Update: The values don't drop that fast. You either screwed me on the purchase, or trying to screw me on the trade. Awful business. Be very careful buying a car here. Used car was roughly $19,000 less than 8 months ago. Put about 6,000 miles on it and now they want to offer less than half to trade it in. That's a very expensive 8 months. I know cars depreciate, but over 50% in well under a year on an already used car? With that math, the car will be worth $0 at just over the 1 year mark. Cannot recommend McGrath/Davenport used car Superstore.

Bought a car around end of August 2025 and before purchasing the car I noticed some issues which I told them needed to be fixed considering I wanted to buy it but also just shouldn’t be selling a broken vehicle! They “fixed” this laundry list of issues, I bought the vehicle and not even 2 months later all the same lights came flashing on. Right before the holidays which is perfect timing, thankfully I had a warranty to cover the part they did not fix but overall. They were not helpful, hard to get ahold of and sold me a broken car. I’d reconsider shopping here for sure!

Fair prices and good used cars. I'm impressed with how they inspect and make repairs on their cars before they put them up for sale. Logan and Craig were very easy to work with. I had a couple minor items to be taken care of and they took care of them. The vehicle I found was in Iowa City and they brought it to Davenport for me to look at. They have a large inventory of cars to choose from. I've purchased many cars in the past and I was in the car business years ago. They are one of the few dealerships in the Quad Cities that I would trust. When I went to their service department for the minor repair, they were easy to work with and they got it done quickly.

I wouldn’t recommend buying a vehicle from this dealership, especially when they have careless employees driving their vehicles. I was on my way to where I was going, heading north on Brady St. in the far left lane. A black Malibu covered in stock number stickers and a buyers guide was originally driving in the far left lane and moved to a middle lane and was sitting in the second from left lane next to me at the stop light at the 46th St intersection. We get a green light and leave at the same pace. Drive past the main entry and then almost have my front bumper taken off by this Malibu as the driver flips on a turn signal at the absolute last second and SLAMS on the brakes to whip into the employee parking lot next to the dealership. Camera footage will show proof that this took place right before 8:30am on Saturday. The driver is lucky (yet stupid) that they didn’t have a dealer plate fixed to the car so I could tell exactly who is driving the car. Regardless, this is stupid, reckless, and potentially could have damaged personal and dealer property and whatever could have followed from there. Imagine explaining to HR that an employee caused an accident where they get pit maneuvered into their own parking lot because they’re driving a moving McGrath billboard and purposely cut another car off, when they could’ve just sat in the left lane originally like a normal human being. It’s one thing to be a reckless employee, but to be driving a company car and almost wrecking it right in front of your own dealership should be an immediate grounds for losing the demo, written up, and terminated. I regret to write this, but as a fellow employee of the business, I cannot let this slide as you’re EXPECTED to drive A PRIVILEGED company vehicle with respect. If I’m the lucky one paying attention and prevented the accident, someone else could be the innocent victim next time. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I wanted to do a funny, silly review because of all the hilarious stories I had been told my time being at Mcgrath trying to find the right vehicle. Trust me there was A LOT because my fiancé & I spent SO much time there because I was so extremely picky with what i was in there looking for. When we first went in there it wasn't my intention to buy a new to me vehicle, I was strictly going in there to see what my options were with the vehicle I currently had. When we had gotten there we had spoken to salesman, Riley Larson and our plans completely changed. He was extremely helpful and brutally honest on some things that we did not want to hear, but he did not quit until he found us something we liked. I was probably one of most annoying, stressful, difficult, conflicted customers he has had, but he handled it with the most care, kindness, goofiness, professionalism & patience I think I have ever witnessed. Over the couple months that we had been in there working with Riley we had test drove nearly 10 cars and he proved to us MULTIPLE times that he would not quit until he was able to get us in a vehicle that would work for us financially & comfortably for our growing family. The amount of patience Riley showed us and treated us with was truly remarkable. For a little bit of time that we had spent there Riley was also training a new employee named Dan, and Dan was extremely great as well! When our salesman was busy with other customers, Dan made sure we were very comfortable and even showed us a car as well and did an AMAZING job explaining in large detail everything we would need to know about the vehicle! Great sales man in training as well, definitely proved her will be a great asset to the Davenport Used Car Superstore team! Our finance guy Adam M. did a great job explaining everything we would be paying for, and even drew pictures to help us understand a little bit more about the certain warranties we had and what they would cover, it wasn't like getting my cat out of the tree but it truly did help me understand what I would need to do if I had any issues! All in all, we had a long fantastic experience at Davenport Used Car Superstore. I can not express enough how appreciative I am to Dan, Adam and most of all Riley Larson for their time, patience and dedication for getting me in to a new to me reliable vehicle that i love!! Thank you guys so much!!!

Honestly hands down the best place to purchase a car from in the QC. I went in not expecting to get a newer car! Honestly after my divorce I was expecting to need a co-signer. I worked with VERN amazing individual, I gave him a list of vehicles and makes and models that I liked and dis liked and he went to work! Treated me and my family like close friends very professional and very friendly! When Vern was a little busy with another customer he tagged in one of his co-workers Riley who was also amazing and very friendly during the test ride! Josh the finance guy remembered me from when I bought a car back in 2019. Adam Moody was very professional and so sweet!
