Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience at Dallas Precision Imports. I took my 2015 C300 Mercedes to them to diagnose a hesitating gear shift. They misdiagnosed the problem, insisted that replacing a part would fix the problem, charged me $500, did not fix the problem and refused to even issue a partial refund. Rob called me and said I needed to have a part changed to fix the gear shifting issue. I agreed and unfortunately this did not fix the problem. In fact, it made zero difference. When I took the Mercedes back to them, they agreed to take a second look and it soon became apparent that this was out of their wheelhouse and they did not have a clue why this problem was occurring. They should have been up front and more transparent about their capabilities with modern Mercedes transmissions and I would've gladly taken my car elsewhere. Since Rob insisted that spending $500 to change a part would fix the problem, when it became apparent that his diagnosis clearly was incorrect, Rob/Dallas Precision Imports should have done the right thing and issued at least a partial refund. Deeply disappointed in the overall experience. Taking my car to Dallas Precision Imports was a waste of time and money.

Great team. I live in NY and was buying a vehicle online in the Frisco area. I reached out to these folks over the phone and asked them if they could be my eyes and ears on the ground and do a used car inspection for me before i spent the money to fly down and pickup the new vehicle. They were able to get the truck in the next day and help me over the phone to review every part of the truck. They sent me a detailed report and helped close my deal. And the price was RIDICULOUSLY fair. Tracey who answered the phone is fantastic! Really appreciate the work and thank you for all your help couldn't have bought my new car without you guys!

This is one of the most honest mechanic shops I have ever done business with. My vehicle ended up being a problem child, and Kyle treated me more than fair. Did the job and followed up with the car after issues arose. I can say wholeheartedly this is the place to take your German vehicle to without a second thought. Also they provide a more than generous military discount. This is where I will always take my vehicle to when I can't or don't want to do the work myself. He even told me to bring it up there and he would walk me through a job he was sure I could handle on my own. Superb job.

i love working on the cars that i own whenever they need maintenance but there are certain thing that as a regular guy i just cant do/ don't have the tools for it. so whenever I know I need to take it to a shop to handle the rest. i trust this shop always. they are kind, extremely quick in getting your car worked on. and unlike many shops THEY WON'T LIE TO YOU. i love my car. but i especially love it whenever its in its best shape. special thanks to kyle who has been the primary mechanic that has worked on my car over the past few years.

I have always had an excellent experience working with Dallas Precision Imports. They are my "go-to" place to service and fix anything needed for my Ford F-150 and my wife's BMW. I was having trouble with Ford F150 and the dealer where I purchased it from couldn't figure out the problem. Dallas Precision Imports was able to diagnose the issue and went above and beyond to find a solution to fix it. They have incredible communication and care about their customers. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I came here a couple of times for them to do maintenance work like oil changes, rotate tires, etc. They all do a great job taking care of my vehicle. I have an old car, 2007 Kia Optima and it's running like a champ. Jeff is an awesome technician who always knows how to fix/take car of my car.

I took me 20 years to find THE place to take our vehicles, and THIS IS IT! The staff is super friendly, communicative, and helpful. I love that they take the time to explain what is wrong and what is the best bang for my buck on a budget. They also actually check the vehicle before returning it to you. I can't tell you how many other places have returned a "repaired" vehicle to us and shrugged their shoulders when the issue is still there after paying a large bill. This leads me to prices. This is the best price in town! They offer various discounts, such as for teachers, and I have yet to beat their price or their service. Highly recommend!

I needed a window regulator replaced on my BMW 328i. This is one of the hardest cars to replace the regulator so I decided to have Precision do the work instead of myself. This was the first time I've used them even though I've heard numerous recommendations from co-workers who also drive imports and are frequent customers. Needless to say they got it fixed and fixed right. My car is a hard top convertible so getting the window just right and not too high when rolling it up is essential. They spent one day replacing the regulator and after the repair the window was giving them problems with being too high on the track. It took them a whole another day to make it right. A job that typically only takes 8 hours, took about 16 hours but I was only charged with what they originally quoted me. They did all that extra labor at no charge to me and they worked until it was perfect. Kyle was awesome to work with! They just gained a life long customer. Can't recommend enough.

