This was my first time working with a collision repair shop. GEICO recommended I bring my car to Dave Illg's and they made the entire process very easy. Donna, who commonly would answer the phone, was very nice and professional. She was clear about the service and everything that was needed from me. The repairs were done in a reasonable time frame and the work looked great. Hopefully won't have car trouble like this again, but if I did, Dave Illg's would be the first shop I would call.

I had an awesome experience with these guys! Dropped my car off on a Wednesday and it was ready by Friday. The right rear bumper and quarter panel looked brand new!!! The paint job was AMAZING!!! Will definitely do business with them again!

I just needed an estimate on my vehicle after someone crashed into my bumper. I knew the car was really an old junker, but wanted to make sure it was safe to drive and see what I could do to repair it. They evaluated my car for free and gave me an honest opinion without trying to sell me on unnecessary services that were worth more than my car. This place is definitely the place to go if you have the unfortunate circumstance of getting into an accident.

This shop was Allstate’s certified shop and I was hesitant because of its location but gave it a go. I should have followed my gut. Dave illgs first did not fix my bumper the only painted my trailer hitch and replaced a plastic cover. They also broke the plastic cover and attached it with the bumpers elements. Also they broke the spare tire lock removing the old plastic. When I went to pick up my truck they told me I would have to pay 191$ to repair the lock they broke. Their mechanic tried to repair it with epoxy and hide but it was evident. Also upon pickup I realized my vehicle had been driven 200 miles more than what was recorded at drop off. They had no excuse except that it was a paper work mistake. The company was unprofessional and didn’t know the proper parts that needed to be fixed. The also lied on the estimate they sent the insurance company. DONT GO TO DAVE ILLGS COLLISION REPAIR in Nashua New Hampshire they are crooks

Within one year I brought my car to Dave Illg's twice November 2012 and August 2013. It's a great one stop shop where insurance and the rental car agents will meet you there and walk you through the process (assuming you are working with insurance). Both times I worked with my insurance who was very accommodating and put me in a rental car within minutes of dropping my car off. They even called me each day to update me on my car's status. The repair shop did a great job both times (working on the front and rear of my car, even got me a good deal on tires) and fixed my car within the same week. I was very impressed at the turn around time and then seeing my car again it looked brand new. I didn't deal directly with the repair shop until I picked up my car and paid both times. They were very pleasant and walked me through my final bill making sure I didn't have any questions and emphasized that my repairs were guaranteed by both the shop and my insurance company. Both times I was walked out to my car for a final inspection and handshake. I certainly recommend the shop to anyone looking for collision repairs.

I would give 0 stars but i cant. Took my car there because of my insurance and quoted 2 weeks for repair… ended up being a MONTH and + days (second time taking it there and second time taking more than what they said). My insurance even extended my rental to the max days and that WASNT EVEN ENOUGH. I had a flight @boston and had to PAY for someone to take me because at this time I didn’t have my car nor the rental. Not even as courtesy offered a rental and after I ASKED for one; still got nothing. ‘Rick’ will be the ‘’expert’’ to tell you stuff that are NOT true just to convince you on why ‘they cant’ or why something that is NOT RIGHT -it is lol. Also if you call asking for an update they will have to call you back because they dont know… and YOU will have to call them because they dont call you. My car has ORIGINAL parts and when the first accident happened they ordered OFF MARKET parts, even tho they’ll charge your insurance like original ones. Luckily the off market piece didn’t worked out so, they had to order original ones. Also apparently they dont ‘change’ off market parts if your car has them, but will order off market for you without even letting you know. They will make you waste your time, bring a bunch of excuses and just make you deal with wtv the outcome is unless you involve and insist your insurance that the car has something wrong.

DO NOT bring your car here, seriously. They are scammers. My insurance sent me here for an estimate on MINOR DAMAGE (one car door handle was broken from being backed into) & they wrote an insane estimate totaling the car, stating the damage is more expensive than the car is worth. It’s a beautiful Audi that runs perfectly fine & has brand new brakes/tires, etc. Their estimate included a new quarter panel (the dent on mine could be pulled out by a plunger) and entirely new door + a number of unnecessary add ons upon review from another professional. Basically they wanted to offer me dirt to buy the car from me so they could turn around & sell it at auction. They would not give me another option. Now they are holding my car hostage and will not release the vehicle to me unless I “pay them for their time of taking the car apart.” They had to “take the car apart” to complete the “FREE estimate” so I am now being charged hundreds of dollars to get my own vehicle back, unrepaired in the same condition it was dropped off in. Seriously I wish I just continued to drive the car with no door handle so I didn’t have to deal with this. Dont go here.

