Highest accolades to Garrett, Keith and their very capable staff of Dan’s Automotive ! Fair and honest, upon diagnosing what was required to bring my Mercedes up to standard they were on it, and in a matter of days the SUV felt like it was new ! Many thanks to all the fine people of Dan’s Automotive !

Garrett and Keith are always so helpful and my car is in and out in one day. They take really good care of my 1998 Mercedes. They are very competent and trustworthy. I never have to worry. They are spot on with the repairs and I never feel I was overcharged. I highly recommend for quality service, competency and price.

Let me preface this by saying I absolutely hate mechanics and have always felt lied to or taken advantage of. From the first call to pick up of the car, the owner, and staff at Dan's has been phenomenal. I called to get general information on maintenance repairs for my BMW. The service was impeccable from the first call. I detailed what I needed completed. The gentleman said he would send me an estimate in a few hours, and he did. He even followed up to make sure I received and if I had any questions. I scheduled the following week. Dropped the vehicle off in the morning and picked up in the afternoon. They uncovered additional repairs needed and coordinated the ordering of parts and follow up for the next day. They even offered me ride to work. I highly recommend and feel grateful to have this mechanic I can call on. Service is everything!

0 stars. Took my sprinter van here for an oil change, slow coolant leak, and to investigate a hum in the driveline. Got quoted close to $3k, accepted the work as I needed it done asap. Come to pick up the van and within 10 seconds I can tell that they did not fix the humming noise, which was diagnosed as a bad wheel bearing. Not even close to reducing the noise, it was absolutely misdiagnosed and misrepaired anyway. They denied all responsibility in the unnecessary repair. Also, they did not align my van after replacing the knuckle, and did not mention it to me. After asking why they didnt align it Dan told me it cost them too much time and money to align it themselves. Took it to another shop and they told me the alignment was so bad my tires would have gone bald in <1k miles, another couple hundred $ spent. Next, within 50 miles of my drive home my low coolant light comes on. It was leaking more coolant than it was when I first came in. What a joke. Took it back to their shop as they told me they would "take care of it". Next day they quote me nearly $400 to replace the auxiliary coolant pump, as now that was the source of the leaking. I needed it done asap so I accept. I take a look at the repair and they taped the pump on with electrical tape because they broke the bracket that supports it. Didn't even think to mention this to me. I look at the coolant level and its filled to the brim, way above the max. How am I supposed to know if its still leaking if its boiling over the reservoir? Also shows they didnt even heat cycle the engine after doing their repairs. Worst mechanics alive. Should have been more careful and taken a look at these issues myself, or taken my van to any other shop. Dan's diagnosed a new wheel bearing and new radiator that I'm not convinced was necessary at all. Turned out to be a $3k+ bill to get an oil change and fix a $80 leaking pump. Absolute scam artists. Never coming here again, telling everyone I know to strongly avoid.

Our Sprinter went into limp- in mode. Dan’s Automotive was recommended by another repair shop. Dan’s owner, short-handed, “too busy” came out to clear the codes for us anyway. Figured out the problem -simple tightening of a clamp, easily fixed and we were on our way within 10 minutes. Honest, knowledgeable, wonderful service.

A friend referred me to Dan's as I have a Mini Cooper like her. Up until this point I had always been a Chain Car Place ie.. Firestone. I had a great educating experience here and prefer now to go to a lace that knows my type of car and specializes in it. Great customer service, communication with fair prices. Thank You Keith

Website says all makes and models welcome. Well, I guess that is unless you own a make or model that is not... Huh, ok. Your business, your prerogative, but then you should take that statement off your advertising. Good thing there are plenty of other mechanics in town I guess.