We went into Dallas Precision for a 2nd opinion when Christian brothers told our Insurance company that my accident had nothing to do with engine issues. I had no engine issues prior to the accident which led me to believe it had to be caused from the accident. Dallas Precision was able to find the route cause from the accident and was able to provide proof to the insurance company to get me a new engine. The Owner, Michael, even stepped in to help us deal with the insurance company. They went above and beyond to get the situation resolved. Never been to a mechanic shop that actually cared to get us back on the road again. They also have manageable prices and willing to work with you. I would highly recommend!

My 1-star review is not based on the work performed at Dallas Precision Imports. They did fix my AC in May 2023(cost $3200). However, my AC stopped working less than a year later, which DPI advised me was due to another component failure. When I initially called DPI about my AC, I told them I didn’t want to spend any more money on the car, but was hoping they could take a look at it. I made the incorrect assumption that they would look at it for free. I feel that when I told them I didn’t want to spend any more money on the car, that they should have informed me they would charge me $150 for their checkout. They didn’t. If they had told me, I would not have brought the car in. I tried to discuss the issue with Mike. He did give me a fair amount of time on the phone, but he didn’t agree with my point that I should have been advised of the $150 charge, when I clearly said BEFORE I brought the car in that I didn’t want to spend any more money. Obviously, I should have double checked whether they would charge me. I just figured it was the same system they worked on already, and that they would be interested to know why the AC they had repaired wasn’t working. Again, I’m not saying that the initial work they did was faulty in any way. I just expected a little customer service with a follow up visit about the same issue on the same car.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE no matter what they say. I took my Range Rover velar here for a suspension issue, my suspension was way to low to drive so I called them and asked to make sure if they can work on range rovers and they said they can fix any issues hardware or software related issues as well programming I know not all shops do that so I double checked couple times before driving my car there in that condition. Next day got a call saying it’s a software issue all the hardware is fine just needs programming for the suspension module which they can’t do it in the shop because they don’t have the tool to do software for it. I was like why did you said that you can do anything like program and software the vehicle when I specifically asked about it and then they were like we can fix small software issues but not this complex software issues or whatever. So I took my car to my regular guy( I came here first because it’s closer to my house so didn’t want to drive the car that low to my guy who is like 30 mins) turns out it needs a new suspension airbag because it has a leak they got the part fixed it now everything works fine. I called them to get my diagnostic fees back because they gave me a wrong diagnostics but the guys kept arguing that they stand on there report even though it was completely wrong and now I drive my car with just replacing the airbag. They don’t know what they are doing so beware of this place.

I highly recommend Dallas Precision Imports. I get my oil changed here. But last week I went in because my check engine light started to came on & off. They diagnosed my vehicle & Kyle informed me the codes that were coming up were due to a problem with the camshaft & timing chain. But he also let me know Mercedes had extended their warranty on this issue!!! I had no idea. He saved me roughly $3500. He took it a step further & called Mercedes-Benz, confirmed it for me & provided me the name & number of the person he spoke to. The integrity, kindness & exceptional care he shows his customers is rare in this business. I highly recommend anyone having car problems to come here first. The staff are all very friendly & greet you with a smile. They make you feel comfortable whether waiting inside or getting a courtesy ride home. I give this place 10 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I regret taking my car here for repairs. I have a 2015 BMW X5. I had and AC problem but they also said my water pump was slightly leaking and it needed replacement. I authorized the repairs. That's when the problems started. The mechanic they had working on my car quit and the repairs to the AC were not done properly. I had to take it back 4 times to get the AC fixed and to this day it has not worked properly. I now have problems that were never a problem before with regard to the AC. I requested calls from Mike but never received a call. I couldn't keep bringing my car back so I moved on. I always suspected the water pump may have never been replaced but I couldn't prove it without spending extra money by going to a different repair shop. Now, just a few days outside of the 1 year warranty my water pump failed and coolant leaked out rapidly. I would be willing to bet it was never replaced and this company successfully stole my money. I regret trusting this company. Also never tell them how much money you have to spend on a repair. They were able to quote a price for that exact dollar amount.

I would never go again to this shop. Just because of their negligence of tightening a bolt after the oil change caused me ~$2800 to change the complete oil pan.

Thanks to Mike, Gary and Jeffery at Dallas Precision Imports! i had some minor issues that turned major with my Porsche Cayenne GTS. They were able to quickly correct them after an auto parts store misdiagnosed what was happening with my vehicle. Now i am back at full strength.