Seems like they wanted the car to part out more than helping me repair it. When assesing damages they took apart far more than necessary to do so, and then when asked about the dead battery after sitting in their lot for four days, they said they can jump start it but is my problem the battery was toast.

If I can save anyone the time and headache, I advise that you DO NOT bring your vehicle to this company. I thought I was in good hands by bringing my vehicle here and boy was I dead wrong. I dealt with Rick, who informed me that they will assess my vehicle right away and get to working on my car, gave me a set deadline when my vehicle will be done. Everything Rick was telling me seemed promising. When I went in to sign paperwork, I was asked if I wanted to receive text messages about updates on my vehicle. I received a text message just within about 1-2 days after dropping off my car. The text stated my car is currently being worked on and everything is going as planned. I thought to myself, wow this is great, they're already working on my vehicle. My vehicle was hit pretty bad, it was parked and someone did a hit & run. Rick told me it will take them about 4 weeks to fix my vehicle. So, as 3 weeks have passed by, I decided I would give Rick a call to see how everything is coming along. Rick states that everything is going as planned and the vehicle should be done by the deadline date. As the deadline date got closer, I have not yet heard anything, so decided I would call again. Also, the girls who work at the desk (Morgan & Donna), obviously they just go by what the mechanic or whoever is telling them what to say about vehicle updates. Anyways, so I call again to see when the vehicle will be finished. One of the girls tell me, oh it will be done 1/30/24 (which is the deadline). So I go ahead and coordinate my day, leaving work early and making sure I had someone to pick up my son from school. As I am leaving for work, my gut feeling was telling me to call them again to make sure things are still going as planned. Of course as I call, they tell me that my vehicle is not finished and well, they really do not know exactly when they will be finished. Apparently Rick was on vacation, so it seemed like no one really knew what was going on with my vehicle. I was given 4 different dates as to when my vehicle would be done and when those dates came by, I was told my vehicle still was not done and they are waiting for this that and the other thing. They were just beating around the bush. Communication there is terrible. So I finally get my car back, but it is still not done. There were some minor things that needed fixing and they were still waiting for the parts to arrive, which they failed to tell me when they told me I could pick up my vehicle. So they tell me as soon as the parts come in they will call me and I can bring my car back. I stopped dealing with Rick at that point, because he is incompetent. I spoke with Dan, who is very nice, but clearly overwhelmed with his duties. He made sure I was taken care of and everything on my vehicle was done and fixed. We were still having a small issue with my gas tank door, Dan told me he would look into it and call me to bring my car back. Her asked that I send him an e-mail to remind him as he tends to forget. I have yet to hear back and I did not send an e-mail because I just do not want to deal with this place anymore. Dan was very empathetic and apologized to me numerous times and told me that obviously things with my car and communication fell through the cracks on multiple occasions. On one of those days, as I was sitting and waiting for my vehicle to be brought out, I can hear all the drama and gossiping going on between employees. One of the girls at the desk stated, no one seems to know anything around here. I could not agree more!!!

If you like to be without your car for 2 months and have several things broken extra, this place is for you! My experience... my car was rear ended and the repair was fully covered by insurance, this place was the closest one in network. When my car was "ready" after 2 months and several push backs, I needed to point out to them, professionals, what they did wrong as they cleary had problem with vision... at least they redone the job without arguing and with much better outcome later. I don't know, maybe they treated me this way becuase English is my second language and I am a woman. Anyway, will not come back, not even for their lifetime guarantee. Quality of the paint was low on the replaced part, it got scratched after one ice removal. Also, I needed to replace windshield side panels after their repairs, as they forgot to say they broke them and I found out it at car wash when it just fall off! I did it myself ($150 for parts + YT video).

I have never taken a vehicle to worse place. The shop reported replacing parts which is clear an evident they did not and simply tried to hide they reinstalled parts that were damaged. They also do not stand by their work. Don’t walk away from going here run!!

Great experience overall and I highly recommend. They communicate regularly, they were able to service my lexus earlier than expected, and the final cost was less than my quote. Very professional. I've had many car repairs over the years with other companies in Nashua. And I will say... look no further than Dave's.

