shop, plus a personable and knowledgeable owner, who quickly diagnosed a cooling system issue. Repairs were made on time and for less than estimate. I strongly recommend Foreign Motorcars, happy to now have them as my go-to place. UPDATE November 2025: came to Foreign Motorcars for only the second time and now feel the need to post another 5-stars. David and staff diagnosed my issue, identified alternatives and discussed with me, then performed work on time and on budget - can't ask for more.

Although I’ve owned BMWs for many years this was my first experience with Foreign Motorcars. Dave was absolutely great, staying after hours to track down and repair my problem (electrical, the worst) despite my telling him that I did not need the car that evening. Upon picking up the car he throughly explained the problem and showed me the defective part. The charge was less than I expected given the time it took to diagnose and fix the problem. If and when I experience a problem that I am unable to handle myself I will not hesitate to entrust the repair of my vehicle to Foreign Motorcars!

I have always trusted David and his staff for expert service. Nobody knows more about BMW cars than these guys. I recently had an extremely challenging issue with my Z4 convertible top. Dave took on the challenge and did the repair for probably half of what the dealership would have charged if they could have fixed it all. Dave is incredibly knowledgeable and handles my car as if it’s his own. He’ll never pressure you and present you with all the facts and his repair suggestions— allowing you to decide what’s best for you and your vehicle.
