I agree with Josh, a joke. I paid for brakes, rotors & labor but when I went to another place later on because of problems again they said that all they did was slap pads on them !

Got used tires here...fast service and great prices. The only downfall is there really isn't much of a waiting area.

This place is a joke talking to one of their so called mechanics was more than enough for me ,the guy was clueless to any of my questions and was obviously a glorified parts changer. Refuse to let you provide the parts (cause that's how they gouge you ) they must make money by overcharging you for the part you need. . pfft disgraceful way to run a business.

Family owned and knowledgeable people who aren't afraid of tackling a job or suggesting a specialist for the work. If you have car or truck problems, go to Davis Auto and they will help you regardless if they do the work or if they direct you to someone who can! Thank you Davis Auto!

This place is owned by a family that has great value and who are honest and caring people. I had my check engine light come on while driving home to Kansas City so i pulled over called AAA's row service and the driver Charlie with Pro tow was a great guy who I know saw some fear in my voice about getting taken for a ride since I was a woman alone with her dog and he made me feel ssfe and comfortable he suggested this place and they were wonderful people. I would recommend then to anyone they are honest very knowledgeable about cars and very very kind. I realky appreciated the kindness the showed to me and my dog.

My wife and I purchased a 2011 Chevy Malibu at Davis Auto. This is the fourth car that I have purchased from them. This Malibu was $4,795. My wife and I test drove the Malibu on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. We noticed a squealing sound and a wheel rub noise during the test drive. We brought this to their attention and Ron went on a drive with us. He said that the noise was due to the car sitting and the rotors becoming rusty and the rust would go away as the brakes are used. I asked them if they inspected the Malibu and they said they did. I asked if they check bearings, ball joints, and shocks. They told me that all of the suspension parts were tight and that the shocks were all good. They said there were no mechanical issues with the car. We decided to purchase the car because we trusted them. Typically, I would have had the car inspected before purchase but the owner of the shop that I go to recently passed away so it is no longer open and I had not found a new shop yet. So we trusted them and purchased the car on Thursday June 13, 2019. After a few days of driving it, the rust had worn off of the rotors but the noises were still there so we decided to take it to yeoman service center to have it inspected on Wednesday June 19, 2019. Yeoman informed me that the lower control arm/ball joint combo on the drivers side front was loose and had play in it. They also informed me that the rear shocks were going bad. Those were the urgent repairs and would cost about $800. There were also three non-urgent repairs. I went back to Davis Auto and showed them the inspection paperwork from Yeoman on June 19, 2019 right after it was inspected and they proceeded to tell me that they did not think there was anything wrong with the suspension but that they would take a look at it. They said they could not fit me in for a couple days so I scheduled it for my next day off which was Wednesday June 26, 2019. We did not drive the car from June 19, 2019 through June 26, 2019 other than bringing it back to Davis to be looked at. I went down to Davis this morning which is June 26, 2019. I stood there with them while they raised it and their mechanic said, "The ball joint does have play in it". The office lady proceeded to say that she would give me a discount and fix it for $350. I asked her why she lied to me about the suspension being tight and she said that I purchased "as is" and that its a used car so these things should be expected. Which is true, but not on parts that they told me they checked and were good to begin with. Then she proceeded to say that my Wife probably hit a pot hole and that caused it. I could easily tell they were trying to put the blame on someone else. I became angry with them and I told them they were liars because they lied to my Wife and I. I also cursed a few times so the situation did get the best of me a little bit but it was after I realized they were not going to help us even though they put us in this situation. I called Hires and they said they would repair it with an alignment for $400 so Davis was not trying to help us at all. Davis also refused to do anything about the struts in the rear. I would stay away from Davis because I had to find out the hard way that they will lie straight to your face and refuse to help you later. I do not expect perfection from a used car, nobody should, but I do expect honesty from a place that I do business with. Thanks for taking the time to read this long review. I wanted everyone to see the whole TRUE story and make their own assessment. Update: My wife and I had to get rid of the Malibu. We took 2500 for it and took a loss of over $2,000. One month after purchase from Davis Auto the transmission started slipping and could not seem to find gears when getting back into the throttle and coasting. We took it to a transmission shop and sure enough it needed a new transmission. Then while bringing it home from there the check engine light came on and the engine started running rough. I would avoid buying any of the junk that davis auto has.

I had great service with this company years ago when I took my mother's car there for tires, so naturally I went back when I needed it. I highly recommend servicing your vehicle with Davis. Had a slight hiccup during repair, but they went above and beyond in making it right and getting me moving down the road again.