Go to Dan’s if you like dealing with shady work, terrible customer service, and waiting for a tow truck. My VW Jetta TDI broke down and Dan’s automotive was nearby and had good reviews. The car was dropped off on a Friday afternoon and they quickly diagnosed the timing belt and cam sensor as the problem and got parts ordered. I told them to take their time to thoroughly inspect the car and let me know what they find. I got a call Monday afternoon saying the car was ready to go and that I was in luck since the Cam sensor didn’t have to be changed out after all which saved me $200. I picked up the car and had to get my tire patched since it was leaking air. I don’t know if the leak was caused by the tow company or Dan’s. I went to Costco right down the road and noticed right away that the car wasn’t running great. The Costco employees couldn’t get my car to start to get it out of the bay, but I was able to rev it a bit to get it going enough to get me home. I took my wife for a test drive to explain what I had experienced so she could explain it to Dan’s when she took it back in. The car died in an intersection and would not start again. I got the car home and looked to see if there was anything obvious happening. I noticed that there were some bolts missing on my fuel filter housing and the cover to the timing belt had been put back, but not clipped in. I called Dan’s to tell them the car died and was told that “it must be something else then and what kind of maintenance has been done to the car.” They didn’t offer any solutions other than bring the car back in. I got the car towed back to Dan’s at my expense and told them to keep me updated on what they found. The next call I got was to tell me the car was ready, and I would have to pay another $400 since they had to replace the Cam sensor. They never called to get authorization for the work or to inform me of additional costs not covered by warranty. After some arguing about why that wasn’t done during the initial visit, they removed 1 hour of labor to cover the cost of getting the car towed back to the shop bringing the cost down to about $290. I spoke with Dan who was really mad that they had to cover the cost of the tow since “there was no way they could have known the Cam sensor was bad because the car was running” and “we could just start replacing every sensor like they do at the dealership, but we try to save you money.” After some back and forth, I paid the bill so I could put this awful experience behind me. The car was running better this time but died again the next day. I will find another shop to do business with and so should you.

Took in my car to get the wheel baring and casing replaced. Was done quick and came out great. It was my first time at this shop after having multiple issues with Hans Wittler’s Automotive (Don’t recommend going to Hans) But this shop is honest with their work and great customer service. Will be a returning customer with any other issues on my car.

We were traveling and noticed a loose plastic cover under the car. I called and Keith answered. Moments later All was repaired and he even pointed out some issues we didn’t see before. Very transparent and fair. Got the piece fixed better than the manufacturer. They are out here serving up blessings! If your traveling and need a quick repair, don’t doubt, just call them.

I needed to find someone I could trust to work on my Cayenne, as the dealership has become ridiculous, with how far out they can get you in and the cost. I can say without a doubt Dan’s Automotive is the place! They were able to quickly identify the issue and had it fixed within the same day! Fast, friendly service at a reasonable price, what more could you ask for? I will be coming here for all my Porsche needs in the future. Thank you!

Took my car in to get the intake manifold fixed. It did not get fixed since several months of my check engine light continually coming on because it was not fixed properly. I’ve had to take it back several times and I end up in the same situation. Then I went in with a check engine light for low oil. They told me that I needed a new turbo which would’ve been $4000 check it for a second opinion it was not the turbo. It was an oil separator which didn’t even cost me a fraction so please continue to take your car here if you want to be ripped off and then they refuse to give me my money back for what I paid for the intake manifold so I can take it somewhere to get it properly fixed by people who are not trying to rip me off. What a terrible way to treat disabled veterans. all the receipts to back up everything I just claimed.

Dan's Automotive did work on my daughter's VW Golf and I don't have words of how happy I am with their service! They are a stellar group of people that work their, they do great work, so much so that I am now taking my Honda Ridgeline in to have the timing belt and water pump replaced because it's due. When I called to inquire about price Keith was awesome on the phone and was able to give me an estimate with tax included for that work to be completed. Best shop in the state!

Had a serious brake issue and Garrett dropped everything and got me in right away even though he was booked out 3 weeks. As usual they did a great job like they always have for me on and off for more than 35yrs! They're attentive to my needs and I couldn't recommend them more because of this and I don't have to worry about my issues never being taken care of to my satisfaction with these folks! That being said I'm a mechanic and have some incite as to who are the real pros in the business and that's why I choose to come here when needed.
