I've been bringing my Mercedes here for service for a few years and the work quality has been fine. My vehicle runs well after their maintenance. However, during my last visit in October, the service advisor asked me what was included in the standard service and then told me he'd have to look it up. Even if he needed to verify details internally, telling a customer this undermines confidence in the team's expertise. When I provided feedback about this, the response focused on how "every brand has different standards" rather than addressing my concern about advisor knowledge and professionalism. For specialized vehicles like Mercedes, I expect the service team to be confident and knowledgeable about manufacturer requirements, and to handle any uncertainty behind the scenes rather than making the customer question their expertise. The advisor I worked with is apparently no longer with the company, but the experience made me question whether this is the right shop for Mercedes-specific maintenance needs.

So I I scheduled an appointment online last night, for 7:30 in the morning. Right when they open. Now, if you have an appointment, shouldn’t let mean that you get in right away? When I logged in this morning at the outfit, I was told that they would not be able to look at my car until the afternoon. Maybe tomorrow morning. if you’re that busy, don’t show open appointments on your website. I left my car in there, and went across the street to eat breakfast and was gone for about an hour or so, and I went right back over there and picked up my car. I don’t have the time fellas. I appreciate that you guys do a good job from all of the great reviews, but if you don’t have the ability to keep a scheduled appointment, don’t even take appointments. Just say walk-ins only. I don’t have this issue when I schedule service at Pep Boys. other than maybe 30 or 40 minutes. But generally, if you have an appointment with him at 1 PM, and you get there at 1 PM and there’s somebody getting the same type of service ahead of you, when they’re done you’re the next in line regardless of who came in in the morning. Or the previous afternoon.

They gave the car a thorough going over, finding only a bad CV boot and leaky valve covers, repairs that the crew completed ahead of schedule and at a very reasonable price. As owner of a Honda Civic and a Ford Fusion, I have patronized Dave's Ultimate Automotive in both Round Rock and Pflugerville. I am pleased with their very professional service. Their technicians are ASE certified, so they know what they're doing. They offer quality NAPA Parts as well. Dave's will call you in advance to explain what needs done and why they are doing any repairs, then you okay what's to be done. I got my car serviced today and took advantage of a special promotional discount. They offer a new customer discount, FYI. If you are seeking quality work and professionalism in getting your car serviced, I recommend Dave's. While they may not be dirt cheap, you get good work and accountability. Cheapness has a price, as well.

Took my truck in for squeaky front brakes. They greased everything up at no charge which did quite them down for a cpl days but mentioned it may not fix the issue. Squeak came back so now I'm back for new pads/rotors and the cost was very reasonable. Happy to have found them and will gladly bring my truck back when it needs something else.

These guys really went out of their way to address some concerns i had on a transmission repair warranty issue. It was especially sticky with my 3rd party warranty involved. I was ultimately taken care of by staff and received direct communication from the owner of Dave's Automotive himself. He took the time to meet with me in person and work out an agreement that was fair for everybody. I would definitely use Dave's again based on my several repairs with them, and especially this interaction. Auto repair is a tangled web, and these guys are honest, reasonable, and very knowledgeable on their craft.

I am overly pleased by the respect, support, technical skills and professionalism displayed by staff. My 1997 GMC tSUV was serviced as requested and, upon checking out, I was given a detailed run-down of the work provided. Moreover, during the repairs I received periodic telephone calls from Anthony who updated me on their progress. He, as noted above, has been professional, caring, supportive and of good cheer. I had my car towed here to diagnose an issue with the clutch. They told me it was a complete hydraulic failure and I was charged an agreed upon 180 dollars for a diagnosis. When I got the car back I found out it was not a hydraulic failure but the mast cylinder had a plastic piece broken off. It took me less than 30 seconds to look and see the issue. You can see in the photos what the issue is, meaning they simply didn't look? They told me I should completely replace the master and slave cylinder. Though they clearly hadn't looked the slave cylinder which was brand new. I nicely went back and asked to speak about this. The front desk told me a manager would be in contact for this kind of issue as I don't feel I should have been charged anything for this do nothing diagnosis. The manger has yet to call me back its been 2-3 weeks now.

I brought my suv to many car shops in the past, but I must say that I had the absolute best experience with Dave’s Automotive! I mentioned this to 3 family members today. Other shops wanted to overcharge me by hundreds of dollars more or recommended repairs for things that didn’t need to be serviced. For instance, I had my front brakes replaced 1-2 years ago and the other auto shop told me that they would need to be replaced in 6 months or less, after I let them replace the back brakes only. Dave’s Automotive informed me that my front brakes are fairly new and do not need to be serviced, after I asked them if I needed a brake job and they said that my back brakes were brand new. I never told them anything about my brakes’ status and they were absolutely correct. I read some of their reviews, before bringing my suv there, since I have had bad experiences with some shops, and I have to agree with those, who said that their prices are great or better than other shops. I must also say that they are extremely honest. I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of, since I am a woman. Then, to top it off, for my courtesy checks, they texted pictures of their findings, so that I could have a visual. I was extremely impressed and appreciative across the board! I forgot to say that I applauded this company in speaking with my Uber Driver as well! I have found a new car shop in Dave’s Automotive! Thank you again for the outstanding customer service that you provided on today!!!!