Brought in a car to get a quote for a door to be repainted and some minor bodywork and no one followed up for scheduling for a week. Turns out the guy who gave me the quote doesn't work there anymore, the shop knew he was leaving, and wanted me to bring the vehicle in to get, "re-evaluated", because they believe he under quoted the work. Why have the guy write quotes and waste my time if he's out the door next week? Unprofessional treatment in my opinion.

I got into a little fender bender. I called my insurance company, they recommended Dave Illg's collision, and it was the best thing I could ever do for my car.. They were very polite. Donna was excellent, She told me they would be sending me updates via text message or email, However I preferred. They had my car done in a week.Thank you so much. Once I picked my car up, it looked so beautiful. They had washed it and cleaned it. Thank you so much for everything. If this should ever happen in the future I would go there immediately. I'm hoping it doesn't, but if it does, they are my first choice.!!!!!

Bring your car somewhere else, I promise you don’t want the headache from bringing your car to Dave illgs. Took 3 weeks to for it to look like the photos then gave it back to fix correctly and another 2 weeks before I got it back.

Needed a repair after an accident and they were able to get me in quickly - literally the next day - to do the damage estimate and then started the repairs the following Monday. During the initial inspection, the gentleman was very thorough and walked me through his thoughts of what would need repairs. He estimated that it would take roughly 3 weeks to get all the repairs done. I was able to drop my car off Sunday night because they have a handy key drop box. The entire staff was great about communication and letting me know how my car was doing and when it might be ready. The repairs were actually finish a little faster than I was estimated - about 2.5 weeks instead of 3 - and one of the staff did a walk through with me of everything they repaired or replaced. I really appreciated how thorough they are with their work. Hopefully, I won't need more car repairs any time soon 🤞 but next time I do, Dave Illg's will be at the top of my list.

Bad experience, They are the worst bad quality they are way too slow and as you can see from other reviews when u go to get your car it's messed up like they can not see the mess they made on a 1 year old car. I went once I will never go back It took Dave and his team of misfits like 8 weeks to do a minor repair it was like $5k repair job and they ended putting scratches all over the car in areas that was not near the repair. They disconnected the battery and scratched the front of the car and claimed they did not open the hood yet I have pictures of it in the shop hood up and you have to reset the radio when the battery is disconnected The car sat around shop torn apart while the crew worked around it and scratching it up and then when he said it was done I went to get it and noticed that the new fender he put on was missing paint and had paint bubbles everywhere and then Dave Ilgs suggested that if it was a leased vehicle just return as is and they won't notice it. They are a bunch of hacks low quality auto body repair shop. Don not waste your time with these Bozo’s. I gave 1 star only because thats the lowest and u need 1 to post otherwise I would go with no star. read reviews first and find a better shop. take pics of your car before u go anywhere for body work bumper to bumper for proof of condition. low quality bad service

Took my vehicle to them because gieco sent me to them. They destroyed my vehicle by cutting parts out. And kept parts to make me doing the repairs harder. Brackets that went from my bumper support missing. Screw that held one of the brackets completely cut off. So even if they gave the brackets I would not be able to use them. And to add to insult they broke the emblem off of my hood. Wich I was willing to let go. Now that the real repair shop show me everything that's broken or missing, I'm irritated. P.s they do all this to upcharge my insurance company. There estimate was $4200 i got a real shop to do everything for about $1700. I had the worst experience dealing with this place. The ladies inside are very nice. It's the garbage thieving mechanics that got me upset.

I totaled my car and needed someone to tell me that for insurance purposes. I called over 10 different Allstate approved bodyshops from Concord all the way down to Nashua and every single one told me that they can take my car now, but would not look at it for at least 2 weeks. Dave Illg's did not see me as just a paycheck despite being a young woman with car problems. When I called it was a breath of fresh air because they said that they'd take my car today and promised me they'd look at it- I asked for a timeframe on when I'd get an estimate and they said they would look at the car and be able to tell me right away and that exactly what they did. All of the other bodyshops I called claimed that they could not look at the car for at least 2 weeks and Dave Illg's helped me unload my car, looked at it, gave me a verbal estimate, and gave me a clear timeline of when to expect my insurance company to be receiving my written estimate- despite the fact that I came in an hour before close on a Friday. I would recommend Dave Illg's to anyone looking for a competent, compassionate, professional, and honest body shop.
